Doug GHenry was an outstanding representative for U-Haul. He made sure rental was clean & prepped for the trip to Ga., Explained the nuances of the truck and contract fully. He was so very patient with me during the whole ordeal and very supportive of my situation. I reserved in a St. Pete. location on a Monday for a Saturday pickup and was informed on Friday that the truck & vehicle trailer I ordered could be picked up in Tarpon Springs 30 miles north. He attempted to find the truck I ordered closer to St. Pete. but unfortunately, he had to only one. Once I got up there, he recognized right away that my personal truck wouldn't fit on the trailer. Despite the inconveniences, I weighed the options and decided to remain on course, as I had people set up to assist in packing for the day. I left my personal truck at Tarpon location (again, Henry was gracious enough to allow that, even for an extended time if necessary as I would be in Ga. for over a month) and drove 30 miles back to St. Pete.with the rental. My issue is 1) when I made the reservation for this combo, it wouldn't have been so bad if I had known at the time Tarpon was the only truck available...or that location may change. 2) IF the reservation location had asked questions or looked at my personal truck & realized the trailer wouldn't be appropriate, I would have been prepared to make arrangements for someone to take me to Tarpon and/or would have been aware that now I wouldn't have a vehicle at my destination & could at that point possibly made alternate arrangements. However, at this point, I am making decisions on the fly...I have people waiting on me, I'm 40 min. away trying to figure what to do with my vehicle, and now have to find someone available to drive me BACK to Tarpon to pick up my personal truck later in the day. My point is this; IF I had been aware Monday of the pickup location & trailer issues, I could have made decisions much earlier and in a good frame of mind vs. the last minute timing. It worked out, however, the stress was evident & I still need to get transport to Fl. to pick up my vehicle.
mark mThe gentleman who works here is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I’ve had issues in the past where my reservation has been canceled or moved over 20 miles away. He was wonderful and since we will need a trailer again, three more times, he helped me get that scheduled and assured me that I wouldn’t have any issues.

MARK DEverything was a nightmare!! Will never use uhaul again and especially NEVER recommend this location!!! Gentlemen, I use that word lightly, was extremely rude and unhelpful. Especially when he knew the situation and just talked about moonshine. I swear that store must be a front for moonshine seeing as he kept talking about it.

LISA MTruck had two broken visors, and had less than 1/2 tank. But the uhaul process itself was atrocious! It was time consuming, complicated, incredibly personally invasive and so much more difficult than just walking in a place. I refuse to use online ordering again.

David GJust a general comment on the design of the 6x12 trailer - with a roll-up door at the back, the user risks the load shifting against the door preventing it going up. There is no other way into the trailer so this could result in a very difficult situation. Swing out doors would be better, though perhaps not as weather tight.
CHRISTOPHER DAlthough the equipment was clean the windows weren’t clean. That is a very important for safety and should be cleaned after or before it’s loaned out each time.

Matthew WMy experience with U-Haul overall is excellent. However the facility BBT was not a pleasant experience at all! When you walk in there are signs on the counter meant to funny I’m sure however the depict the proprietor attitude about how the customer is nothing but a bother. Once you begin conversation with him the feeling is only enhanced. When I returned the vehicle he would not come outside to inspect the vehicle. I left the vehicle in the same condition I rented it yet latter he stated he had a small dent. Whether it did or not all I know as it wasn’t there when I left it. U-Haul made that right also and is appreciated. I will continue to do business with U-Haul but never again from that location

DAWN DOnce again, friendly staff, but not too motivated. I had to call unable for the return the next day because they didn’t do what they needed to do for the return. They did not care that the appliance dolly was broken and didn’t do anything about it, as in refund my rental fee for it. I imagine that it was, or will be, rented out just as I left it, broken, again.
