There was no equipment on the truck. They sent us to another location, which gave us a hard time about picking up there. THIS ENTIRE RESERVATION WAS A JOKE. The only good thing at BT was the nice lady that tried to help us.... If not for her I would have cancelled....and I WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN FOR ANY REASON...EVER....A TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME.

Service is good, but physical quality of the building is terrible. Vehicles are in good shape as well. I did not like being hit with a stream of fees. Online I was told it would only cost me $20 to rent my vehicle of choice. On site, with fees added it ended up costing $46. More than twice as much?! Sounds like you are trying to reel in people with false advertising.

This is not the fault of the location itself, but UHaul as a company. I reserved my trailer MONTHS in advance to be picked up close to my home at the Stumph Rd. location in Parma, OH. I confirmed the date, time and location of pick-up with uHaul mere days prior to my trip, and was told it would be ready at the Stumph Rd. location at 12:00pm on my pick-up day. Then, the day before the pick-up I received a call telling me that I had to go to this location, over an hour away instead. When I complained and asked why this was the case, I was told my reserved trailer had been given to another customer on the Monday of that week, and that this was the next closest one in NE Ohio. Furthermore, I was told that my reservation was only a reservation of a "preferred location" and that the only guarantee this provided me from uHaul was that my pick-up location would be within 10 miles of that location. Putting both addresses into Google Maps, reveals that the location I now had to go to was 15.4 miles away from my preferred location, which violates uHaul's supposed "guarantee" and inconvenienced me by turning what should have been a 50 minute round-trip pick up into an hour and twenty minute round trip the day before I was to leave town. Your customer service line was supremely unhelpful, and two different agents promised to call me back with a solution. Neither did. I will honestly have a hard time recommending uHaul to anybody in the future.

The location was a bit run-down looking and not staffed all the time, however, the site agent was extremely helpful and provided great customer service by taking the time to safely retrieve and return a personal item that we left behind in the truck!

The look of the outside could be deceiving but the lady who helped us was very nice. We estimated my mileage for the day to be 20 but I only ended up driving 15 and was sent an updated bill the very next day with the $0.99 per mile deducted from the original estimate. We had a very positive rental experience and would use them again if needed

Nothing. We understand space is limited so only 14' trucks are available. If you need other sizes, other locations will accommodate. The location was 2 minutes from our apartment so easy pick up, quick return. Very affordable.

This location is worthless and they charged me for fuel when I went to the gas station and put it back to where it was supposed to be. $46.20 is what they charge me I will never in my life come there again and if this is how uhaul run their buisness I am telling my friends and family never to use uhaul again this is my first and last time using them

This was a small store front, difficult to find or park in front of. The trailer was parked in a vacant lot next door. The other parked Uhaul vans on the street was my indication that the drop off was close by. It is also on a one-way street with no way to go around the block.

When I arrived at the Mt. Carmel location it was closed and locked. A nice lady that worked in the store next door, made some phone calls and after several calls later she talked to a man that worked for the company. He said that he was going to walk over and would be there in a few minutes. I was under the impression that, that is what would take place. I sat in my car to wait. 30 minutes later, the nice lady from the store came out to my car handing me a cordless phone. This time it was a lady on the other end that said Uhaul never contacted her to tell her to come to work and that she usually will get a text or an email about reservations, but didnt, and that she would be there in 25 minutes. After went back and forth about that, it still took her over an hour to register me in the system. She claimed that the computer was slow. Now I will admit that my patients were completely GONE at this point. I had a reservation and my pick up time was 11am, I didnt leave UHaul until almost 2pm. I was very late for the business that I needed to take care of and on top of all of that all these extra charges are still pending on my credit card and I had to find someone to detach the trailer from my car.

Buy your employee a new computer that works. Make sure the building is unlocked on time. It took nearly an hour to check in/out and I have to make a third trip to get my license back after he forgot to return it to me!

The manager at this site was very friendly and helpful but the area of the pick up location was not a safe feeling (not "inviting) place in Cleveland. Not sure what other locations would have felt safer but I was not comfortable in this area.

Vey worse experience. The employee massed up the contracts at all. They put two contracts under my name and mistook record the milages. Right now, I have the wrong second receipt emails which was under my name but was not the car I rented. My original bill was wrong too because I found I am over charged!

I had to spend about 45 minutes each at the location when picking up and when returning the truck. They had to open up the shop and boot up their computers (which run very slow apparently driving its operator nuts)..taking up an unreasonable amount of time. A faster computer that is left on as standby will be better.

IMPROVEMENTS: 1. Clean up the office and get rid of the garage sale items for sale. 2. Don't ask me to fill out everything on-line only to make me wait to have someone retype it all in. 3. It's insulting to have to leave family and personal references when my card has already been validated on-line and I rent from U-Haul all the time. I've never been asked for references before. 4. There was only one person in front of me when I arrived, yet it took an hour and a half to get the rental truck. The woman incredibly slow, couldn't understand anything said to her because she was behind a thick pane of bullet proof glass. She had to have all the information I'd already typed into the website reservation site written down for her again. Then she reentered all of the data, including my card info again. To compound the dual entry, the lady typed twice as slow as my 90 year old mother. The office PC had a slower internet connection than the original dial up AOL. THE POSITIVE: The woman was very nice and made sure that everything was taken care of - including spending 10 minutes inspecting and marking each and every little nick and scratch on the the truck that was damaged - and with 78K miles - there was a lot to mark down. CONCLUSION: The overall experience was excruciatingly painful.
