Manager was super helpful. He stayed beyond 5 pm up on request and ensured my trailer is returned. He personally moved the trailer by hand. The rest of the process was handled easily, just needed a reminder phone call ;). I would rent again.Arvind N.

I was having trouble using online pickup for truck..ended up waiting until location opened and went in and asked employee for help, not only was employee rude and dismissive he basically told me to go finish up the online check out so he could help next person.Kerri S.
Don't allow reservations to be made online for pickup times that do not align with the pickup location. Wasted 2 hours of mine and other peoples time because I was allowed to book a 7am pickup and the location required an in person transaction to pickup but didnt open until 9am. Also, wasted another 40 minutes at pickup because the employee wasn't properly trained on checking in a reservation. In all, Uhaul wasted nearly 3 hours of time that I needed in order to complete my move. I most likely will be using an alternate party for the next phase of my move.Eric S.

What a joke this. I was to pick up in maplewood mn. text me 8;30 am day of moving saying I had to pick up and drop off in Eagen mn. 30 miles away. Tryed everything to get them to find a closer one for me. Nope.... That wasnt fair with the cost of gas at almost 4 dollars a gallon and we had to go 30MILES away.You need to do better. Then the guy told me the truck had to be returned the next day by noon. I returned it the same day so why was I charged 20 dollars for returning after hours?????grace M.

The truck was not mechanically sounds. I could hear load knocking noises coming from the front end of the trucks while maneuvering. The truck had very poor gas mileage despite my very slow and conservative driving,I literally got 5 MPG. The truck had issues to accelerate on the highway, the max it could reach "empty" was 60 mph, "full", it was about 45 mph. The truck would swerve left and right on the highway as if something was loose in the steering system. I have never had such issues with uhaul which is why I'm kind of surprised and pissed.ZEGBI G.
the app was not working properly. I rented originally via the web site at a different location, uhaul then called to change the pick up location . part of the app told me to go to the old location for pick up and part of the app told me to go to the new location. same thing happened on return and thus I went to the old location to return and when I tried to check in it, it told me to go where I picked it up. this is a bug that cost me two hours and lots of frustration.Michael H.

The self check-in (android) app nearly lost me on the upload photo step. The need to press the camera button a second time to cause the upload was NOT intuitive to me. But I am kinda old.Dave S.

People often move on weekends but this place doesn't staff on weekends. I ha tonuse the Uhaul app which failed constantly. When returning the van, the app didn't work amd I had to use uhaul.com. I had to keep flipping between my browser and camera because some ohoto kept being requested. 1) fix the uhaul app or don't offer an app at all. 2) explain the steps for pickup ahead of time and maybe advise to show up 20 minutes earlier than the rental timeframe. 3) give a list of photos needed for upload to the uhaul online portal for returning the truck.Micah K.

the actual rental location is very clean. Seriously I'm not used to a U-Haul location being this cleanly. the guy at the front desk was knowledgeable and helpful. The truck was standard, nothing special. I will note that the seal on the hand truck broke loose and it slid around. I was not charged for it, however, so I'm not complaining. Truck parking was all full so I had to park it by the front door. It was after-hours so I hope that I made the right choice.Alison J.
The uhaul was filthy when I picked it up. And I didn't even notice it was dirty until I slid my mattresses across the dirt when I started moving. I put $20 worth of gas in and still got charged another $20 because it was a little under where it was when I picked the truck up. That was the last of the money I had and I couldn't fill the tank up anymore. I got charged $150 for this rental, and that's the most I've ever paid for a uhaul. Not happy that I had to pay so much this time around, for a disgustingly filthy truck that ruined my mattresses. Someone obviously didn't even check this truck in before I took it. I'm sure the mileage and the gas gauge were off as well. But I ended up paying for all of that in the end.Reanna E.

I spent the whole morning chasing the truck around as it was promised to me at a certain location. After several phone calls to locate the vehicle and four stops later, not to mention an incredibly rude person who answered the phone, I was told they couldn't help me out. I will not rent from UHaul again or recommend it to anyone I know. Worst service I've received in a very long time.KEVIN M.

The trailer I rented for this weekend had to be re-scheduled several times because the previous renters didn't return on time. Fortunately, U-Haul told us about this in advance of our arrival. But each time, with the help of U-Haul's customer service rep. I had to find another trailer within a reasonable distance from our home in Prescott, WI. But for her professional, pleasant, caring, thorough and calm help, I might have rated my experience with U-Haul a "1". But her help made a "5" rating a no-brainer. Though she remembered my name and situation between calls, I never learned hers. I wish I had because I'd hire her in an instant if I ever have the chance. Watch out, U-Haul! If you don't treat her well, I'll ask her to join my business. So there!JOHN G.
