i had a truck reserved for 9:00 am no one was there when I arrived after contacting 1-800-go uhaul they contacted the owner and prompted some one to open at 10:00. Upon returning my rental the office personnel informed me they would have to email my receipt because their printer was not working. Upon checking my receipt tonight I discovered a fuel fee of 30.00. I put 22 miles on the truck and put three gallons of gas in the tank. Ridiculous charge. The customer service at this location was extremely poor. I will not be back

Only one person working the property. The first words out of his mouth was that I was late. Not knowing the area, I had to search the neighborhood for a gas station to top off the tank. I was 11 minutes late. I explained that we should have been given more time, based on the pickup experience. I also mentioned that the truck only had a half a tank of gas at the time of pickup. I took a picture to confirm the mileage and gas gauge at the time of pickup. I showed him the picture, and he said that didn’t confirm anything. I said I just didn’t want to get charged for the gas if they thought the truck was full when I picked it up. He said I should have immediately let them know. I felt I was getting punished. Again, not the best experience. As far as the truck, it was awesome! It handled great and fulfilled all of our needs.

The location person was not knowledgeable on the equipment. Unprofessional. He was dressed in flip flop sandals. He said the printer had no paper so could not provide a paper copy of the contract. The location of my pick up was changed 3 times to the most inconvenient location.

The truck I picked up for a one-way trip was new and in excellent company. Since this site is a subsidiary, like a franchise, they do not have a lot of vehicle variety, so I got lucky. Also, they have no packing materials to purchase. Thanks for Robert (Regional Manager) and James (Saturday sales person).

I reserved two u-boxes on line,arrived at location and was told they dont do u-boxes. After an hour with customer service i decided to rent truck and drive belongings to San Antonio. Should be refunded some or all of $55.00 rental charge since u-boxes were no available

The place is small but has pretty much everything I need. I am first time rent the bumper trailer. Uhaul made this experience wonderful. I have nothing to say but "Thank you UHAUL"

The local location was fine. The regional scheduling office is terrible. I rent from Uhaul maby 2x / month. These people confirmed my rental prior to my 3 hour drive, then on arrival to pick up they suggest I go to a location over an hour away. Then they yelled at me on the phone and talked over me. Then told me nothing was closer.. --I found what I needed directly at the local store. The area scheduling team needs to be wiped and restaffed.

rented a 6' x 12' open trailer went to pick-up a box that was 5' x 6' it would not fit, the rear door was less than 5'. took it back, rented another 6,x12' trailer with a larger door. I shill was billed for the first one. called two time to take to a manager. never got to speak to one. got a email that said nothing that can do.

I had great dificulty getting the one way trailer even though it was in side Cal . I wanted an open trailer to haul a little lumber that I had bought. I had to have an enclosed trailer so I had a hard time seeing to the rear. Very unnecessary to have a big trailer for my needs. You should provide more open trailers one way......

The attendant was in hour and a half late. I was overcharged. The attendant was rude and used derogatory language. The truck was in very bad shape. Would not start at times. I will try to never use U haul for my moving needs.

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC! This is the kind of stuff that goes viral. 1) We don't like getting moved from a good location to a low end/bad one. Took ONE AND HALF HOURS FOR THEM TO DO THE PAPERWORK! We are repeat UHaul customers! This is UNACCEPTABLE and PATHETIC!

I needed a 20' truck, none available, ok. That ended that, So I had to rent a 15' truck then a 10' truck. YOUR SYSTEM TOOK ALL MY INFO APPLIED IT TO SOMEONE IN OAKLAND twice, THEN IN HAYWARD, & IN STOCKTON xtwice also, FOR A 20' THAT I COULDN'T GET!!!! xTWICE WHEN I TRIED TO RENT OUT A TRUCK. IM NOT HAPPY AT ALL. IVE BEEN JERK AROUND & TAKEN ADVANTAGE OFF. IM NOT HAPPY & DIFFINITLY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. NOONE HAS AN ANSWER FOR ME!!!! WHEN I FIRST ASKED YOU, YOU ALL TO STOP & TAKE MY INFO OUT OF YOUR SYSTEM. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!!!!!

Run by a couple kids that have no idea what they are doing. They were rude to customers and didn’t know how to work the computers. Overcharged for a rental. Would absolutely never come back here again. Probably never even U haul again after dealing with this place.

Everything was great from the truck to the service! However, my only complaint was that the attendant didn’t help us set up our tow dolly. He said he “didn’t want that responsibility”. We had to watch a YouTube video in order to figure out how to set it up.

The employee was 25 minutes late. When I called the location because the front gate was closed, I had called the locations number. It was a personal number and the voice mail was full. He didnt even apologize for being late. I will not be recommending this location for any business.

Know what is going on. I completed the order online and prepaid and it still took over 1/2 hour to get the truck. I got a call two hours later asking me when I was going to pick up the truck.

The employee did not know how to even operate the computer to do his work to check us in. He took 30minutes to do everything. Our reservation was at 9am but we end up leaving around 9:30am. No discounts or anything to make up this poor service. Employee who especially works at newer place needs to be well-trained before they start working.

Would not use uhaul again. They were very confused from the moment they confirmed my appt. They kept asking me where I was going as if it wasn’t already in the system. And then they were running out of inventory and told me twice I should feel lucky I got equipment for my scheduled day. When the pick up day came, I used express check in becauae they say you should not have to wait in line if you use this feature. What a complete mess it turned out to be! The truck was at a location that had some one running it that had no idea what he was doing and we were there 90 minutes before the owner had to come and save the situation. Then we picked up the tow dolly at another location that I had expressed checked in, but never got a receipt for and turns out there was a glitch in the system and they wanted to charge me AGAIN and for double what I was supposed to pay. No one there knew what was going on or why it didn’t look like I had paid already but it was showing on my bank statement that the charge had gone through. One hour later we got the tow dolly and the charges reversed (three days later and the charges are still there so we’ll see). The tow dolly we got unfortunately had a broken left blinker! Another hour later after tinkering with it and not finding another available tow dolly within an hour distance we left without the tow dolly and will have to make second five hour drive to get the additional car we couldn’t tow. Again, would not recommend.

The only problem was that my pick-up location was changed. And although the app showed a change of location (which I didn’t see because I didn’t look at the app), there was no email notifying me of the change. Luckily the original location had the equipment I needed. Changing pickup locations after a reservation is made is unacceptable.

Ibwas overcharged for a mile and a half and you guys basically have called me a liar. Shitty customer service after being scammed. I don't care how minor it is. Ibwas ripped off and uhaul did nothing.

We were told to pick up the truck on Auburn blvd. When we got there we were told it was in Antelope. Were also told we could drop off the truck at any Uhaul, we had to go to two places. Also, they did not write down the mileage correct. It said we had gone -1000 miles instead of +100 miles.

I have rented several U-Hauls over the years. I rented 2 bags of furniture blankets and didn't even open the 2nd one. The truck was broom clean as required and the used blankets were in the overhead. I was told that if I didn't fold the blankets back up, the way I found them, there would be a $25 charge. Needless to say, I went and folded them all up, but that was truly an insult at that point.

Office opened 5 minutes late?, we were early by 10 minutes. You had our reservation for 8 AM 2 days in advance and they still were late? Poor customer presentation. Next entered office and I told her I was there to get trailer, she said go ahead and hook it up and come back to the office? Fine with me. However, I have rented from a few different U-haul offices and NEVER had someone say hook it up yourself. So we did and returned to office. Next experience was she went thru my order asking many of the questions I had entered into my reservation. Felt like Seinfeld, saying it's in my online reservation. Before leaving I asked the guy in the garage did he want to check the unit to be sure it was connected properly and the signals/brake lights worked. He said no, you're good to go. Fine with me as I have trailer many times, but wondered if this was smart for the less educated. On return, I just parked the trailer back in the good location and went to office and was out in fine fashion. Overall, I am raising what I think could be a safety issue not inspecting the trailer before departure for this location. Otherwise, be on time. It's poor form.

I am very displeased and upset. When I picked up the truck I was told their would be no charge to keep the truck an extra day, and my card was charged an extra day and a extra day of insurance after drop off at the TSW/Natomas location! I should have only been charged $2.40 for the extra mileage!
