The cab of the truck smelled horrible. Like someone went to the bathroom in it. The oil in the truck needs to be changed.

When filling up with gas for the first time after getting truck, I noticed the inside driver's side back tire was low in air. The tire would not take air. Upon further inspection, the tire had a hole in the side wall. Turns out the outside tire next to the tire with the hole was bald. I was driving the truck one way over 1,000 miles! My concern after this experience is that some of the smaller “mom & pop” locations do not inspect their equipment before releasing it to the customer. They are more concerned about just making money and not the safety of the customer. For the future, I will go to the official UHaul Moving & Storage locations. I am and will continue to be a loyal customer. The truck should be inspected before releasing to customer. The truck inside the back was not cleaned out. Would not give me a paper contract. Only sent contract by email.

I will have to give them credit for their customer care. I had to cancel my reservation (upon arrival due to not knowing about the 2 in ball). I was upset when I left. Found a ball, and went back to them (without calling or scheduling another reservation). They immediately jumped into action to make sure the same trailer was available . Even with their busy schedule they made time for me AFTER I CANCELED!!! That was very impressive to me.

The after hours return process did not work for me on Sunday evening or Monday morning. I had to call U-Haul 800 number to get assistance Che Koning the trailer in to prevent me making a third trip to the location

I told the store manager I would be returning the trailer after hours and he said to just drop it where I found it and I was good to go. I returned it at 6:00pm, 2hrs ahead of my return deadline exactly where I picked it up. The next morning I got an email that they charged me for 2 full days plus a $20 fee for returning it after hours ($102.25 instead of the original $40 something for my 8hr rental). They ended up removing the 2nd day charge, but wouldn't budge on the $20 fee even though they said all I had to do was drop the trailer where I found it. I was apparently to fill out an online after hours return form that was posted on a small sign on the side of the building exterior, but they made no mention of that during the rental process. The workers there were polite and professional but I felt it was ridiculous to charge the fee when I had photographed evidence of my return time and they had security cameras that could have also verified it. I'll definitely not rent from that location again.

Trailers were sitting in a dry, grassy field. Called the business to verify my rental was returned properly as I did my return online but had not received an email confirmation and the representative at the business never called me back.

I rented a 6' X12' that was not at this location I had to wait an hour for the place to open. Supposed to open at 0800 and did not till 0900. I had to take a 5' X 8' and had to make it work by over packing.

Why did my email address go out to all these insurance companies? Right after I rented your truck I get slammed with insurance offers.

Everything had to be done online. Had to call multiple times to get someone from another location to help because the location manager where I picked up the truck was not answering his phone. I was charged multiple times before even returning the truck. Was promised a refund of one of the charges, only received a partial refund. Very poor service from this location.

I didn't need the truck the whole time that I thought. I picked it up at 10:58 on Monday and returned at 12:10 on Tuesday. I don't think I should have been charged a full day rental for the extra hour and a half. I'm not saying that I shouldn't pay something but I think it's a little ridiculous to charge me the full days rental for an hour and a half late.

Be upfront about the full details of what you will be charged, I had the truck @ a rate of 29.95, drove 16 miles,when i dropped off I ended up paying almost $100...a complete rip off, but the truck was clean and drove well! I would rather research all choices before I choose this type of service again...much different from my quote at booking!! More like an overhaul!

You new system is a disaster. I cancelled a rental about 3 weeks ago as the new system was down and there was no back-up. I rented a truck in Florida, but the older gentlemen was confused by the system and I had a long delay and wound up not being able to make changes to credit card. I rented again yesterday. It was a younger gentlemen who understood the system better, but still incurred delays. When I mad the reservation for this rental I attempted to create an account number and password. After several tries I gave up as your new system could not match passwords. It was not my error. It is always best to test systems before introducing them. Not to worry. Corporations don't worry about customers as you are all saving money and making bigger profits. That is the American way. You competition is so bad that there is no need to enhance customer service. It won't take long before the United Corporations of America reintroduce slavery (Slavery 2.0) making all non corporate officers and politicians serve in a slave state. Sincerely, Peter Brown

We were scheduled to return trailer at 9 am and during pick up in FL were asked if we'd be dropping off during business hours, we said yes as we'd easily be able to return by 9 am. Who knew that the location didn't open until 10. So we made it to drop off the trailer just after 10 (tricky location to find as we had allowed plenty of time following navigation apps). We ended up being charged an extra day, knowing good and well we didn't really use the extra day at all. I feel they nickel and dimed us for the extra day.

Be a little clearer that money may be held on payment method. We spoke about it and they cleared up the “why” for me. It was an outstanding experience overall! Thank you.

Be there when a customer shows up. Make the pick up NOT last 35 minutes. Be able to print out a contract. Employee who hooked up trailer forgot to insert safety pin. DANGEROUS!!

Excellent! Aby and Mark were very helpful in helping me hooking up and disconnecting the trailer from my hitch.They made sure i know how to do after hour drop off so I don't get charged extra day. Mark ended up doing it for me. I would rent from this place again.

Have a person actually present at the business. The UHaul facility was supposed to be open until 6 PM it wasn't! Very weak! The only way the return happened was by contacting the 800# and using the drop box. We actually returned the rental earlier than the contact date,

I called in early August to rent a 4x8 towable cargo trailer. When I arrived at the pick up location, I was informed the reservation stated I was to receive a cargo van. I contacted the area manager Percy to resolve this matter and request a complaint be filed with reservations and a review of the call occur to show the error was made my reservations. Rather than handling the request to file a complaint, Percy continued to state “Like I said, I don't work for the reservations department, you'll have to call them.” Arrangements were made to take a 5x8 trailer instead as it was the only available option and Percy advised he would credit me for the inconvenience. The trailer was picked up on Saturday 31Aug and returned by 830am on 02Sep. I received an invoice on 03Sep2019 from Uhaul charging me for a 5x8 trailer from the 30th to the 3rd. I would like to receive a refund for all inconveniences experienced as a result of the negligence of the Uhaul staff.

The advertisement for this location does not list the fact that the owner has a large parking lot but he will not allow his uhaul customers to park in it unless they pay a fee of $15. I was not told about this until I had ALREADY rented my truck. When I protested that this was not advertised and I would have not rented from him, he said it was uhaul's policy and not his. Which is not true. The owner would not let me take my rental truck unless I moved my car to the “street” which was actually the road in front of his business and where you aren't supposed to park. AVOID!

They did not explain anything. Just told you to look at your phone, sending you a text or email, sent you out the door, hooked you up then walked away. I recommend better communication with customers regarding the contract.

I'd like to think this location with all of its fancy renovations going on would be enjoyable but it was not at all. I dropped off my trailer at 4:05pm on a Thursday and unknowingly this shop closed at 3. So much for regular business hours. Then that put me in a tailspin of having to unhitch and move it alone. I called a rogue number on the door and was simply told to drop off my trailer through the app or I would be further charged. Seriously it was awful and this only caused further issues. The ordeal is still ongoing because I was charged $20 for not folding the furniture blankets I didn't know needed to be folded.
