My Uhaul truck was given to another customer at the original location I was provided. Then the second location I was given, did not have the Uhaul. So I was sent to a third location where the truck I was initially provided with did not work. And when I informed the Uhaul representative, I received horrible service and terrible attitude. When I got there the manager told me that he was going to adjust the mileage the paper work was showing generic 13700 miles. But I took a picture of the truck before I left and a picture when i arrived. But he charged me the incorrect amount I was calling him since 4:30 and he wouldn't answer the phone. Correct mileage was 14,164 returned mileage 14203 with more gas than it had.Mauricio R.

Pick took way longer than expected. Keys were not in the lock box for a smooth pick up. The keys that in the lock box was for a different truck. Then after trying the wrong keys I had to wait about 30-35mins for the store associate to grab the keys. Check in took a whole extra 45mins. Then for check out I didn't know I had to pull in to the front of the building as I came in thru another gate towards the back. So I called uhaul not know Oo had to go that way. Very frustrating rental.Capri C.

There was only one person working. Self checkin was not functioning. I waited an hour only to be given a truck with an empty gas tank and flat tire. When I returned it there was nothing else available. I wasted a whole morning. Unacceptable. The employee was great, it was not his fault. Management is to blame here.Jennie D.

Got first truck , no A/C , gave me 2nd truck , had A/C but they came and took it back because it was a one way. Brought me another truck with no A/C in humid 90 degree weather. And just say im sorry and give me a day free. Doesnt compare to having to drive in the heat. Didnt have time to try and find another with A/c because i was on a deadlinePaul W.

Location is not ready to be open and is just an empty space with things everywhere. First van we were given was filthy and had animal hair all over the front seats - and the battery was dead. Second van was clean except for the used tissues in the cup holder. Staff is nice and handled busy times well but this location does not present a professional appearance. First of all, I want to commend the staff here for their persistence and ability with helping me out. Nothing negative to say about this location or it's staff. Very happy with them. My problem resides with UHaul. I reserved a pickup truck and auto transport as a combined single reservation (not separately). UHaul knew I intended to use the pickup truck to pull the auto transport trailer. The first issue came up a day before pickup. My reservation was set up to pickup at a location 20 minutes away, both truck and trailer. I was now told I needed to pick up the truck at a location 40 minutes away, and then go get the trailer at a separate location 10 minutes further away. This not only added mileage to my trip (good for UHaul to collect more money from me) but extra time away from other things I had been working on. I called UHaul and nobody could offer any discounts on the reservation nor the mileage rate. I needed the truck so I said â€œso be itâ€. I went to pick the truck up the next day, drove to get the trailer, and wouldn't you know it, UHaul says â€œthe pickup truck isn't capable of towing the auto transport trailerâ€. So, I'm told to go back to the truck rental location and get a 10' box truck. I run back over and the crew at the truck rental location already had everything ready for me, so off I went with the new truck back to get the trailer. But once again, after getting there, UHaul again says the new truck cannot haul the trailer. So I get sent back to get a 15' truck (right before the truck rental place closed). Thankfully, this truck passed and was allowed to tow the trailer. My portion of the rental went well, the truck and trailer were perfect for what I needed. Upon returning the trailer, the staff was on the yard already and I had the trailer dropped off in less than 5 minutes. Super simple. Same for the truck drop off, very simpleâ€¦ but because I now had to rent a 15' truck instead of the pickup, my reservation went from $114 to $185. This was also due to the higher amount of mileage I had to drive due to not being able to pick up from my choice of locations. The kicker? I got charged mileage for the two trucks that I drove to get the trailer that weren't compatible for the trailer. Go figure. I've rented just the trailer from UHaul before, and if I need one again, maybe I'll rent a trailerâ€¦ but I'll never rent the truck and trailer combined again. This experience was only saved due to the good people that are working at both locations I visited.Cole R.
It was frustrating that nobody was at the location at my designated appointment time for the pick-up and they were hard to reach on the phone - had to wait ~20 minutes for someone to show up. But once they showed up, they were extremely friendly and helpful (and apologetic), and I would definitely rent from them again. Check-in and check-out were very quick and easy. I would rate the 5 stars but for the waiting issue.richard S.
The truck was in terrible running condition. I returned the truck because I didn't feel safe driving it. Very very poor service. Will never visit this location again and will tell everyone I know not to visit that location. Employees were wonderful but the vehicle has not been serviced!!!!Evelon G.

The associates needed more help. It was one person waiting on several customers. When the associate waited on me he took a picture of my contract and stated I did not need to wait. He stated he would send my receipts in a email which I didn't receive. The associate was working hard but had to much to do.Brandon W.
Stood in line for almost an hour for a 9 am reserved pick up, when finally my turn to get my truck and hand cart that I reserved over a week ago, no carts available, truck was absolutely disgusting and looked like it's been sitting for months and never cleaned inside. I opted out of the insurance on my reservation and I was charged anyway and the agent failed to ask if I wanted it knowing I had chose to declineâ€¦ upon return of the truck the female agent was rude and wouldn't take off the ins. WORST EXPERIENCE with UHAUL ever and I use this company a lot. You just lost a longtime customerâ€¦. DO BETTER UHAUL!!KIMBERLY H.

Website said to arrive at 8:00 am but the site did not actually open until 8:30 am. Site manager did not arrive until 8:45 am and she did not have gate access. Calls to corporate office had a 40-minute wait time. The site office was a dirty unrenovated light industrial space that was mostly empty other than some trailer hitches and two dogs. Site manager allowed a later arriving person to jump ahead in line. I did not receive the truck until ~9:15 am. The gas tank was just over half full. Driver seat was permanently tilted sideways and back could not be adjusted. Mirrors could not be adjusted. Upon returning the truck the site manager said her records said the tank "was almost full" when I received it. However, I only drove 30 miles (see odometer), but I had to add 13 gallons of gas at a cost of $55. This was a horrible experience. I will never rent from u-haul again.Perrin H.

Arrived for my 9am pick up at 8:55, didn't have my truck until right at 9:30. Reserved a dolly but it wasn't available; while waiting for my truck to be brought out I saw an employee pull a couple of dollies out of her car and give to other customers that came in for pick-ups after me (nothing against any other customers as I'm sure they had reservations but it seems like one employee went out of her way to take care of them and my guy basically just said 'hey we don't have any but 'you can go to a different U-Haul location in town and get one' which would have meant losing more of my reservation time and being charged for the extra miles to drive to a new location to get something I reserved weeks in advance). Office location for pick-up was just a big empty room with no lights and an attendant clicking buttons on a cellphone. Didn't feel professional. If I was a single woman instead of a man I can definitely imagine feeling weird just walking into a big, dark, empty room in the side of an old strip mall. I've rented from U-Haul before and just had a really great experience overall and I just didn't feel great this time. My reservation wasn't really met since they didn't have a dolly for me and nobody seemed to care, I had to wait for someone to find and pull my truck around although I feel like that's something that should have been done the night before since I was waiting for the earliest possible pick up, general attitude and work space seemed unprofessional and fly-by-night, etc. My gas tank was also only a quarter full which I also thought was odd as every other rental with U-Haul has come with a full tank of gas and it was just my responsibility to refill it. It doesn't seem fair for me to have to pick up a truck 30 minutes late then immediately drive to put gas in it while being charged by the mile. I would definitely recommend U-Haul as a company but I would definitely advise friends and family NOT to use the particular location.Tyler W.

My truck was not ready on time and the representative didn't even think to apologize or try to make the Situation better. Then I asked if I could change on my card on file he told me I could when I drop the truck off but then charged the card and when I told him he still didn't apologize just said it's a temporary charge when In fact it was an actual charge. Because of the truck not being on time it made me miss my movers which were non refundable. The lack of consideration and definitely the lack of empathy is horribleWashawn R.

The inside of the truck was filthy, with sticky juice all over the cup holders and the back of the truck had broken glass inside and reeked of weed. The truck smoked and would stall and lurch every time I hit 20-30 mph. I will say the two employees who checked me in and checked me out were great and welcoming.Sharon D.

Reservation was for 9am. Representative stuck in traffic. I showed up at 10:30, rep still not there. Arrived a few minutes later. This was not a real location, more like a storage location. No computers, no reps. Had to do transaction over the phone with another person. Not seemless. Didn't get clear of facility until after 10:45.
