The bed of the truck was already a bit dirty as well as muddy when I received it. However, the service was fast and efficient, and availability of self-service and over night drop off was a plus. The agent also went above and beyond, just before closing, to book my vehicle by phone. That kind of service goes a long way.

I just want to write & say how everyone was super helpful, nice & professional, despite working under a tent during slightly inclement weather. His pc was working a little slower than usual but he was extremely apologetic during my wait and made small-talk so it was bearable for both parties. I'd def recommend despite the remodeling & slower process. Also BIG up to Alisha from your Hickory Grove Location for helping me out when I was about to drop-off at the wrong location. Keep being amazing.

First of all I checked in online to skip, personal interaction. There was a team of 2 people who approached my vehicle, NOT wearing masks, asked me all the questions I had filled out online, and when I kept my window rolled up most of the way because she was not wearing a mask, she told the man “you will get a lot of that”. They were disrespectful in not wearing a mask, making the comment stated above and it was very frustrating to take the time to skip the line and still had to! The area was poorly maintained and the cab of the truck was dirty. Overall was VERY disappointed in my experience!

I picked the truck up at 1/4 tank and left it before they closed for the day with a little more than a 1/4 tank of gas but I get an extra 62 dollars billed to my card with an invoice for gas. When I tried to call them and ask they responded the first time asking for some time and when I called 5 hours later they stopped answering!!!

The roof of the truck was damaged and allowed rainwater into the cargo bay. We had to dry out the truck before loading. none of the employees were wearing masks.

I scheduled my pickup truck after hours, 8 pm. There's was no one at the site to assist with any issues or challenges while checking in online. I spent almost 2 hours completing the online transaction to get the key and finally be on my way. I was crying with frustration because the U-haul system was not capturing my picture ID correctly. The camera scanner was not working. I tried several times unsuccessfully and had to start all over again from the top entering all my information. Finally I called for support but the agent was a bit frustrated with me as well. Finally got all the procedure done and when I was about to leave found out that all the additional equipment I have rented was not in the truck, was forgotten by whomever needed to put it in the truck. Then someone called me saying they will deliver the equipment to my home, which they did shortly afterward. My overall experience was frustrating and stressful. The returning part was easy though. I will not do this again.

The location on Independence Blvd is awkward to get in & out of at highway speeds. I found that trying to come to an abrupt stop from 55 MPH, or trying to "gun it" just to get a Uhaul tow trailer up to speed, to be difficult out of their narrow gravel driveway.

This location is unsafe and disgusting, an old restaurant building with a busted up driveway. Very gross and disappointing. Attendant was onsite and did not help us with mobile check in. Key was not in proper numbered box. Worst Uhaul experience ever and I have used Uhaul on two or three other occasions this month. Really would like a refund. I have photos of the location if you need them. Uhaul shoukd vet its operators more thoroughly.

I am a repeat customer to this Uhaul location due the amazing customer service provided there. Last time, I couldn't back the trailer into my long and narrow driveway. Frank came to my house and manually pushed the trailer into my drive then hooked it to my car. This time he brought the trailer to me! Can you believe that? Then he positioned it in my drive for easy packing and connected it to my car. Too bad I am leaving Charlotte (thus the need for the trailers) as I would definitely use this site again. I highly recommend it to others. Please overlook the less than usual setting. The people are knowledgable, kind, and extraordinarily helpful.

1st. He was letting a customer drive out with the parking brake on. I'm disabled and I had to catch them b4 leaving explaining the problem. Secondly, clearance light out and he straight-up lied to me and said they don't replace the tpms sensors so you have a light on the dash telling you the tire is flat. DOT should shut him down.

the drop off facility is boarded up, appears to be abandoned and is overgrown with weeds. I contacted the phone number listed on the location and the gentleman met me there. I would have not been able to drop off the truck without him meeting me there. He stated there was a drop off box which was hard to find. The gentleman was kind and helpful

it was difficult to find the rental office and was actually two buildings away at a different address. it was easy to pull in and out of despite being on Independence.

Office was in a cargo container. Manager was nice enough to upgrade my reservation when I got there (I needed a truck with a ramp). However, the truck's fan on it's A/C was broken. I drove with the windows down for the trip.

My experience was wonderful in regards to the customer service and employees running this location. They were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately the vehicle we were given was not running very well and we realized shortly after loading our furniture that the check oil light And battery light was on. We felt conflicted about taking the truck from Charlotte to Cornelius. Driving from Cornelius to Davidson we saw an increase in decline in the vehicles ability to increase speed and strange noises were coming from the engine. The employees from Uhaul suggested that we call 1-800-GO-U-HAUL and choose option 3. I waited on hold to speak to a representative for over 30 minutes. I never even spoke to representative to find a possible solution. With no other options I had to cut our move short, and return the truck. We still had more furniture to move, and now I will have to find another option to complete our move. I have used Uhaul for every single move, and this was a terrible experience.

I had no problem with the service. The attendant was courteous and hooked up trailer in no time. My problem was with the sticker I was driving around with for hours before I noticed it. There was a "Support Blue " in the middle of the back of the truck. The paint on the trailer sides was faded and in need of paint but more attention was paid to the sticker than the rest of the trailer. I just want you to know in no uncertain terms that I support Black.

I've used U-haul several times in the past to move my son and each time the experience has been above average. I really like the online check-in to pick up and return the truck. It is easy and I can pick up and deliver the equipment at my convenience.

An amazing experience for a first time renter/user of a trailer. I was a bit intimidated but the staff were supportive and knowledgeable. Frank even came to my house to help me get the trailer in my long and narrow driveway for loading. He went WAY beyond my expectations. The location is easy to access and don't be fooled by its somewhat sketchy appearance. Very professional people will greet you and take care of you.

This was by far the best experience I've ever had with a U-Haul provider. It was easy, efficient and the team treated me with the best customer service I've experienced! They even held onto a key I forgot in the truck. I greatly appreciate all they did to make my latest move stress free!
