The person working at the location itself was Excellent--friendly, got me what I needed, efficient. I picked up the uhaul, drove all the way home to find a pad lock on the gate. Uhaul refused to help, called the sub leasee he said it was up to uhaul. Drove it all the way back to the sub leasee he called uhaul and they gave him the code almost immediately. Wasted an hour of my time and gas because of errors that were bit my fault. (I. The man at the desk/owner was dismissive when I indicated that I had no idea where to park the trailer and do whatever was necessary to conclude my transaction with U Haul. It is a new location for U Haul and there are no signs indicating where to put the trailer -- which was complicated as it involved leaving the area and going down a street to get to the back of the business - used car sales primarily. When I asked for help separating the trailer, he said it wasn't possible to get help. I am 70 with a painful back from driving 1600 miles and boxing my son's stuff and cleaning his apartment before a moving company loaded the trailer for us. I did what I could but lifting the trailer hitch was a nonstarter. The owner/man at the desk sent a helpful employee out to help. This location has a long way to go to provide a comfortable service experience, especially for anyone with a physical disability. Signage badly needed. And an owner with a service-oriented attitude.Rachel F.

I ordered a hand truck and a furniture dollyâ€¦neither of which were provided. I had to spend over an hour to go find a hand truck that I had to purchase for $80. Wasted my ;time and cost me more money because the rental was not prepared properly. Also had to wait over 30 minutes to be approved through the contactless pickup. Would never recommend to anyone.Christopher F.

A very unsatisfactory experience--not really a U-Haul site. Just a used car lot with a couple of vans. 2/ Office didn't keep to posted hours. We waited for 30 minutes before it opened, and then the office closed early. 3/ The text interface did work .The steering column made it impossible to take the required mileage pix.THOMAS E.

Wilder wasn't really a street per se, it began and ended in the car lot that doubled as the rental pick up location. The truck was rented in Plymouth and I expected to pick it up in Plymouth, not in Saint Paul! (I was advised that pick up may be at another locaiton at the time I rented the truck, though)GOLDIE V.

The only employee there couldn't help me when the link for contact less pickup wouldn't work. He was visibly annoyed and said, "I don't know what to tell you" so I walked out to try the link again. Eventually, it worked, but when I got to the step that said to go inside to get the key I was nervous. The employee said "We just started with U-Haul. None of us have been trained. I don't know what I'm supposed to do." He did start looking for the key but couldn't find it. He then made a call and ended up finding the key, but I was very uncomfortable. I have used U-Haul several times in the past and have never had am experience like this. When I returned the van, same day, the office was closed, so as I walked up to the drop box a voice came over a loudspeaker and said, "You're trespassing, the police will be called, this is breaking and entering". I said out loud that I was returning a U-Haul but I don't think there was a microphone because the same person essentially repeated the statement. HOW UNCOMFORTABLE! I love using U-Haul, but if today had been my first experience I would never use the service again. Bottom line is this is a terrible location that needs both U-Haul AND customer service training.Cody F.
