This was a bad experience overall. First of all, the rental truck was not clean. There was trash in the floorboard and also on the console. Next, it had mechanical issues. The air conditioner did not work and the check engine light came on. It was very difficult trying to move furniture in a hot truck.

Go into more details on your contact about possible charges to someone's account.Even if the contract becomes two pages, it would be better if the font was larger and more details were given about surprised charges to the customers credit card.

The truck has started giving us problems with the transmission about half way through. Had to pull over several times because it was bucking so bad it felt like whiplash. It would rev the RPMs into the red and would not shift gears up or down no matter if you tried to speed up or slow down and would SLAM into gear miles down the road. The windshield wipers were shredded when we got into the thunderstorm we had to pull over because we couldn't see on several occasions. We made it home nearly 8 hours past the scheduled time of arrival we couldn't unload the truck we both had to be to work the next day which was also my daughters bday so it got postponed. I called to talk to a rep about the issues who told me they were going to charge me an extra $80 to hold the truck and return it later.

Well the online profile appeared that this location had everything, trailer hitch etc. I had to go to walmart to pick up a trailer hitch. However the service guy was exceptional. Just wish I knew that the location didn't have boxes, blankets, two wheelers, etc.

Okay I was shown the tow dolly and that was it the man fixed the paperwork got his money and left it to me to deal with I had to hook it up by myself had to walk back and ask them to fix a tail light on it, I was charged a 75 dollars deposit because I paid in cash and not a credit card

25 minutes Waiting before even being helped to get trailer even though had done pre check in. Had to Find trailer, hook up trailer myself. Trailer had oil in bed of it along with various auto parts. Sam won check in. Dropped trailer where I picked it up with no assistance or guidance.

There was nobody at the location at my pickup time. I had to wait 45 minutes for someone to show up. There was a Dippin' Dots wrapper in the front seat. The box had debris and dirt all over.

Gave zero instructions at all about the tow dolly didn't tell us how to attach it or anything

Employees did not seem to know or care what they were doing. Had to hook up trailer by myself, Trailer was dirty and in much less than stellar condition, The door was hard to open and close and leaked around the seal. Will not use this location EVER again.

The truck was a bit dirty inside. I also paid for a dozen furniture pads which were not in the truck when we picked it up. This did create a problem as my furniture was not well padded during the drive.

This location was able to provide us a truck after the location in Pineville, KY lost our reservation and closed 2 hours before the stated time.

I tried two different trailers. The box that I needed to load was 5 ft 10 inches across. Neither trailer was big enough to use. I returned the trailer without even using it and was unfairly charged.

I would not recommend ANY Uhaul business as a first option and would only use them in the future as a last resort. Your "reservation system" is pathetic - your rules are confusing - and the people do not even know YOUR rules. I would rather sell items online before a move and buy new as it is not a good experience with the customer in mind. To expect a customer to be prepared to pick their vehicle up at any location within 50 miles is comical.

They're really nice here - just know that they close at 430 not at 5. I tried calling them a few days before and nobody picked up their phone so I showed up in person and talked to them face to face and that was perfectly fine. The day I picked up my truck it was all ready to go and everything went smoothly.

They really need to look over the inside of their units. The one I got had was clearly lived in, full of garbage and I had to spend 2 hours cleaning it out. And the staff was rude and almost seemed to purposely give me this trailer.

Dont raise the rates anytime soon. A poor man dont stand a chance. I thought the insurance should be included in the price. The Uhaul itself was awesome. Customer service was awesome, thanks.

I dropped off on Sunday and they were closed. There were no signs to direct exactly where to leave the trailor. I just left it in tall grass for convenience. Overall the experience was good.

Nothing that I know except to just remind them they need to bring a lock ?? if they are moving in a larger vehicle that needs one on the back latch for security and safety so the door will not open when driving

Service ethics was poor. System reset at the location caused my reservation price to be erased. My rental had to be started from the beginning and brought up the price. The employee redid it to match the price by adding a discount, but the price was still higher. When asked to work it out, he refused to do it again and basically said take it or leave it; he said that he was busy, gonna have to help me with loading the car up to the dolly, and had other things to do. The price difference was small enough for him to fling out his wallet and say that he will pay me instead of ringing it up again. I got tired of dealing with it and just gave in and ended up paying more than my previous price. It's not like I needed his money, regardless the amount, but it was about ethics and service mentality. Super disappointing to find out there still are people who would run their business in this fashion. In all fairness, he did help me with the loading up the dolly and hooking my car up. Generally a cool individual, just not in an ethics setting.

Waited for single employee to spend several minutes working on a car . Guaranteed 6 X12 tralier was not there and rented 5 X 8 which was discounted some but made packing more difficult. UHaul clearly a secondary business. Hooked trailer up myself and cleaned leaves out of it and grass off the running boards.

Location and service were great, only thing that sucked is that even though the rental was in my name, paid for with my credit card, and I gave the guy my driver's license...the dude automatically assumed that my boyfriend (who was standing in the back of the room saying nothing and staring at the ground) was the one driving the trailer. Girls can drive too, yo!

Basically this location did nothing for me except print my receipt. When I arrived, I parked my truck in the back near the dolly I was picking up. Came in side and waited while the attendant went out to get the number off of the unit. He returned and completed the contract and took my payment, handed me my contract and said "there you go" When I asked if I was to hook it up myself he said sure that will be great. I went out, positioned my truck and backed it up to the dolly. Got out, hooked it up, chains, electrical and hitch, everything... the attendant never came out at all. Then, there was no wiring pigtail on my unit so I walked all the way back to the office to ask for one and he looked up at me and said just find one on another unit and take it. I did this. The tires were bald on the unit and I literally did all of the work to hook the one-way dolly up to my truck. It is a very good thing that I have done this many times as I received ZERO assistance from the lazy attendant at my pickup location. Too bad I'm not the one getting paid to do this work, it could have off set the cost of the rental. If you can avoid this location, please do, they do not deserve to be a U-Haul dealer!!!

I had to pickup my truck 14 miles away from my home and pay 0.69 cents per gallon, when there was a uhaul location 2 miles from my house but did not have a truck I requested. If I requested big truck they would have brought one in for me. So my complaint is I paid 14 miles to get a truck and I paid 14 miles to return the truck. I moved 5 miles from my old address and I should not have to pass up one of your uhaul location to get to another for what I need. Truck needs to be serviced, bad back brakes

When I picked my 4x8 trailer rental, Wayne assured me that they check everything, daily. Nope. For the U- Haul back to my parent's house, to load some things stored there....low and behold, A HUGE solid steel U- Haul sign & steel frame were in the trailer. Apparently, the trailer I rented was used as storage by the business. I got injured trying to get the sign out of this 1970s looking U- Haul trailer that I smacked my head 4 times on, out. The sign had has been wedged into the trailer. I had already had to drive 16+ miles to pick the U- Haul up. I called the business, "Auto Care" in Middlesboro, MY, to inform Wayne. He said he'd come by & pick the sign up. It is still in front of my parents used. Overall, the customer service was great at U- Haul! Love you guys....but I got the oldest U- Haul in history that has no head clearance and was being used as a storage unit. The door latch is so rusted that pieces of it were breaking off...no kidding. I love U- Haul....but that business shouldn't be utilizing your trailers for storage bins. And the trailer I received, should be "decommissioned"...lol. I don't think Wayne knew the sign was in there....but the trailer had obviously, been sitting for a very long time, indented. Why I got one that was like loading a tiny cave, is beyond me. A person could get a massive head trauma from those old tiny, small opening trailers and die from brain swelling. As an RN....I have 4 hematoma on my skull....tge first one STILL hurts. I am hoping it knocked sense into me, so that next time, I will insist on a newer unit, with better head clearance. Those old ones are death traps. But, thank you, U- Haul, for working with me, as I had to drop off in a different town due to my vehicle problema with the right CV joint & transaxle from hitting a huge pothole with that tire. The back and the U- Haul didn't hit it...I had swerved to avoid the back hitting the huge hole. Looked like a Meteorite hit right in the middle of the right lane. It was awful. So, again, thank you for your wonderful Customer Service. Caitlyn was awesome, when I first reserved the U- Haul. She deserves a raise! She made the whole reservation process, painless, easy, and quick. Thank you, again.
