When the website says “self service” it should be actual SELF SERVICE. Not SELF SERVICE only available at certain locations. The website needs to clearly specify that at some locations you have to get the keys from an associate and NOT a lockbox (thereby not making it SELF SERVICE 24/7)

The guy that works there was extremely rude, not only on the phone (literally hung up on me twice in mid sentence) but also at time of pick-up . There were two people with reservations us and another person. He proceeded to tell us that he only had 1 working 10 foot truck. He seemed very unorganized and very rude to everyone.

They were very unprofessional and weren't there when I even called ahead to make sure someone would be there during the drop off time. The location was packed with cars already and there was nowhere to park. The guy I called didn't even answer the phone with the business name and called me back on a number different than what was listed on the uhaul contract. I was having troubles with the app working for drop off and the guy basically said just drop the keys in the box it's fine. I would def not recommend this location.

Really pissed me off, I picked the vehicle up with 5/8 of a tank and returned it with 5/8 of a tank. Never got any paperwork on it but I was told I was a 1/16 low and it was going to cost me $8 bucks. I didn't really care about the 8 bucks but it's just the principal of the thing that pisses me off.

I was charged for an extra day, after I had already turned in the truck. I was also charged for fuel, after I had already filled the truck above the where the fuel line was when I picked it up. The gentleman who took the keys at drop off was very dismissive and refused to give me any paperwork showing drop off.

Truck was parked behind the building in the garbage strewn weeds. Had to jump a curb & snake through cars & trucks in the parking lot to get it out. No blankets or hand truck as I ordered.

Rented uhual for son moving to Austin. He returned unit after hours and followed all procedures to do so. I called in the AM to follow up as I had not received receipt or confirmation. They acted too busy to help, then acted like they could not find the truck. The third time I gave then truck id# they locked it. Still no receipt. 2 days later a uhaul rep calls asking where truck was. The facility had never listed it as returned.

The location was closed during normal business hours on a Saturday and it took 15 minutes on a phone trying to get the truck. The cab and truck had not been cleaned and I ordered two dozens pads which were not on the truck. I had to pick up the pads at a different U-Haul location which took extra time and caused delays with the scheduled loading crew. As I was pulling away from the rental location, another customer had just pulled up to the closed location.

Uhaul was in an impossible position, in some grass behind the building. I looked at the guy wondering if I was expected to maneuver this he said “yeah I dunno”.. had to back out around 3 other trucks and around a trailer that were in the way and over a curb in a 8 point turn. They should really pull em out for you when you have an appointment. I had to put it back in this spot too, not too fun.

Schedule pickup at Uhaul dealer that is open not a closed service station that was not. Had to call for instructions to get key, told find and load 2 wheeler then Had to stop at another location to get pads. Busy road, very noisy and raining.

The front counter clerk didn't seem like he knew what he was doing, and was having me talk to his supervisor to check out my Uhaul instead of doing it himself. Checkout felt very strange.

This location charged me for safe move coverage at time of pickup without my knowledge. I reserved the truck rental over the phone through UHaul direct and declined safe move at that time. This third party location swindled me out of the $30 without asking if I wanted to opt for the coverage.

personally the men that work there don't seem like they're fully committed to their great value of representing U-Haul also they are very unorganized they leave the pickup was scheduled for a Saturday and we went there at 12:00 you know expecting to get a U-Haul when we check it out and then we go to the coupons not only mentioned that we were out there waiting this morning together it was kind of like give us customer service so I went back to the next day so not only was the key not in the key box it comes out and ignorant individual this is why I said they don't take your bissness whole heartedness. Now if I was you as a business name I would take a highly offensive because it's like you know you guys have to live up to your name and they're not living it up to definitely your whole name correctly because they basically do everything that is showing and disconcern mentioned for a customer and everything now I might seem a little harsh but it's just the way I felt I'm going to express myself the whole way now you guys as a company I had to call you guys and get everything taken out like they didn't want to help me with nothing like that's not something he should be beneficial for you too because you guys are going to have to save a lot of trouble t you know angry customers tell you know every 7 of there friends pleasee use of but I just want this survey people to know that U-Haul is the company the where I would call in 800 number they took good care of me excellent service and without them this wouldn't be an excellent service whatsoever so just know that you guys save the situation but you guys got this company out there not listening not following rules procedures obviously so just letting you know give yourself a good day have yourself a good day

I reserved on line. When I went to pick up the truck no one was there. There was no hiding place for the key. Keys were in the office which was locked which no one was there. The truck was also blocked in by another vehicle. Finally tracked down the guy to come and take carte of everything. Truck was on empty. Display said I had 49 miles left in tank. I have rented with you before and I never had an empty gas tank to start with. (my schedule messed up already. When I get to my storage unit and open the door there is no dolly which I had reserved also. (Just a bad experience.).
