Very nice and patient man. The U-Haul system really had one of his arms tied behind his back. Too bad.

I picked up the trailer in East Wenatchee. I met my cousin from Michigan in Billings. They took possession of the trailer from Billings to Michigan. This seems very simple but it seemed to be very difficult within the U-Haul system.

If I rented a two-axle trailer I would have been charged $456 just because there were already too many in Missoula. That is nuts. You don't penalize the customer because you have too many trailers in a town. That is YOUR problem. Upon arrival to Clark Fork Storage, I was told that that statement was not true. That makes it a scam. I was also told that if I deliver my rented trailer early I might get a discount, NOT TRUE.

My nephew was returning the trailer for me because I had to work. He was sent to another town and was sent back from that location. The receiving person was looking at an invoice from Dec of 2017 for a return location. He cost us time and money by his lack of attention.

Overhaul the Uhaul mobile app. I attempted to use it to return the AT on Sunday. After several frustrating efforts, I gave up and called the regional office. All of the personnel I dealt with were very pleasant and helpful.

Trailer safety chains were unsafe and needed replacement. Have pictures to provethis, and my observation was confirmed when I dropped off the trailer near my destination. Chains would not even attach properly to my tow vehicle. When I told the location this was an issue, the response I received was, “well you bought the insurance so if the trailer is wrecked you’re ok.” I used different tow hooks to make it somewhat safe. Worker at pick up location did not show hookup, verify brake lights worked, nothing. These are SAFETY issues and the service was unacceptable. Trailer was dirty when I picked it up and I had to clean it. There is a sign saying I would be charged if I returned the trailer dirty. I feel I should receive compensation in the form of partial return for all of these issues in service.

We dropped the keys off on the 26’ truck on Sunday when they were closed, but they got the truck promptly checked in after they opened on Monday morning. Thank you!
