I'm not sure about what you can do to improve for your next customer but I myself who has dealt with you guys for years would appreciate not being sent to the 3rd party dealers and would like to only deal with a actual Uhaul location if there is a next time!! Because that check cashing place was NOT IT!!

The truck I got smelled like cigarettes smoke. I had to put my mask on the entire time I was driving the truck. Also, the back of the truck was so dirty that I had to get a broom to sweep out the dirt. The only positive experience I had was with the representative. She was very nice and answered my questions. I won't coming back to this location.

Truck wasn't clean, but it wasn't filthy. It had a hole in the plastic on the inside Driver's side & the Glovebox has melted plastic like it had been burned/caught on Fire.

Location very run down and sketchy looking. The man at the front charged me an extra 7 dollars because he said the gas wasn't where it needed to be when I filled it to the exact line and drove 1 mile from the gas station to the return location. Would not recommend this place to anyone, and if you on going alone I wouldn't do that as it doesn't seem safe.

Horrible experience! Charged incorrect amount , drove 2 hours there and back to get there they didn't leave keys for truck. Had to spend 5 hours on phone trying to get corrected was even given a case number and advised it would be taken care of still not resolved. Was told rates would be honored because they had to change my pickup location but of course manager tells me at location nothing he could do due to their erriors. I'm just done with U-haul right about now! Will never use their service again!

I was guaranteed a 17 foot truck through reservation. When I arrived the morning of on the exact time reserved, they advised me they did have the truck and there was not another facility in the area that had one either. I was offered a 15 foot truck that I accepted because I had to have a truck. The truck smelled like cigarette and the AC did NOT work (during a movie in the dead of an NC Summer). I had to make two trips because of this inconvenience which DOUBLED my mileage. Before returning the truck EARLY, I called customer service to let them know what had happened and they advised me that they would note that I would get the $50 reservation guarantee credited to the bill along with a discount for the mileage. When I arrived at the facility to return the equipment, they did not acknowledge or even care of the issues that I had that day. The exact response that I received to me advising that the AC did not work was "Oh Ok". And they advised that they were going to charge my card the full amount owed, which I did not let them do!!!!! This is unacceptable that these non professional ghetto spots have the opportunity to represent the Uhaul brand. I would have NEVER chose to rent from this location. My original requested location was 716 Capital Blvd which I had a previous great experience with. They called me the day i made my reservation and advised me that they would not have a 17 ft truck available and changed the location to 2510 S Wilmington St. If I had of know that I would end up with a 15 ft truck anyway I would have rented from the 716 Capital Blvd location. I am very dissatisfied that despite the horrific challenges that I faced that day I am STILL being charged full price and the likely hood of me using Uhaul going forward is slim to none.

Truck was dirty and had items left in the truck that belonged to the previous customer. I was supposed to be able to pick up the truck using uhaul 24/7 but I was forced to go into the store where no one was wearing a mask except me. They then upgraded me to a 15 foot truck instead of a 10 so I wound up paying more for gas.

My original reservation was with Storage King, 315 Hubert Street. No One was there at the time of my pick up! The office was supposed to be open, no-one was there! They had a sign on the door indicating someone would be back in 20 minutes, Stupid me - I waited - no one returned. After calling the main number to Uhaul they switched my reservation to "ASK Checking". The truck's AC did not work, the people behind the bullet proof windows (yes - that type of place) were indifferent. NEVER AGAIN will I use Uhaul.

My uhaul was disgusting. It has an old pizza crust stuck in the dash. The uhaul I ordered was an 17 foot and they didn't have that, so I had to settle for an 15 foot. It was a terrible experience. But the lady that helped me was really nice.

They rented me a truck but didn't tell me when it was to be returned. I thought it was a 24 hour rental and they wrote it for 9pm that night. And then charged me for a second day. This place is shady and the manager was rude

I had made reservations to complete a one-way use of the truck. However the reservation/order was not entered into the system. I had two phone calls from two different store agents inquiring the status regarding returning the truck which was a one-way reservation.

The system was down when I went to go pick up the truck, which was not their problem. But when they ran my card for $72, they said that my card was declined when I have enough money on my account and then had me pay $100 in cash and did not receive the $28 back at the end and said they didn't have a receipt for me.

I returned my one way trailer rental to this location the morning of 4/27/20. I called today, 4/28/30 at 7:00 pm because it still showed on rent. They told me they couldn't look me up in the system to see if I returned it. Very shady place and UHaul should not be associated with this type of operation. It's returned only because I said I'll call the territory sales rep.

The truck was somewhat dirty, smelled like cigarettes/cigars, ashes in the ash tray and the Check engine light was on. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience. Luckily I didn't have to go far and it was a somewhat nice day to be able to roll down the windows. Very nice people running the location, just kinda dirty truck in the cab.

The online price during reservation was different than the one offered during pickup. The customer service was horrible and unhelpful. No idea why the online booking price was different than the one during pickup. Deceiving customers is not the best practice especially during this age of new competitors.

I was pretty unhappy when I left so that is tainting my comments. I drove 13 miles total. I put 2 gallons in the tank. I drove less than 1 mile to the store. I was charged over $10 more because I 'didn't put gas in the truck.' I was told to go to the gas station and put gas in the truck if I didn't want to pay the $10+. I further rented blankets which I did not use. The bag was not even opened. The attendant refused to give me the $5 credit. So no, I would not recommend this location, nor will I use it again.

The costumer service was great but the truck was filthy. Someone had used the passenger side floor for an ashtray and there was mud on the inside front and the back of the truck. I had to clean it out before I could even load my stuff in it. The gas light was also on so I had to go directly to the gas station. However like I said first the lady at the service desk was very friendly and helpful. And when I called to extend my time they were also very helpful and friendly. Overall it was a good experience with the exception of the dirty truck.

There was a wet moving blanket in the cab, the ramp was so rusted it wouldn't even open, there was cigarette ashes filled in the cup holder, there were cigarette ashes on the dash and laying on the AC vents-- it was THE WORST Uhual experience I have ever had.

The owner of this location implied to me and the two customers before me (as we were returning the trucks) that we had all hit something and scratched the vehicles. He was essentially trying to scam us back to back and it was quite obvious. When I demanded a paper receipt before leaving there were no accident charges on the document but I am quite certain he is tacking on those charges to anyone who does not purchase the insurance or stand their ground.

The staff at this location was very helpful and accommodating. I was at the wrong drop-off location and the very friendly woman working the counter was able to change the drop-off to this location without incurring additional charges. I'm from Kansas City and was making a one-way trip for my son and daughter-in-law to Raleigh, NC. If I had friends in the area, I would recommend this location.

I was given a truck with the check engine light on. I reported it and was told it would be okay to drive. I requested and was granted another truck, but the process was long. This is a check cashing/ thrift store that rents Uhauls.
