The back of the U-Haul was absolutely disgusting when we picked it up. There was so much mud, leaves, dirt and grime caked on the floor.... we mopped over and over and it still was so dirty we had to put a tarp down before we put our things in it. We spent a good 2.5/3 hours just cleaning the U-Haul. We had to purchase another day because we couldn't get movers once we drove 4 hours to our new home (because it was after 4pm). Will never ever use U-Haul again. During a time when covid, when you really need things to be clean, U-Haul seriously dropped the ball.JOSHUA W.
I would never recommend the Lexington location i rented uhaul 11/30/2020 put gas back and returned on 12/1/2020 i paid $296 didn't receive deposit back then uhaul charged me again yesterday for $129.74 in which highly unacceptable also unauthorized. On the Uhaul website, please list door opening dimension along with cargo trailer size. I had a 4 wheeler that was 42" wide. I rented a 4 x 8 hauler but the door opening was only 40". I was able to upgrade just fine with this company but it caused extra time and paperwork for them.MICHAEL M.

My poor review has nothing to do with the location itself. The U Haul company itself was misleading, my bill was over double what I was quoted, there was no dolly which I reserved and my movers then spent more than double the amount of time (I'm paying hourly of course) when if U Haul told me they had no dolly I would have brought my own!JOHNALAN I.

Our original drop off location was Fast Stop located at 1392 Trent Cir # 1, Lexington, KY 40517. I showed up, and the entire lot was full and could not take our Uhaul in. They told us to go to U-Haul Moving & Storage of Lexington located at 1200 E New Circle Rd, Lexington, KY 40505. By the time we arrived, it was almost closing time and they also told us that they didn't have room for the Uhaul truck. They then gave us a 1-800 number to call and to drop the truck off at Ashley's Wheel & Brake Service. It was after 5pm and they were closed when we arrived. We called the 1-800 number and waited 30 minutes before someone answered. We were then able to full check-in the truck over the phone and go home for the night after spending over an hour longer than necessary to drop off the truck.Stephen W.

They were great - MY BIG PROBLEM was this was not supposed to be my drop off location. I went to the drop-off location in my contract an d they. said they couldn't take any more trailers and said I had to call the 1-800 number to get another location. I was on hold for about 45 minutes. That part did not make me happy.JAMES S.

The experience at Ashley's was excellent. The national reservations system was not good. Very long hold times and then my reservation time was changed to a time I could not use without consulting me. After that I called back in and after an even longer hold was told the auto transport was actually available at the time I originally wanted. The people who answered my two calls were fine and did a good job, but the wait times were really long and there was absolutely no reason fro my reservation time to be changed.CHARLES H.

Easy drop off. We drove in, my husband got direction from one person on where to park it, and I went in to get someone from the store, who took it off the car and told us we could go. Everyone wore their masks and it was a good experience overall.Nielsen C.
Ordered 10 bundles of moving pads 2 days ahead of time and when I went to pick up the truck the CSR said "did you need moving pads? You'll have to go to the center down town to pick those up" pretty disappointing. I asked that he refund the money i spent on the moving pads. I have not seen it yet.PATRICK F.

The 26' Truck was a wreck, the front end & tires need repaired or replaced. I drove from Lexington KY to Philadelphia PA and i was nervous and scared the whole way. I didnt know if the front end was going to come out from under the truck or not. I thought the left front wheel would fall off any second. very disappointed in equipment.Barry T.

The location was fine truck in bad shape. Online check in I will never do again and if asked to I will go somewhere else. Not worth my time or money. No dolly was included to which I did call about. And it took over an hour and 5representatives to even get the truck as the email I provided over the phone when I reserved was input and spelled incorrectly when they set up my account and reservation for me. If ever asked to go somewhere else I will hire a moving crew and company before I will do mobile check in at the uhaul ever again.kirsten H.
