The outside of the trailer needed washing. He said it was not his responsibility. Took pictures and showed the uhaul people in Tucson so I would not be charged In side clean. Guy at pick up was great!

Chris at Ascent Automotive was excellent. His followed through on my rental Van even when Corporate cancelled my reservation to put several other renters in front of me. I had held my rental until a day later due to horrid winter weather in the area. Chris was great, while the corporate Uhaul experience was a nightmare!! I would deal with Chris many times over but the Corporate side of Uhaul needs a major overhaul.....from the beginning of my experience to the end.

The vehicles should be rated as either smoking or non-smoking. We are not smokers and this one had just been smoked in, by the smell and the look of the ashtrays. The mirrors do not easily adjust. 1200 miles craning my neck to look out the passenger side mirror was tedious. Cruise control. I realize that a full truck with cruise control are not compatible all the time. But if your driving in Kansas for 8 hours it would have been helpful as the gas pedal was not comfortable at all for someone 6’2”.

Christ was outstanding to deal with. The problems he/we had was with the U-Haul IT system which would not allow Christ to secure our rental a couple of days before pickup day. After we finally decided to redo the rental through Christ, (cancelling our old order) I received a note that we should pick up the truck etc. at a location far from where we were. I believe you need to overhaul your system.

The lockbox was frozen such that the dials didn't turn and the lock wouldn't open. It took at least 30 minutes in the freezing weather to get to the key.

Honor your commitment and make arrangements when you screw up to make it right. To not admit fault, apologize, and discount the rental as a result of the mistake left s very bad taste in my mouth regarding the company.

Chris is a great agent for U-Haul. He saw That the right rear led light on the trailer was dysfunctional. Replaced the light unit on his own dime, so I could get on the road as planned. Great job Asent Automotive, and Chris.

This was not the original pick up location that we selected during the reservation process. In fact, this location was 1 1/2 hours away from our home (one way). This was conveyed to me via voicemail two days before the scheduled pick up. I found this to be incredible unacceptable being that I had place the reservation +/-1 month in advance and it was a huge inconvenience on top of preparing to move cross country. The pick up location itself was very nice and accommodating.

Chris is great. Uhaul as a company needs to improve their scheduling and logistics. The customer always suffers, every time.

This U-Haul location doesn’t stand a fighting chance. The franchisee is also the owner of a very profitable, extraordinarily busy repair shop. He spends a ton of time fighting with outdated, unnecessarily complex U-Haul computer systems, a constant stream of walk-ins wanting service and/or a U-Haul, frustrated no doubt by the fact that his income is about 90/10 driven by the workshop. He didn’t have the trailer we had ordered on-line, an order that U-Haul confirmed in writing. The nearest alternative U-Haul was 40 miles away, in the opposite direction from our moving point. Blind luck stepped in; a similar trailer. which had been promised to another customer the next day, arrived two hours later at the workshop. Pity the guy tomorrow. Either upgrade the location with a different franchisee structure that can serve your customers properly, or start looking at the margins allocated to your locations — give them an incentive to serve your customers properly. And, while your at it, put a new franchise in Silverthorne, CO, where ALL the growth in Summit County is occurring.

Made a reservation 7 days in advance. Didn't received a confirmation. They didn't have the equipment.

Reservation for type and location of equipment changed several times in a four day span. Originally made res for 20 ft truck in Avon,CO area. Two days prior to scheduled pickup was advised that this equipment was not available so changed to smaller truck plus trailer at same location. Upon arrival in Denver was advised by phone rep that a 20 foot truck was available in Leadville,CO (approx 90 mile out of the way from original pickup point).Went to Leadville only to find that truck was locked! Failure of the Leadville franchisee. Contacted phone rep who worked diligently to finally find us a 20 foot truck back at our original pickup point,Avon,CO.The franchisee waited for us to make the drive from Leadville,CO and was very cordial and helpful.Approximately 200 miles into our 1500 mile journey the muffler separated from the tail pipe setting up a very ,very loud noise right underneath the cab and continued for the duration. Made the drop off station in Memphis aware of the situation.Other than those two MAJOR problems the trip went flawlessly! Should I be compensated for these? I think so.

We were charged additional money for extra miles, but the only reason these extra miles were driven was because uhaul changed our drop off location to a location that was over 30 miles away from the location we were supposed to be dropping the truck off, so not only were we charged for these extra miles, but also had to drive our own vehicle over 60 miles to get it there and spend close to 2 hours of our time since we had to travel over a windy mountain pass that a uhaul truck cannot travel over very easily.

The owner at the location was very helpful and I had a good experience. However the U-Haul website is terrible. The user interface is difficult to navigate and time consuming. I’ll never use it again. I will just call locations directly.

Hard working folks got the trailer ready pretty quick. Only place in the are. Had to drive 40 minutes to get there. Should be one in Silverthorne CO.

They were closed entire time of my unload - never saw a representative. You had a lot of equipment parked - not rented. Couldn’t one employee cover for vacation/holiday period? I hope no one stole my returned blankets or backed into the truck.

I reserved a 20' truck and paid the price for a 20' truck and when we arrive in Avon I received a 15' truck due to that is what they had, but the price remained the same, I questioned that and they stated its the taxes and fees. No, I was overcharged and it would be nice to know I was not getting the truck i reserved. I had to do 2 moves and extra cost for 2 different movers cost. Not happy with Uhaul!!!!!

Ascent Automotive does a great job of running their U-haul operation out of Eagle-Vail, Colorado. Great customer service!

We got the truck home to start packing and noticed the truck was leaking fluid. Had to call roadside assist. It was brake fluid, so we had to fine another truck, pick it up, etc. We lost an entire day dealing with this in our move across country. The one thing I CAN say is Ascent was 1000% better than where we dropped it off in MN...

My pick up location told me I could drop the truck off at one location by a certain time which I busted my back side to get it there with the proper amount of fuel, then uhaul called me saying they were going to tow it because it wasn't a drop off location and that I had to come get the truck and take it 50 minutes away to another location or they were going to charge me for towing and late fees. So I picked it up and took it where they said but when I arrived there was no one around and I couldn't refuel because the rental, the move and having to take it to a different location took every penny I had. So i dropped the key in a drop box because i wasn't waiting for someone to show up. This also caused the truck to be some 50+ extra miles than agreed upon after i originally dropped it where i was first told to do so. VERY UNHAPPY, FRUSTRATED AND WILL NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN.

Your fee set up is unfair. I used a trailer for two days but had to be charged a set fee, no matter if I used it or not. Also your one way fees should not be more than the rental on the trailer. 229 dollars was my cost. I used it for two days. Your advertising is misleading at best. A 30 dollar trailer cost me 229. Unethical and crooked.
