Location was farther then the closes UHaul place not sure why had to drive so far to drop off. Clerk was in back had someone come up front that was not employee and say just leave key at desk. Never talked to anyone from uhaul.MICHAEL C.
Large dogs roaming around on property upon return. I had an issue with the lock which was not addressed. Office door was wide open with many people working on vehicles in back of shop. I had to go to their workshop before anyone acknowledged me and then was yelled at that they are closed and throw the keys on the counter. Not a very professionally business. Also had to switch trucks when I got their because they had the locks messed up, which also caused a delay.joseph Y.

The man who claims to be the â€œownerâ€ was rude and aggressive on the phone. I had a question and he stated â€œIf you would shut up I would answer your question.â€ I was in shock and told him that was very rude and he hung up on me. I called back to speak to a manger and it was a women who was equally as rude. I was charged $20 for dropping the uhaul off 12 hours early. I would suggest no one ever uses this location. I have never been spoke to so rudely and aggressively.Cassie S.

Very hard to find. There is no signage at their gravel road entrance, the attendant wasn't available at check out to discuss the bill, and we ordered and paid for an appliance dolly that was not in the truck at pick up. Attendant at pick up was very friendly.Josua R.

Asa UHaul in Festus is the worst UHaul I've ever used. The man lives on a trailer, on the site and was over an hour late to his own business. His answering machine message is so obnoxious and offers no help. Many people own businesses and get sick. The way he handled this was awful. We've owned our own business for many years and we're younger than this man but much more mature. When people depend on you and prepay for a product or service it's your job to get it done. The truck also had 70k miles more than the CS lady had recorded. Suspicious. Take that as you will. A man apparently his dad showed up asking us personal info. He was not an employee. This is/was not ok. The truck speed was off, it registered 5 miles different than actual speed. Coming from a mechanic driving the truck, we are sure there's other issues with the truck.MICHELLE B.
My first location didn't have the equipment I needed so the lady on the phone switched locations. I drive an hour to get it and she failed to mention he leases the trailer and it has to be returned there. Wasted hours of driving and tons of fuel because she sucks at her job. A disgrace to the uhaul brand. Left a couple of cups in cup holders then realized after dropping the key. Charged $30. Gates were locked when I arrived mid afternoon. Again charged for after hours dropped. Called, and some backwoods guy yells â€œfirst off I'm not your trash manâ€. There are better ways to address customers. Maintain professionalism. I would never do business with this location again. The money is not the issue. While no one wants to be hustled and price gouged, especially during a pandemic, everyoneâ€"EVERYONE should expect to be treated with respect. Uhaul should watch who you give franchise rights too. I'm hoping it wasn't the owner because the person on the phone was straight out of deliverance â€"queue the banjosTIMOTHY A.

Asa charged $12 for 5 gallons of fuel. I returned truck with a couple of gallons more than when I rented truck. I do not intend to pay the $12. I will notify visa if $12 not removed from total bill. Also I spent 1 hour trying to get resolved over phone with no success.George R.

I cannot express enough the professionalism,hospitality,and patience that Scott ( Rookie ), from ASA showed me. He made sure that from the time I arrived into his shop, to the time I left, that I fully understood everything and answered all of my questions comfortably. Uhaul was in contact with me( via email and text) before I walked out of ASA's location. Uhaul gave me pointers on pick up and drop off. Very friendly, easy to deal with, no hassle business. It really was a great experience. Due to the Covid 19, Rookie from ASA and Uhaul, made it safe and convenient with the correspondence through my electronic devices. I can't say enough about these companies. Thanks again Rookie and Uhaul. I will definitely be back and would recommend anyonemark M.

When picking up trailer lady in office was great! But returning couldn't raise anybody In office. A man finally came in and I told I was bring trailer back and he said okay just dump it off. I ask him if I couldn't have some help and he said oh he guess so he send one of the girls out. It was kinda like I was a pain in his ass.Sonya W.

Location was closed (and gate was locked) until 5 minutes after my pickup time. I had to do most of the trailer hookup myself because the staff couldn't release the trailer brake or attach the trailer to my hitch, forgot to attach electric, so I ended up doing those things myself. Staff wasn't knowledgable about the online booking process and was asking for things like a credit card that I had already entered online. Pickup location is also just a gravel yard, which was unclear during booking. I have a lifted SUV, so it was fine, but if I was in a regular car it would be a bit of a problem.Ryan G.
Minimize the cussing on the phone and in person. We love dogs, but the puppies claws are sharp and scratched the back of my legs a couple times. The lady was awesome. The gentlemen at pickup and drop off (two different guys) had potty mouths. I would prefer not to hear the cuss words.Gary W.
