There was no one at this location during the stated open hours nor was the listed number for the business in service. There was no drop box to place the key in therefore I was instructed to place my rented dolly in the cab of the truck and place the keys above the visor. I could not lock the door as a result and truly feared that the truck could be taken in such a rural area.

Nobody was there and all the contact numbers posted are not working. Total disaster. Didn't get into my rental until 1hr 23 mins later. Lost 125.00 because movers left. Very upset.

The owner was the best. He went beyond to get the job done. Just make sure the uhaul computer system is working. It wasnt his fault.

Update uhaul database to reflect actual hours of operation. I had to take pics of truck parked at location and put keys under seat. This put me at risk of liability had someone come on site and used the truck etc.

I picked up the equipment in Chesapeake, VA and wanted to drop off in Beaufort, SC. There are about 6 UHaul locations in the city and I'm told that I have to drop off near Savannah, GA or Yemasse, SC. Both of which is over 30 miles from my destination. This is not convenient for the user but convenient for the company. Essentially, the customer is being used to drop off equipment at your preferred location instead of the company moving and managing the equipment location. It has not always been like that, I've been renting equipment for 30 years from Uhaul.

We were running late and called uhaul to let them know, they did not notify the business and when we arrived it was closed. After getting in touch with the owner we were told it would be an hour before he could get back. This was not acceptable as we called to let him know the time we would arrive. Owner was a nice person.

instead of just looking at the gas gauge use the function that gives you the # of miles to empty that would give the renter a better idea of how much gas they need to leave in the vehicle

Owner was "on medical leave" or something. I met his brother in law in the parking lot. No paperwork was issued and nothing signed. He did help me attach trailer to vehicle. Poor location. Difficult to find.

Uhaul customer service itself was rude, and extremely unhelpful. I was hung up on by someone while trying to get assistance. I was never notified of location changes, equipment unavailability, or time changes.
