No issues with the pick up location - Faye was very accommodating and allowed me to pick truck up prior to the store opening. The issue was with the actual truck; upon unpacking rug and boxes near the wheel wells, we noticed they were all wet or damp. Apparently, water came into the truck while driving in the rain; had to throw out a $400 rug. As far as the return, the individual I spoke to at Cubby Hole in Shreveport informed me they wouldn’t charge me for any extra day due to the fact we needed to have it till closing. The day after I returned the truck, they immediately charged me for the extra day. I don’t mind paying for the extra day but when I’m told I won’t be charged and then the opposite happens-not good business.

I think the .79 cents a mile is a little excessive when you can rent from other for cheaper. The only reason I went with uhaul is because I was in a bind. I probably will never use uhaul again.

I called the drop off location to inform them that I dropped off the U-Haul a day early. And to let them know that I would pick up my cash deposit later in the week when my work schedule permitted. They sent back a text that said f*** you and proceeded to go on from that not even listening to the message I left and assuming I was someone else that was trying to sell them something. I have never in my life seen this poor of customer service and I got back a email from the drop-off location after reporting us saying that they would get a Stern talking-to by the district manager. This is unacceptable in a world with social media the way it is I can't believe that this happened at all. I still do have the text and would like to speak to someone in corporate at U-Haul. We ordered a truck and a furniture dolly. The truck was there but they did not have a furniture dolly, so I had to do without. Also, the truck was nearly out of gas so I had to stop a block from the location to fill up.

I was told that I needed to pick this truck up at 11:00 am on a Thursday morning. Since I was at work and couldn't leave until my lunch break I called and left a message saying that it would b after 12. When I get to the u haul place (which was out of town from where I lived/worked), the lady wasn't there. So I had to come back (that's two trips) after I got off from work that afternoon after 5. Thinking that I had to get it at 11 that morning, I had people coming around 1 to start loading the truck. Well since I didn't get to get the truck, I had to call everyone that was suppose to help that afternoon and reschedule with them. I was over it before it started ??
