The truck is really dirty, mud covers all area around where we placed foot, I have no idea how the last customer did to the truck, I cleaned as much as I can, even the seat and wheel are dirty.

1) I was told the wrong pickup location 2) No one called me to confirm 3) At the actual pickup location, it took a long time and a lot of waiting inside before I could actually access the truck as there was a combo lock I didn't have the combo to because I could never finish the check-in process. 4) 5 hours later, I still haven't received the verification code I needed to complete it. 5) U-Haul's app and site are both disgraceful. 6) I waited on hold a long time before being able to speak to a representative. Too long. 7) I ended up starting the moving process an hour and a half after I had planned. Only one thing to praise about is the discount I received for my trouble. Thank you, scheduling manager.

I had the worst time trying to use the mobile app to checkout. I returned the truck @ 12:20pm yesterday. I couldn't checkout via mobile app nor by calling. I was put on hold and no one came back on the line. Very dissatisfied!

I paid for furniture pads and a dollie and they were not provided, which resulted in me having to rent a dollie from Home Depot. Please let me know how to get a refund for the amount I was charged for these items.

My main complaint was with U Haul that I made the original reservation with. First I had asked for a 10 foot truck and when I went to the location they had a van. Looking at my confirmation email that is what was booked. The original location was in Arcadia at Sleeping on Clouds. When I arrived there at 10 there was no one there. I had to call x 2 to find what when someone would be there. Meanwhile I had movers waiting for me which I was paying for by the hour. The guy finally got there at 1020 am. I had been waiting 30 minutes by then as I got there 10 minutes ahead of 10 and did express check in to hurry the process. This did not happen. The Sleeping on Clouds guy called Arcadia smog & repair and they had a 10 foot truck. I then had to run down the street to the other location to get the truck. There was no one at the desk and I found a guy & he did help me. The truck did not have a ramp so the dolly that I paid for was useless. I am hoping to get reimbursed for that dolly if possible. When I made the reservation no one told me that the dolly would not work on this truck as there was no ramp. Overall I was pretty unsatisfied with the U Haul experience. I would not recommend U Haul but the Arcadia Smog & Repair guy was nice and helpful and tried to expedite my order. I also asked when I made the reservation if this was the closest location to my zipcode and I was told yes. That is not the case at all now that I see all the different U Haul sites. One on Foothill Blvd. in Arcadia was much closer to my house and I would have had much less mileage. So for my $19.95 rental I paid almost $70.

Sales representative could not speak English very well. I ordered and prepaid online and denied any additional coverage. When I got to the location I was told i had to pay an extra $15 for safe drive. I explained I denied the coverage and was told he didn't know how to remove it so if I wanted the truck i had to pay. The truck was filthy and I couldn't see out of the windshield. I had to clean it myself before I could even drive it. Extremely poor service and would not rent from again. VERY DISSATISFIED.

Don't bother. For some reason uhaul sent me 10 miles away from my original pick up place so that was more money on gas. They never gave me the code for the self check in so I had to wait half an hour until they opened so I had people waiting for me. And because I had to get the keys from an employee there it said I stole the truck even though I had no way of checking in on the app they wanted me to use.

then had oil all over, the location person was nice and gave me extra blanket fro the floor, but the ramp was soaked in oil. i had my mattress ruined and me and my friend almost slipped.

Drop off signage is confusing- made it seem that you MUST GO to website- yet you didn't. Wasted a bunch of time waiting for special ‘code' to be accepted and after 4 times, I gave up and just dropped the keys into the lock box!

We picked up the wrong time to pick up the truck. 9am. Everyone at that location was already busy and the office already had a lot of commotion going on at that time. It took a while to finish the paperwork even though I already completed the express check in. Person who handled our matter was helpful and friendly.

It was very difficult to retrieve the key from the lock. After entering the passcode, the lock wouldn't open. Definitely frustrating, after many tries and many attempts to pry the key box open it finally opened although it shouldn't be that difficult and require that much strength.

It was 2 pickups scheduled for 10 AM. First customer had some kind of issue with her order. I had to wait for almost 30 minutes until customer rep started to work on my order. It would be a good idea for the customer rep to let people in line know their order will be process in 30 minutes.

Getting a moving truck with less than 1/4 tank of gas is a pain in the ass ... it requires me to stop first and put gas in the truck and then do it again at the end of the day.... waste of my time.

U-haul needs to confirm drop off location. Once again, I had to call U-Haul to confirm the drop off location and hours of operation. Figuring out the time and location of where to during off a truck WHILE moving is not ideal.

When we picked up the truck, we noticed that the mileage on the truck did not match the contract. The gentleman that helped us made a handwritten note, correcting the mileage on our contract, but apparently did not correct it in the u-haul system. As a result, we have been charged for mileage that we never used.

The car smelled strongly of smoke, and the air conditioning system had a fault so that it couldn't blow air out of the vents facing the driver or passenger. The rest of the truck was fine. Nothing to do with the location, but the automatic reservation system tried to give me three different vehicles at two different locations. Very strange.

No one came to me, both in and out, had to walk around to find someone to help. Told them I was only going less than 10 miles round trip. Truck had about 1/8 tank of gas and they asked that I put gas in it. Asked if I could leave my car on site as I would only be gone less than an hour, was told no. Park in the street at my own risk. Not a good area, so had to make other arraignments. This service is not what they do and it was obvious.
