The customer service was adequate. It's the company U-Haul in general that I will not recommend due to the poor technical support provided to staff. I visited three different locations because dispatch operators had listed these locations as having the equipment I needed for my move. Yet when I arrived at said locations, they did not have the equipment that was listed in inventory. Terrible overall experience. The U-Haul Chief Technical Officer should be fired and replaced with someone more competent in connecting systems in real time with consistent communications throughout. What should have taken an afternoon, took an entire day of frustrating running around. I will not recommend U-Haul to any of my friends.

The location itself as well as the employee working were fantastic. The online process and the lack of clarity on U-Haul's part was lacking to say best. I was allowed to book a 7am pickup for a place that doesn't open until 9am. I had to push my move back two hours forcing me to lose my reservation for the service elevator at my new place. The online check in was extremely slow and i couldnt do any of it until the location opened at 9am. The whole 24/7 marketing is completely lost on me as that was far from what I experienced.

My online reservation included two dollies but they weren't at the location when I went to pick them up. However, the staff was helpful in calling a nearby location to see if they had two dollies.

The vehicle had no air! I and my pet nearly died the entire trip stopping constantly to poor water over both of us! Unbelievable!!!! No cold air for 7 hours across the desert & the next day in CA. I have rented nearly 3000.00 this year in trucks from you. I will never rent again & never advise anyone else too! I will rent from Penscke!

Overall the service was good. What was disappointing was the vehicle we were “guaranteed” on the website was not available. We were able to get a different vehicle, at the same rate due to the mix up, and were still able to accomplish the task at hand, albeit with a much longer initial process to get the rental figured out.

Possibly have some more parking spots because I imagine if it gets really busy people will not be able to find parking, especially because the restaurant next door "claimed" all the spots available.

Make sure the truck beds are cleaned. If UHAUL charges a service fee to the customer for returning the truck dirty and/or not swept clean then UHAUL should actually handle that service. I received my truck with dirt, food, spilled sauces and tape/glue in the bed. I had to use my own leaf blower and wet mop to clean it out. When such simple customer service concerns are brought up at the counter the employees should be empowered to handle it for the customer then and there. To dismissively direct customers to call an 800 number that has a 20-30 minute average wait time, do additional work by submitting an online dispute or by email and to then have to wait 2-3 days for a response is not satisfactory at all. Also, please put some cameras on your trucks. It's 2021, these things are cheap to install. If a sub-compact Nissan Versa comes standard with a back-up camera there's no reason a 26' F750 Ford Truck should not have one. Not everyone travels with a personal traffic controller. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Truck was covered in dirt, road grime and bug splatters. Check out person not knowledgeable on how to adjust side mirrors. She tried to tell me they aren't adjustable on 15 foot trucks when in fact they are. She tried to give me an appliance dolly instead of the utility dolly. Also I was told I was getting new moving pads by the salesman at the covina branch where he informed me that U-Haul didn't rent moving pads for one way trips so I would have to purchase them and keep them. When I picked up the truck I was given used, dirty moving pads.

UHaul, in general, needs to fix internet accessibility issues for their customer service people on the phone and at the rental sites. Much time was spent waiting for system uploads. I needed to input my info three times with the patient clerk at this site before the reservation (which I had completed by phone ahead) could be continued.

The place that I went to had no idea what they were doing, and I had to practically go on his computer and do everything myself. It took an hour for me to just be able to leave with the truck! Not professional at all
