The employees were very friendly and helpful.
Michelle OService was amazing. Me driving 35 miles to pick up truck and dolly wasn't good. No credit given. Just extra miles. The big trucks do use a lot of gas.
STEVEN RRent cars because Uhaul is more reliable, more available, cheaper and a lot less hassle than enterprise or Hertz.

Brian MThere was no 26' truck at our location so we had to drive nearly 10 miles out of way to pickup the truck, which cost extra money! Also, we rented 2 dolly's online but none were available when we picked up the truck…thank goodness the workers' we hired had some.
MARK BCheck your vehicles before renting them out. Drove about 15 to 20 miles and the check engine light came on. This caused poor mileage performance. Called roadside, they couldn't do nothing because the truck was still running good. Customer service said they would let the repair shop know, but never received a call. Ended up driving to my destination 165 later and having to spend more money on gas. Very disappointed.

Donna GAssociate was exceptional. So easy to work with. We had an unexpected event and were not able to use the trailer at all. We picked it up, drove home and returned the next morning. Had we been able to move the furniture it would have been perfect. Great place to rent from!!!

Jerry SMake sure the sales rep/employees know dimensions of equipment. I recently called and enquired about renting a trailer but I needed the interior height to be at least a certain hight. The sales rep told me it was and I would have no problem hauling the cargo I needed. Was close to closing time when I picked up the trailer, got home and found out the trailer wasn't taller enough. Called store, and was told it was my problem once it leaves the lot. I was just stuck with the rental even though It was useless to me.

Donald JPicked up truck on Friday in Cibolo TX, thought I returned it to the correct place on Saturday in Aransas Pass TX. Nobody at location, put keys in drop box as instructed on a sign. Got a call on Sunday from a place across the freeway looking for the truck, told him where I parked it. told me that's the wrong place and he needed it to rent on Monday morning. Nothing I could do at that point. I apologized I didn't know I was in the wrong dealer which are real close to each other. My error. Then I get an emailed receipt on Monday charging me for an extra day of rental. I left the truck with 1/4 tank more fuel than when I picked it up, I left the truck clean. didn't have the truck 24 hours and then got charged for an extra day.

CRYSTAL LI tried numerous times to log in to the U-Haul website to check the vehicle in. We dropped it off quite early. We took photos of the gas and the mileage both before we left and after we returned it. When I received my bill, I was overcharged by almost $11. The statement says we drove 33 mi. We literally drove 18.1 miles and I have pictures to prove it. When I called the location to ask why the discrepancy was there when she checked the vehicle in herself, she was silent. She acted like she didn't know what to say. She finally said there was nothing she could do and that was the Miles she saw. So I am pretty upset. I realize this is only $11 but if your employee is scamming everyone for $10 or more every time someone leases a U-Haul she's making money off of your company.
steven hI had to travel about one hour to get to the drop off location, and on top of that, it was in the totally wrong direction that I needed to go. I called and explained that to the reservation representative and stated that Corpus Christi was on my way and had numerous U-Haul centers. The customer services person basically said I that it was better for the company for me to take the trailer materially out of my way which included waiting in line for a ferry. Unbeliable! Terrible customer service beginning to end! I have been a U-Haul customer for decades, but I am no longer an advocate for the company. Customer service has really deteriorated!

Michael TThe girl that checked me in was super sweet. Even though the computer froze up and she couldn't get me checked in, she was able to call the owner who completed it on his end to get me on the road in time to meet my movers. The only complaint I have is about the gentleman who was in the back office. He came in around 9:15am and didn't say a word. He came across as extremely grumpy and a little dismissive. I had asked him a question about the dollies and it seemed to put him out. I hope this was just an off day, but the vibe in the office gave me the impression that it was a common occurrence. Don't want to get anyone in trouble, but friendly customer service might need to be discussed? Other than that, I was satisfied.

I told him I had no control over how the online stuff populates in the system. He said it was my fault. If he did less prying and just helped me fix it, then the experience would have been much better.

Michael TMake sure that the equipment has proper mileage on paperwork. ****when my wife and I left the rental area I asked her to Wright down mileage of 5795. After we left she look on paperwork it stated mileage of 5783 that's a difference of 13 miles at .69 cents a mile .so when we returned the truck early by 2 hours with mileage of 5866 it should of been 5853 that would been 70 miles at .69cents per mile I talked to staff about it. I asked her to please look to see could there be a mistake in ANYWAY I stood there 15 to 20 waiting to here something. SO she didn't even call the staff a (man) there ! I have money that is the reason it is the( presentable here) . Stanley TWe had a blowout on a trailer tire while carrying the load that was specified. When I called the Aransas Pass location, the old man was grumpy, condescending and implied that it was our fault. I stayed on the phone for 17 minutes asking how to get help because we were on the side of the road. After that length of time, he was still zero help and could not even give me the 1800 number for Uhaul roadside assistance. He never even checked to make sure the trailer was hitched properly but called my husband to say he forgot to check that the trailer was lriperly hitched to the appropriate truck. but had the audacity to ask if he could pleasd take pictures and send them since he forgot to check that. The trailer was hitched properly. I ended up getting a response from the uhaul app in 2 minutes. Absolutely ajole and a disgrace of a ubaul location. Terrible service and they do not take care of the equipment and they do not ensure the safety of their customers. Shut this location down. They are a liability to the national UHaul reputation.

Chano MThe person was really racist and not helpful. He try to charge me extra and was trying to rush and get the transaction close. He took too long to get things done. Also was not professional language. Also make fun of my name which made me feel uncomfortable. Uhaul need to have some preference and young people who can get things done fast.
Syed AThe guy that checked us in was rude and always seemed to have something smart to say. Prices were not explained very well either. I originally had the pick up in Ingleside, bc it was 2.5 miles from my house, but they changed it to Aransas Pass so it was an extra 10 miles. They did give me an upgrade, on size, for the same price but we didn't need it as our storage unit was small. This is our second bad experience with this same guy. Next time I would like to pick up in Ingleside, as requested, without it being changed a day before.

Megan MAmount that was required to be deposited was over $100 more than the online quote. I returned truck in less than 2 hours. The receipt says amount would be refunded to my card, but still has not been.

JOEL PWe said the tires didn't look up to a 1400 mile trip. Said not their problem. They only rented uhauls did not service them. The air pressure of the tires was suppose to be 65 psi they were 45 psi. The latch to hold the door open while loading was either installed wrong or bent so far it was unusable.
