I did a self drop off. Besides the flooding parking lot on a abandoned looking lot, it was fine.

You don't i know it was cheaper in the week days and if the gas was not right you could have let me know not charge 7 gal for more money, It was way to much with hidden charge. Every time I called the price went up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I paid to rent the truck and then I had to wait for the representative to sweep out my truck because she was helping the next customer. I waited outside yo give her a chance to sweep it out like she asked me. Well after awhile I went back in the building and she was selling another rental to Someone else. I interrupted and said mam I paid for my truck already and now I have to wait for you to help someone else when you are not finished with me? But you take my money? She then came outside and cleaned the tru k, but, the truck smelled like cigarettes. It was disgusting inside. The windows needed to be windex and they were dirty. My son was coughing a lot from the cigarettes. Why does U-Haul allow smoking in the trucks? Why aren’t fees given for doing that. I am very disappointed. This the second time in a row I had a terrible experience with U-Haul. FROM NOW ON- I WILL GO TO PENSKE.

Customer service at the location I picked it up was very good. But overall the experience SUCKED!!! I made a reservation two weeks to a week and half for 26 truck at a location that was ten minutes from my house when I made the reservation the guy at this location said I would have to make reservation and the try would be available I was never told that the truck wasn’t available until a few days later I received a text telling me that there was a 26 at a location 20 miles away in a different parish when I complained about and asked why I was told that even though I picked a location I doesn’t mean the truck is available so I asked if someone could bring it to the location I had chosen and was told no that truck belongs to that location so I asked will I still have to pay mileage because that wasn’t where I had wanted to pick it up and was told yes I would be charged mileage so of course I didn’t want to the truck and was going to cancel the reservation and then I was found a truck that was a 20” it was in my parish but was 8 miles away so this morning I passed the place that I had originally order from and I saw a 20” truck at that location which is two to three miles away from my house. So it was more about charging mileage that the convenience of the customer

The lady lied and told the dispatch person that she rented a car carrier local,we told the lady 4 times that we where turning it in in Gulfport, Ms NOT returning it to New Orleans! Then she sent a e-main saying that we violated the rental by not returning it on time! They charged me twice,threatened to charge me $300 more,finally had to get supervisor involved, they still charged me more than I agreed to and I am still waiting for a $25.00 credit they owe, and I still think they should only bill me what the contract stated! It was a bad ordeal!

The clericals at the desk was very friendly,helpful and professional, I was unhappy the air conditioning didn't work in the uhaul truck, I drive a hour and 23 minutes

The whole process was seamless from start to finish and the employee was very professional and helpful.

The pickup location was great, but the central UHaul Center call . center was terrible. It would take at least 20 minutes to talk to a live person. They told me my pick=up was onCauseway when it was in Arabi. I had 30 min to drive to the other location before it closed. We made it but there was no reason why We were misinformed and not being able to reach anyone for questions is extremely inconvenient.

I would recommend this location for sevices provided by U-Haul. However, I would recommend not keeping the trucks after hours. Our truck was returned same day outside of business hours, due to a minor mistake of leaving the running lights on we were charged for two extra days of rental. When questioned the U- Haul representative said that our truck was not returned in rentable conditions due to a dead battery and wasn't able to be rented out until well into the next rental period. This would have sat fine with me had the return location not been closed for 3 days due to holiday hours anyway making all trucks not rentable for the next rental period. Our simple one day move and being penalized for a small mistake cost us $90 instead of $50. Thank you U-Haul for being so understanding.

The location or service was not the problem , it was the capability of the truck . It was clean but is clearly in need of mechanical maintenance atleast . Until you go to about 20 mpg or so the truck would literally putt putt and steering wheel had an extreme amount of play in it.

Only complaint with the pick up of the equipment was that the time and location of my pick up was changed via a text message the day before I was to pick it up. This pushed back the start of my journey back two and a half hours and also made me travel an extra 40 miles (round trip) to pick up the equipment. Tremendous inconvenience that should have been discussed and handled during my initial reservation.

I thought .79 a mile was a bit much, but I found the Insurance reasonable. Someone's dirty Sandels were left in the the front of the cab ??

My disappointment is not with the sites but with uhaul company. I was charged extra for drop off at my nearest location which was outside of the city then the location I was given within the city.

Waited over an hour for employee to return. Called the next day on how much another day would be since it was raining bad making unload difficult. Member stated $40....the following day when I returned the truck the bill was $109.00. Will never use nor suggest to friends ever again. Penske next time.

Their was only one employee and she did not know how to check in or out a truck. She was on the phone for over 30 minutes getting instructions. It was very odd that an untrained new employee would be left to handle the business. Not her fault.

Over charged for an extra day when the uhaul was turned in a day early. After calling rhey agreed to credit me the overcharge. It took them no time at all to bill me, but I have not recieved the credit yet.

Not sure of his name, but he was very friendly and helpful. He treats his customers with the upmost respect. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to him.
