The parking area offered was too busy and I was worried about my vehicle. Cell phone check in is inconvenient for those not comfortable with using them. Check in was an unnecessary hassle. Especially the scanning of the drivers license. The scanning should be done on U-Hauls equipment. Everyone at the location was polite and friendly though.Richard V.

I made a reservation for 9 AM and the rental location did not open until 9:30 AM. Here's some advice for you: 1) Update your reservation website to show accurate office open and close times. 2) Update your reservation website to only display rental locations that are actually operating. I initially made a reservation in my local town of Beamsville, only to find out later that I had to contact your Hamilton office to make different arrangements because the Beamsville location was not longer renting your trucks. Why did you show Beamsville as an option if the place was closed? Also, I was given no credit for the additional distance that I had to drive to and from my house in Beamsville to rent a van from the next nearest location in Grimsby (20+ km each way). Gee, thanks. 3) If a customer like me is forced to wait an extra 30 minutes to pick up their rental because the rental office was not open when you said it was, don't treat me like garbage for requesting an additional 30 minutes to return the vehicle. While your Hamilton team agreed to give me the extra 30 minutes, they acted like they were doing me the biggest favour. In summary, my experience renting with Uhaul was awful, more expensive than I planned and irritating in multiple ways. In the future, I will only rent a truck with Uhaul if no other options are available. You stink, full stop.Nino D.
I had originally booked my rental at another location and 'corporate' changed it to this location. The location was not open at the reserved pick up time which delayed my move by 1 hour. When we got our truck, the office had given the lockbox code to someone else who was renting so that she could move our truck out of the way. Therefore if there were any, which I highly doubt, cleaning protocols which had been completed on the truck's interior, they were no longer applicable. Totally unacceptable experience and will not use UHaul again.Ralf M.

Parking seems limited, and not clear where best to park to ensure trucks can freely leave and enter the lot. Perhaps best to identify where one should leave their car when picking up a truck.GARY D.
My first Uhaul experience was a bad one! They waited to till a day before my trip to tell me my pickup location and time had changed. New location was more than 30 mins away and and 4 hour time change difference. This messed up all my plans for the day. To make matters worse, they provided me a wrong truck size, and I had to wait for sometime to get the needed size. Bad bad experience.Samuel S.

Nothing about my Uhaul experience was positive. Pick up location, truck size, and drop off location was incorrect. Uhaul acted like this was my problem to figure out every step of the move. For a moving company, my move was stressful because of Uhaul. Still waiting for money to be returnedSusan M.

I fully expected the cab of the cube truck to have been disinfected with the COVID regulations. Not only was it not disinfected it was not clean. The interior of the trailer had not been swept out in a while and there was garbage in there from before our rental. We have used UHAUL MANY times over the years and I found the mileage expensive this time. The COVID non compliance was very disappointing and I should actually report you. I do feel we should be compensated for this.sylvana O.
