Great rental experience BUT I reserved the unit for one location online, 2 weeks later was called and told it was switched and to pick it up at 0845. It seemed like an odd time for a business to open so I called and the place didn't open until 1000am. Had I shown up without calling the place would have been closed. Even then the location was super accommodating and it all went great. No complaints and I love uhaul.RAFAEL P.

The agent was very helpful. The truck drove very well, although it's been a while since I have done a road trip without cruise control. The one big issue is that the truck smelled like a bus stop toilet. There was strong urine smell which was covered over with disinfectant. If I weren't on the highway, I would have driven with the window down.Lee R.

The guy who worked there wasn't trained at all and had no idea how to do anything. It took over an hour just to get the trailer out of there. He couldn't help set up the trailer so had to enlist the services of a toothless man who reaked of alcohol who apparently lived at the location. The guy behind the counter first said there was no additional fee for one way trips then said it would be over $100 more (he just had no idea). Then he claimed another $100+ added was a â€œdepositâ€. I go to drop it off and that was a lieâ€"the deposit was $60. Uhaul should be ashamed to be associated with such establishments. I don't trust the people there. It was absolutely terrible and I would never use them again and I hope uhaul goes bankrupt because they certainly deserve to.John H.

Took 1 hour and 25 mins because the person had absolutely no clue what he was doing...just an example...he didn't know how to scan the drivers license into the computer...he tried to put it in the slot where your receipt comes out....horrible experienceGregory R.

I had to step over piles of junk stacked on the floor, walk around stacks of mess & move the owner's personal items so I could count & sort furniture pads. The gate was locked no one answered the phone number or the emergency number. The trailer was larger than the approach and if I parked it at the gate none of the self storage people could access their stuff. I was parking on the grass which I was concerned was in the row of the highway. The sign on the gate said park in a legal parking space but didn't say what was legal. As I was putting the contract in the drop off box a storage customer drove up and opened the gat so I was able to park inside. 10 minutes later I got a call from the owner said I could have parked on the grass.Randy W.

The computer was down, I wasn't given any paperwork for my rental, I wasn't walked around the vehicle to document damage, I was promised a receipt via email and still have not received my purchase info, where to return the truck, or insurance info. AND my 10% discount for having to drive to another town for the rental was not applied like I was promised.amy W.

Was supposed to get truck @10 am and wasn't available until 2:30pm. It was not clean nor filled with gas it had a little more than half a tank. Now they trying to make me pay $30 for gas for not filling it up. Not gone pay for someone else gas and mine. Also got charged $55.44 for mileage which wasn't correct. Odometer read 133230 when got it and 133286 when returned it. That's only 56 miles and at .65 cent a mile that adds up to $36.40.Cedric P.

The location has 24 hour drop off but it was unclear if you were just supposed to park the truck/trailer in front of the fence, etc. Other than that, the key drop box was easy to find.ROBERTO S.

Apex Self Storage was very helpful and friendly. I asked why my reservation was changed from the Wichita Falls location on Kell to Apex and was told that the Kell location typically does not like doing one-way rentals. He said they switch reservations to other U-Haul locations to have trucks available for 'in town' rentals as there is more money to be made. This change required me to drive more miles (and $) to get the truck and return to my move location which was outside of Wichita Falls. In the future, I will requesting a discount for the change or use another non-U-Haul rental company.CHARLES B.

the only good thing I can say about this location was they let me use their air compressor, after a 30 min + wait. other than that very very bad. 1 check in didn't take my ticket. when I brought truck in, within posted hours gates locked and no place to park truck, other than in front of gate. came back 3 times next day to drop off dolly gates locked, had to drop off across town. very bad service. I don't know what they want to do at this location, but they don't want to check in u haul equipment.THOMAS C.
