The absolute worst truck in the fleet. The windshield was taped to hold it in place, brake fluid leaked, couldn't drive over 65 or it felt like the truck would fall apart. The truck had damage all over. Check engine light came on halfway through trip and we lost the front brakes. How is this even acceptable? If this is the location that maintains the vehicles, BEWARE!!WAYNE B.

Try cleaning off the thousands of bugs off of the windshield, and maybe take some soap and water to the obvious cola type drink projectiled over the dash and inside windshield.DANA H.
I had never used the 24/7 program and didn't understand how it worked. The guy working at that location was a total jerk; condescending and snide. Apparently, he's not allowed to help people using the 24/7 program in any way or so it would seem. He also didn't provide the furniture pads or appliance dolly that I had reserved. By the time I realized they weren't on the truck, there was no way I was going to go and ask him for them. Should I ever need a Uhaul in the future, I'll go to another dealer to get it.Marilyn M.

I was actually scheduled to pick up the truck at Superstition Farms prior to the rescheduled appointment at Apache Motors. However, when I got the farm, there was no clear indicator on where to go to pick up the truck. I actually knocked on the personal residence at the farm but no one answered. After walking to the back end of the farm, I found a worker but he knew nothing about what to do. This was a frustrating and somewhat frightening experience!LEAH G.

Return time was Sunday by 930 but store was closed. Returned equipment by online return but was charged an after hours fee of $20. Should be able to return to an open store to not be charged. Half of the blankets smelled like wet dog.JEFFREY G.

Location not even open on my rental date. Again, I drove all over because uhaul sucks. I hate uhaul. I made my reservation weeks in advance but yet again uhaul failed me and they could not honor their commitment. Again. Why would ANYONE do business with uhaul? For any reason? Oh... When I went there in person I was quoted a rate of 228 dollars for a 1 way 2 day rental for a trailer. I didn't rent it & left. I called another rental location and they quoted 49 dollars but they didn't have the trailer and sent me back to the first site where I rented the trailer for the 49 dollars .MARLYN B.

We OFTEN rent U-Haul trucks for my balloon decor business. We did after-hours pick-up....at night. Things went smoothly. We did not open the back of the truck until loading the next morning. It was noted that the zippered bag with "moving blankets" was opened and a roughly folded blanket was hanging out. We refolded the blanket and re-zippered the bag. One other thing to note, the steering is squirely...steers to the right.Brenda H.

The directions and location of key pick up were not very clear. Also online check in tool took ages for "approval" with an online representative who never once responded to any of the messages sent through the chat associated with waiting for "approval". Online check in and return didn't work well. Truck windshield was very dirty and no washer fluid in truck ...overcharged. Did not want safe move. A 19.99 truck turned onto 98$. Return was terrible. App wouldn't work and took 45 minutes on hold then the owner to return. Overall not good. Over an hour wasted on front and end of rentalShelley A.

Ok. Overall the vehicle was great, no complaints. BUT, on an email, I have screenshotted, it specifically says and I quote, "woman renting u-haul with a smartphone" and the vehicle was located in a dirt lot a little ways away from public eye. That made me uncomfortable not knowing who that "quote" goes to or is visible to see. It asks would I recommend u-haul service to a friend. Absolutely. But, I'm a little sketch to send a female due to woot from my email and it's in a dirt lot away from public view. Also, regarding the dirt lot, in AZ its 116+ degrees, so all the after use photos suck in the daytime. Maybe throw a canopy over them, lol.Krystal F.
The truck was disgustingly dirty and had obviously not been cleaned. There was still gravel in the truck bed. This could have been overlooked, but the interior had sticky splotches all over as though a soda had exploded in the cab. Additionally, there was dirt AND tons of hair all over the interior. It was awful. At the time of the rental, i made note that the cab smelled of cigarette smoke... Later on, my fiancee found a used cigarette butt in the passenger side door. With the dangers of Covid-19, the fact that this truck hadn't been cleaned was extremely disappointing. On top of all this, UHaul"s charges to my credit card do not match whay was on my receipt. Renting a truck from one of the car rental companys at the airport would have cost only a few dollars more, but the truck would have gotten to me clean, I wouldn't have been nickel and dimed for every mile driven AND I would have had it for more than 24 hours. After several moves and dozens of vehicle rentals, over the past couple of years, I am confident in stating that this rental experience was the worst.Paul P.

I don't like not being able to check-out at the counter. I don't like having to report my own mileage - especially when it means hiking about 1/8 mile to do so. This is a horrible set-up and I do not appreciate having to do the job that someone else is getting paid to do - but just sits on his butt.DEBORAH C.
