Would appreciate being told during registration that it was a lock box to get the keys. I was under the impression that it was a place with live personal,it was not. It took over 1.5 hr total to complete the process on the phone in the car in the parking lot with 105 degree temperature. If I was told what I needed to do during the initial reservation on the phone, I would have been more prepared before driving out. It was a frustrating process especially waiting over 45 min on the phone (phoned twice).Ying C.

Owner of business at counter claimed the gas was almost full. Found out after entering the truck the gas was actually a smudge pass the half bar. Took a picture with time stamp to show owner then brought to him and explained. He then said he would not charge for gas since we filled it up the same line we received it as. We explained to him his claims of gas being full was incorrect with time stamped picture proof. He said he would not charge us. Looked at my receipt later on and seen the owner charged me for gas regardless. Although it was only two gallons of gas, to give me a vehicle that is not filled up while you are automatically assuming all vehicles are full is a easy way to mistakenly over charge someone that is not paying attention. The vehicle had less than 1/4 tank of gas. The back tire needed air. The cab had not been cleaned in who knows how long. We needed to rent another 10' truck and rented from another location.Joshua S.
I had a vehicle with a tire sign on. The truck had below a 1/4 tank. The renter was very rude from when I first f got the vehicle to when I gave it back. Said he didn't trust me when I had picture proof that was times stamped. Over all terrible experience and very sketchy place. Birds flying all over this antique shop he ran. Then said to look at my contact but though I did look at it. I never signed a contract. This man shouldn't be running a uhaul out of an antique shop and really shouldn't be having birds flying around a store either. It's not sanitary and one of the birds even flew right by my head.Matt M.

Lower the prices ! I searched every way possible to understand how the 19.95 a day plus. 40 a mile kept doubling and when I pointed out what the customer was seeing, they would turn it around to suit them on price. It's definitely not worth what I paid to move one load just a few miles. $150 + is ridiculous.Harold B.
The 24/7 process didn't tell you that you would need additional verification after you submit a photo ID and license. Luckily I had 2 people readily available for a Sunday AM call from an operator? Like what is that proving? Or else you had to have a passport or lease when you arrived at location... REALLY????Michael F.
The pickup process was very complicated, they had to stop and restart the transaction. The store worker told me that the insurance would be $28 instead of $14 and he didn't know why. But then on the invoice it was only $14 so it was just confusion. The driver's seat belt didn't retract so it stayed loose unless I reached back and pulled it to tighten it, but it just kept coming loose. The truck itself clicked and whined while accelerating. This was my worst U-Haul experience to date. But I did get moved, and that was the goal anyways.Zane J.

The actual process of selecting a location to drop off when doing a one way needs to inform that any location is viable for drop off. There was some confusion for me because the location I had pre selected wasn't actually available to accept uhaul trucks and I wasn't informed I can just drive to anotherCHANDLER G.

There was only one cashier and one computer. They tended to a long line of the antique store customers first and made me wait even though I was ahead of all of them and had already explained what I was there first. I proceeded to get in line again hoping he would help me since I was being bypassed by everyone and did my best not to create a scene. He didn't tend to me until he got through the store customers and proceeded to tell me that his antique store customers come first. I waited in line at least 30 minutes and was late to meet the movers.Maria H.

The vehicle was dirty with pet hair all over/ vehicle had not been cleaned in a long time. No COVID policy in place. The agent was very very rude when I tried to question about receipt charges & charges deducted from my acct. The agent was very argumentative & rude. Will not recommend location to anyone.Joyce S.
The condition of the truck was less than poor. It was unsafe to drive & was filthy. There was no oil or gas in the truck. The cab was fifthly & smelled. Windshield had cracks & you couldn't see out of the windows. Truck was out of alignment & the brakes were shot. Also I paid for 12 moving blankets & there was none in the truck. I had to drive to multiple locations to get moving blankets. This was the worst experience & do NOT recommend U-Haul!Leonard U.
It was hard to locate the location renting the Uhaul. Store windows were full of â€˜junk' and one very small Uhaul sign. I had a 1000 am pickup time. Store was not open when I arrived at 1000. He opened about 1015; but could not get computer to work, so had to call Uhaul to do contract. Store was a complete mess - someone from Uhaul should visit - I think they would agree this is a bad match for the company. Truck cab was dirty, truck had body damage without damage marks.Thomas O.

The hold time is INSANE. This location wasnt even open when My uhaul was avalible to pick up. and i now have to wait on hold some more because i was emailed a reciept that said I payed zero dollars for the uhaul. but my card was charged for 400. Geting the uhaul was a whole other problem.Kayla D.

This location was not in U-Haul facility and the gentleman stated he never had a trailer on site before. He didn't appear to be too happy that it was there. When hooking up the trailer to the U-Haul truck we noticed the cable to connect the truck to the trailer for the lights was missing. I took the truck to start packing up but left the trailer behind. They told me they would call me and let me know what I need to do. I did not hear back from them so I called and when I asked about the trailer the gentleman appear to be annoyed. He said I had to go to a U-Haul place to pick up a cable and then come back to pick up the trailer. I got the indication that if I wouldn't have called them they weren't going to call me to let me know that information. I asked the gentleman on the phone if he had called the U-Haul facility to let them know it was coming so that there wouldn't be any issues picking up the cable and he told me no I had to just go pick it up. I wasn't comfortable doing this as I've never used a U-Haul before and I would've figured that at least a call from the pick up facility to explain the situation was needed to allow for a smooth handover of a cable. I called the U-Haul site and it threw me to your U-Haul main line. I am driving to the new U-Haul facility to pick up the cable and I'm on the phone with the U-Haul mainline associate explaining the situation which she's told me she had never heard of before. Without going into anymore detail I was able to pick up the cable go back to the antique store to pick up the trailer and I was on my way. The whole situation was cumbersome in put me out of my way couple times to do something which I believe you all should've done for me. I would not rent from U-Haul again unless it's a U-Haul facility.Eloy G.

Reservation was a 12noon location was to open at 12 but was not. Still had to wait 13 min to get the keys for the truck was told he had not been check in.Horrible experience moving is already stressful .I complete everything online enter all my information online I was expecting everything to be smooth and seamless if my reservation was at 12 the location should've been open at 12 just basic customer service. Contacted customer service and was on hold for a total of 16 minutes for them to tell me that I should've been able to pick up at the location off my smart phone not sure how to do that if the vehicle had not been checked back in from the night before . Upon Returning the vehicle the customer service rep at the antique center told me this was not his vehicle where did I get it from you can't park it back where you got it from very rude. This was my first experience with uhaul and hope this is not the standard.Ulyssa M.
I went to this place to pick up the U-Haul and it smelled like the most horrible smell ever. I can't get that smell out of my head. Also, the guy was friendly, but the location was very poor. I left my car there while I went to move and I was super concerned that it would get broken in. Also, The truck was not that great, because it took forever to transition between gears and the A/C would randomly turn off while driving.David F.

I was supposed to have a dolly and furniture blankets but they were not in the UHaul when I arrived. I tried going into the Antique store to ask about the dolly and blankets but they were closed and I could not get them. When returning, I was still being billed for the blankets and dolly and the owner did not know how to get them removed. He said he would take care of it so I left the store without finishing the transaction. If he had provided the dolly and blankets then I think it would have been a good experience in using the app to get everything done.MATT M.

The man , Ray charged me for two days. He did not accept me leaving the truck and keys, in the drop box after he closed. I did leave the truck before the next morning. I tried contacting him all day because I became concerned when I started getting an email that the truck rents in 12 hour increments. His workers were not able to contact him all day even though I left 3 messages he only emailed me and called me at 6:50pm. I am owed one day of charges. Gracias.Dianna A.
