For one not charge so much for a trailer. For two i paid for insurance on an already damaged trailer. A window cleaner did the walk through with us and helped direct us out of the tight spot.

They would not help my wife put on uhaul, he stated that he had to attend store. And when I asked him for help to take it off he would not. I could not take it of the hitch due to too heavy. I finally took it off with wife help. . Very unprofessional. Very disappointed..

Truck was disgusting, full of dog hair and smelled like smoke. My husband had to vacuum it so that he and our son could ride in it. In addition, the guy charged $243 on our credit card for NOTHING, as we had already paid. (He told my husband he needed the credit card to verify the reservation.) I had to call UHaul, and they did a return after they couldn't even determine what the charge was about! Also, my husband had to jump a dead battery on a truck that was blocking the one we needed. All this AFTER we had to drive to Freeport, more than 50 miles from our home, because UHaul had our move for July 31 instead of the correct date of July 25th. I went to the LC location to get some boxes and tape and asked the guy if he would verify that our truck was ready for pickup later that day since we were moving the next day, Sat, the 25th. He said, "No, you're moving the 31st." I'm fairly certain I know when I'm moving. At any rate, though the wrong date was not my fault, I had booked 3 weeks in advance, and I had a confirmation email to prove it, we had to drive to Freeport bc it was the closest location with a truck and trailer in the sizes we needed. The whole experience was awful and unprofessional. Can't believe UHaul is in business based on what we've been through.

Owner was super nice and helpful. The place looked a bit scary. But we didnt have to drive 20 miles out of our way to go to where the original dealer had moved to without notifying anyone.

It was a mud hole to park and leave the trailer in. Couldn't understand the man when I called. No help except he checked it in and gave us a receipt and took the trailer.

I only used this place because it was the only place open in my area that was open on a Saturday at 6pm. I needed a trailer to pick up a buddy whose car broke down on the side of the road. The guy I dealt with barely spoke any English. I couldn't understand anything he said. The trailer light on the right side didn't work, and I didn't have a choice but to take it because it was the only one they had. They park their trucks and trailers in a dirt lot next to the store that is so tore up with tire ruts that I almost wasn't able to get my truck in to get the trailer. I was forced by the guy at the store to drive 45 minutes back to his store to drop off the trailer instead of being able to do a after hours drop at the uhaul store near my house.

Came in at 430 for a pickup and scheduled everything online and did the online confirmation and got to the store and it had me listed for a box truck. Then was expecting a 20 foot trailer and they give me a 11 foot trailer and also it was 6 before I left that damn place and the place where I was getting the vehicle had done closed by then so now I'm stuck with the trailer all night and tell him that they should wait till tomorrow morning and he said it's ok bring it back when done so I bring it back the next day at 530ish. Doke lost my phone and keys for the hitch and now I see I have a extra 75 taken out of my account for keeping it. I could have bought a trailer for 170 dollars right now. I do not recommend this place at all ever no matter what. If you need something moved with a trailer call me

This particular drop off point was a small lot behind the convenience store on which it was located on and was only a dirt lot, unpaved. Nothing against the convenience store clerk whom accepted the trailer turn-in but I did not receive any assistance when unhooking and dropping the trailer.

U ordered 2 Dolly's they were no in the truck. The door was not latched and as I was riding down the street I was pulled over because the door was up. There was a chair in the back of the truck. The chair could have flew out the truck and caused an accident.

This rental was nightmare they cancel from lake Jackson to Clute to rich wood finally to Freeport and the Corey the manager said is gone to charge me 50 dollar for the delay but at the end they charge me 99 ????

The truck had roaches in it. The rental location didn't have anything I needed such as the furniture dolly and furniture pads as I had reserved online. Even though I had a guarantee rental the truck nor accessories were ready for me when I got there. When I did get the truck it had less gas in the truck than what was on my contract and it also had more miles on the truck than on the paper. When I disputed this with the representative he told me I couldn't have the truck that I rented and that I would have to take a smaller truck. I called uhaul to complain and the person on the phone made the rental location let me have the truck I reserved initially. This location just was not prepared and I also felt as if he was trying to overcharge me for the services. I was gravely disappointed with this experience

was double booked for the same equipment rental with another person, both parties waited almost 2 hrs to sort through, I had come from the original pick up place, after that equipment had no lights, then charged over mileage, because the drop off had no room, had to drop elsewhere. alot of extra miles.

This place is awful. The clerk did not speak English and did not know how to use the Uhaul system. The location was probably safe, but the fact that I had to write that implies a level of question.

Reservations computer issues . was held up at dealer. Multiple phone calls.took 30-40 min to clear up. More training for dealers. Good price. Had to assist dealer w/small electrical repair. Someone had cut break light lines. Equipment worked well,once on road.

The cashier was hateful and racist he asked me if I spoke English after he tried to charge me double for my rental it took 2 hrs to pick it up and another 2 hours to drop it off he kept arguing and talking on his cell phone while I was trying to close my acct

Trailers are parked on a sloped, muddy dirt lot. This makes it very hard to hook/unhook them. They are not able to print out a copy of your contract, due to broken printer, and e-mail doesn't work to send you a copy. Not one of the better U-haul locations I have dealt with.

Horrible customer service. Did not have knowledge on check-in process. In drop off of trailer, had to back it into small grass space and the attendant did NOTHING. I unhitched the trailer. The attendant then raised his voice and demanded I move the trailer back further to a spot he wanted it in. I had to advise him that's his job to maneuver the trailer since it was tricky backing in process. He knew nothing about trailers - I mean nothing. A very bad experience and I will not recommend this facility to anyone.

When we picked up the U-Haul in Corpus Christi the truck was on empty and the gas light was on. The U-Haul representative told us we would receive a $48.00 credit from U-Haul if we brought it back with a quarter of a tank. When returning the truck and above a quarter of a tank like told we did not receive a credit and the Representative in Freeport said that we would have to call U-Haul about that. Instead she charged us $0.53??

For large truck and trailer space was limited for return. Store clerk watches store plus handles U-Haul return. Wanted me to back the trailer into the lot. Location was convenient but I would choose to return elsewhere.

The guy renting the equipment did his best. But the experience with the reservation and the truck was frustrating. The weather was cover cast and rain was in the area. It wasn't very safe driving with worn out windshield wipers. Discover they were in poor condition during our travels. Had to pull over several times. During the pre trip inspection it was more about looking for dents, cleanliness and fuel. Seems like windshield wipers would have been the least of our worries!

U need to close this place down. No help hooking up trailer. They barely speak English. On return..the didn't even inspect your equipment. I would like a refund!

the 1800uhaul person said they sent me a car hauler for a full sized truck. I also informed them I had big tires. They told me the straps would fit any tire. The trailer wasn't really wide enough for my truck, and the straps weren't long enough for my truck. The lady at the dealer didn't know anything, all she could tell me was I needed to cal uhaul back. The lady at 1800uhaul told me that car dolley was the only one that was wide enough for my truck, and her manager told me I would have to go buy axel straps. That's a great idea on a full sized trailer the car drives on, but not a car dolley. Backing up, my truck came off the dolley. Realized myself to strap the tire down, however, the dolley wasn't really wide enough. So, if I didn't restrap the tires after every tight turn, my truck came off the dolley. That happened twice!!! I was lucky enough that it happened in the middle of no where and no one was in the was in the way. All in all, horrible experience.

Representative hooked up trailer but failed to tighten lock on hitch. Luckily it didn't come off before I found this issue. Trailer popped up when I was loading my vintage car onto trailer. Paperwork was interrupted repeatedly by other customers coming into store. It took longer than it should have to get the trailer.
