Communicating with the attendant is difficult as he is in a booth. Nonetheless he was very very nice

Patrick HYou have a rogue local dealer here. This is the 2nd time that Annapolis Carroll Fuel has tried to rip me off. The first time, he tried to charge me something like $80 for fuel. I disputed this charge with Visa and received a refund. This time, he not only tried to add gas, he also must have “planted” dirty mats in the cab. There was no rain, no mud, no nothing, the entire 24hrs I had the truck. I swept both the front and the truck bed with a blower before I returned it in pristine condition. This guy must have figured out that the "$25 cleaning fee” is a loophole to get extra revenue to take advantage of unsuspecting renters who don’t know to take a picture of every inch of the truck. Even I—who had suspected this guy was corrupt before—didn’t think he would plant dirty mats to get his $25. Your Uhaul rep was particularly unhelpful, basically saying “he took pictures, how could that be wrong?" See my photo of the gas gauge. Also note that the picture he took had a different odometer reading than my picture. I plan on disputing with Visa. But I believe you need to get control of this guy at this location.
Mark BIt’s ridiculous that you have to drop off the UHaul in the same location where it was picked up. People rent these so they can move. It’s also ridiculous that you have to physically be in that location to confirm on your phone that pick up was completed. What if you don’t have a phone? What if you had someone else drive the truck for you? The phone check in didn’t work either. It said we could use the phone to check in at any time, but once that was done, we were told to go get the keys from the clerk of the (not yet open) facility.
Hana VVery slow and inadequate pick up process. Nothing was explained, there was not a clear handover of keys and responsibility, and attendant continued to serve other customers while processing the contract with no explanation or feedback. Exceedingly slow.

Brenda TChoose this location as they were very close by and as they are part of a gas station they are open long hours every day including Sunday. Other locations and competitors had much more limited hours for pick-up and drop-off.

OSCAR RI had set up mobile pick up for 3pm. Someone called me at about 4 because I hadn't picked it up yet. I said I would be there probably 5 to 6. Showed up at 5 and saw she changed pick-up time to 6 so I couldn't check in, had to switch to regular check in. If I pay for the truck from 3pm Sunday to 3pm Monday, why does it matter when I pick it up? Then when I returned the truck, the guy kept pushing me to put "a little" gas in it even though we only drove about 12 miles. I said they could charge me for the miles (he said regular gas rate doubled), but he refused to give me odometer readings. I was charged for more miles than I drove (not a ton more so it's not worth pursuing for a refund). All around annoying experience, but the van was great, super clean.

QUINTON HAnnapolis Carol Fuel is an AWESOME place to drop off equipment!! The location is open until 11 PM which is great for drop off/return. I returned the equipment at 10:30 PM and the personnel were friendly and professional!!!!

Josh BI left the truck with over a 1/4 tank of gas (as was instructed to when I picked it up). The gas station attendant (the location was an actual small gas station with a little shack) took the keys and didn’t look at the truck with me as I requested. Then I get a bill for 60 dollars, saying the truck wasn’t filled up properly. This is a flat out lie on the gas station attendant. And will definitely dispute this with my bank, if I’m not refunded the $60 dollars.

Mark HHaving pick up at a gas station with just a kiosk in between pumps was chaotic. We were charged the Safe Move fee which we denied and did not receive our military discount as promised. We received no printed receipt and attendant was preoccupied with all the gas customers.

I ended up sitting outside the gas station until it opened, I was late as a result, and there was no help available to change the return time after the pickup time was delayed by this issue.

MARKL FIt was a gas station not a true U-haul. I would definitely recommend the actual U-haul owned establishment. We returned unused boxes and they were super friendly and helpful. MUCH better experience than Blacksburg by far!
Linda SNo one called me the day before to confirm my order. I did receive a text message the night before that asked me to call and verify my pickup (around 6pm). I called a number of times and got no answer. I called the next morning and finally got through to a voice mail system. I left my name and number and asked for someone to please call me back. I left 2 more voice mail messages… no one ever called me back. I finally received a call 15 minutes before I was to pick up the truck and was told that there was no truck available for me. They offered a truck at a different location (2.5 hours away), if I wanted to travel. After talking to the rep for about 50 min. We finally worked something out. When I went to pick up the truck it was filthy. The windshield was covered with dead bugs, and the cabin smelled like cigarette smoke. When I opened the back of the truck there was stuff all over the floor and au haul hand cart laying on the floor. This told me that they never opened the back gate because they went to get me the hand truck that I rented. Also there was grease or oil on different areas of the floor that I had to clean up before using the truck. A very unpleasant experience.

Sheldon PPU location is a gas station, attendant barely spoke english and he would not come outside his little box so you could barely hear or understand him. took so long to get truck, because i had to wait for him to push me aside and wait on his other customers buying, sodas, cigarettes, condoms and drug related stuff.
