Only complaint is that the clerk kept stopping processing my uhaul to help other patrons check out. Instead of finishing my transaction, he stopped off and on to help 6 other people. What should have been less than 5 minutes took over 15 due to helping others buy lotto tickets.

The process of getting the truck online was not a good experience. Suppose to pick up truck at 8:00 am finally got it at 9:00 am. Finally got a representative on the phone to help which she was very helpful.

When making my reservation, I selected to rent an appliance dolly, the website said it was available for an add on rental. When I arrived to pick up the truck and appliance dolly I was told that they do not have an appliance dolly available. If I had been aware of this, I would have selected another pick up location. This caused additional time and additional miles on the truck to find another place to rent an appliance dolly. When returning the equipment, I was told that they could not complete the paperwork at that time and said they would send me confirmation when it was completed. While this was completed, I had to trust that they would close out the rental and couldn't verify appropriate charges.

On arrival the owners immediately asked why I brought the vehicle to their location as they do not have the space to accommodate larger vehicles and they already had enough available rentals. I responded that uhaul apparently thought the location needed the vehicle as I was given a discount to return it to their store. Unfortunately, the pickup store hadn't properly documented the preexisting damages on the vehicle and they had to call for help to close the return.

Driver side footwell area was dirty. Rest of the vehicle was clean. The engine sounded like it has an exhaust, or manifold leak. Other than that the staff at the location was friendly, and getting the vehicle was pretty quick. They seem to have a limited amount of vehicles to choose from, it is a small location.

I returned a day early and with more gas than when I picked up and the guy at the convenience store / uhaul return couldn't make his computer work so I left it and put the keys in the Dropbox. I was over charged

Originally I had made reservation for truck and utility dolly at the Mckinney Tx location and they did not have a truck ready in time. They found another truck at the Anna Food Mart, but when I went their, they didn't have a utility dolly.

The folks at this location had a very difficult time simply upgrading the truck from a 10 foot to a 15 foot. I was there for 45 minutes and finally had to call customer service to get the help I needed. The person I spoke to on the phone took about five minutes to complete what I needed done.

The cab of the truck I rented was not cleaned out and had damage to the roof above the windshield. However, the rental process was smooth and easy. Using the mobile site I was able to easily inspect the vehicle and take pictures to document the issues. Loved this! The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient and the short term rental option (4 hours) was perfect for my needs. Will definitely use again, if needed!

What I would recommend to a friend is the following: ALWAYS go to an OFFICIAL U-HAUL LOCATION. NEVER EVER use the storefronts, convenience stores, or gas stations.To be fair, the store clerk genuinely tried to help me. But the store owner insisted we do something foolish--namely drop off the trailer in the grass after the Dallas area suffered severe storms, flooding, heavy rains, wind damage, and tornadoes. my truck and trailer stuck in the mud, shifted my load with all my valuable household items on board, made a big mess. and made me lose two hours of precious time on moving day. They do not know how to handle trailers--hook them up properly and safely, unhook them, etc . Separately, where I first tried and failed to picked up my trailer in another State (NOT this location), the location was a gas station and no one was available to help me hook up the trailer. The person running the store, who was alone, similarly did not know anything about trucks or trailers. My advice to management is the following: Rethink using these locations at all, at leat for trailers. These folks do not know how to hook/ unhook trailers safely-- This is a BIG multi-million dollar death and property damage lawsuit just waiting to happen.

The people that run this though there store need to have better training and all the extra things you order they need to be there at the store. I was lucky that I didn't need any of that.

The food mart was busy when we arrived but we were helped quickly. the truck was clean and well maintained. the gentleman running the store was very nice and extremely helpful. Great overall experience! Would definitely recommend!

I had the vehicle for 4 hours and 15 minutes. Was told by associate I had 24 hours to return. Charged for 2 days. Will never use U-Haul again if this is their policy.

You could have had the accessories, that I specifically requested two weeks in advance, onsite when it was scheduled to be picked up. Not having furniture dollies or furniture pads were a great inconvenience. Not to mention, it made the move twice as hard as it should have. Poor customer service.

The truck was available the day I called, store owners were very nice, too less than 15 mins to complete paperwork, pay and get the truck. Price was very reasonable for the 3 days we had it- less than $200 one way!!

The person running the store was never notified by the regional office that the drop off location had been changed to his store. I didn’t ask for the drop off location to be changed; nor did I care. I did my due deligence. I arrived 30 minutes early. I fueled the vehicle to the appropriate level. I made sure the vehicle was clean; however on both the pick up and the drop off, my location was changed and I was called repeatedly by frustrated 3rd party vendors unwilling to do their part. Vendors, which I have to admit seem to be very unreliable. Renting a UHaul, should be much more straight forward. Locations should be managed in a more reliable manner. A customer should not incur extra costs for the negligence of a 3rd party vendor. However, without constant deligence on behalf of the customer it constantly feels like you are seconds away from being ripped off. UHaul, provides a vital service to many communities across America. No other company can match the service UHaul provides, however the rental process seems incredibly unorganized. There seriously needs to be an overhaul to how UHaul manges it’s 3rd party vendors. Maybe, they’re necessary; but they’re incredibly unreliable.
