I dropped off my rental truck on sunday evening. Thier was not a drop box for the keys. The place is closed, I called uhaul 800 number. Waited on line for a long time, kept being on hold. I ended up talking to 3 different people, each told me something different to do with the keys, but all of them said drop box was at the entrance of the store. Kept telling them thier was not a drop box. I was told to lock the keys in truck by one person. I was told to put keys under driver seat, and leave passenger door unlocked, which I found out later would have made me responsible, if something happened to the truck. I also found out I would have been charged for a locksmith coming out to unlock the truck. Why would uhaul employees tell me to do these things, knowing I'm going to be charged? I talked to a guy who clearly kept passing me on to someone else, even after I begged him "please don't hang up on me. I need someone to help me. " This run around went on for way over 2 hours, in a business parking lot at night. Not a good place for 2 women to be alone! While I'm on the phone my friend is walking around looking for the drop box, that was clearly not where they said it should be. We ended up finding the drop box on the side of an old run down building, that was behind the main building. No lighting out there at all. Place looked like it needed condemned. I believe your employees should know where these boxes are located at the different drop offs. You should maybe correspond with these businesses better to make sure you both have the same information. It should have never taking me that long to drop off a rental, and the uhaul employees should be more helpful. Maybe retrain them, so they know the actual rules instead of telling customers things to cost them more money!

The team at Anderson's was knowledgeable and courteous. The helped me make a schedule change. The trailer was in excellent condition and one of the staff members helped me hook it up. I was impressed and grateful.

I was supposed to put the lock in a locked box before they were open. The key box couldnt fit the lock. I had to wait till they were open and drop it off inside to be sure i wouldnt be charged $30 for a missing lock

The truck itself was clean. We got my stuff loaded on Friday evening and it was raining. The truck sat overnight and when I got into the cab, the driver door was full of water. We hauled to my new home and upon arrival and getting into the back, we started moving my stuff. Most of it was pretty wet. The trailer part of the uhaul must have a pretty bad leak as well. I let one of the workers (Tonia) know about this. It wasn't her fault, but I'm still drying some of my stuff that got wet and it has been 4 days.

Drop off was suggested by u haul. There was another location even closer. The place was closed. Key drop box was hung on a chain link fence. Trailer in front of the box made it difficult to see. Had to call u haul to find out where the box even was. Did I mention that it was raining at the time? Drop off was less than ideal.

Mandy was absolutely the best to work with. She understood our needs and did her best to accommodate without trying to sell us too much. She was so good to answer all my questions. I apologize that my original order had to be cancelled (when our plans changed) and then a new order created at pickup...Mandy was so deserving of the sale. I will recommend Mandy every chance I get.

The truck brakes were bad. I could barely stop it. The transmission did not want to shift so it s.elled horrible on hills. Dont make your customers drive so far out of the way and then lie and be rude about the situation. It absolutely was not resolved in a proper way at all. So dissatisfied I dont want anyone using uhaul. Worst expierence evet.

There’s nothing that could have improved on my experience that I know of. The truck handled excellently, hardly even used that much fuel, which was a def PLUS! ?? And your rep, Mandy, was terrific to work with. She explained everything concisely, and I didn’t have any issues whatsoever! She’s was Great! Thank you for such a great experience!

I was pleased with the service however I was not pleased with my interactions with the first location I made reservation. I reserved the same size vehicle for two days and received a call the morning of pick up stating the vehicle had not been returned for my use. This seriously impacted the chances of us using another uhaul during moving.

Trailer door would open about 10 inches, then stick and you would have to yank it really hard to get it open. Right arm still hurts from yanking it open the whole time.

Truck was returned below the agreed mileage and at the correct fuel measurement. However, they charged me for it being incorrect which added an extra $20 dollars to my bill.

I had an excellent experience. The young lady that assisted me at Anderson's was fantastic. The rental truck was in great shape. The only thing that I would like to see is trucks always being available in our area. We live in a rural community, and a selection of rental trucks are not always available. I felt very fortunate to rent a truck at a location so convenient to me.
