The back door was extremely rusty so it was a hassle to close shut every time. There was also food and crumbs in the passenger seat. The app was also glitchy.

The entire transaction process was smooth and efficient.

Antonio SMy order and location was changed the night before I moved and it put me behind having to go to a different location. When I arrived, they had my wrong number on file and the location didn't seem to know what they were doing. After drop off, I was charged an extra $100 for "fuel and other equipment." ( I filled it to a quarter tank before I dropped it off). I reached out and they said I was charged due to never uploading pictures or did the pre inspection. I was not told anything about this nor sent any texts or emails. Very unprofessional. I will not be using again.
MIRANDA L**** Reference the 'well maintained' question above: The truck showed a lot of usage. My nephew drove it and said it was your average, used U-Haul truck. We did appreciate all the room for cargo. That's a big plus. Thank you.
DOREEN VLocation is in an average strip mall. Customer Service was great. Location had all the extra moving supplies (Hand-Truck, Shrink Wrap, Moving Blankets etc) The vehicle I rented was a 20' Box Truck. The vehicle had 149,094 Miles on it (so an older vehicle) & the engine light was "On" which concerned me initially. But I was only traveling 20 miles total, so I didn't say anything. All in all… we got our stuff moved successfully & we had a good experience. Gracias.

KIM MMake sure that all the Uhaul locations have food running trucks. And possible opening up regular Uhaul retail stores instead of 3rd party locations. Get new or or used trucks for a cleaner air environment. Uhaul is my go too ams have been for ivwr 20+ years but these trucks are not reliable

Vincent YThe U-Haul was break down in the middle of no where in very hot humid weather in TX , I and my wife stranded for 8 and a half hour before they can pull the truck to our destination 171 miles to go, the U-Haul was refused to help till I fight for it , I purchased insurance, I pay for lots of money, over 4K for the U-Haul. Now , I want my money back or I’ll take further action, stay away from U-Haul everyone.
Vu NTell the customer where to put the key , have the store open on time . The guy really charged me a whole extra day without me noticing til the next day when i wanted to drop off no one was there and had the guy tell me over the phone they were there . I left the truck overnight at there location and took the key with me . the guy also states " how are we supposed to rent it out with no key ?" He was very rude and for me to have a very slim amount of patience blew my mind . Very first and very much the last time i will rent a uhual ever .

Juan SUpdate the truck. Although it wasn't bad but the truck was an older model, manually roll down windows and lock the doors. Also, the steering was a little out of alignment.

David CMy complete and overall experience with U-Haul was nothing short of a disaster. A letter grade would put it solidly at an F.. The original location that I was supposed to rent from did not open. No one came to the store and the business remain locked for the duration.of time I was on the phone and online with U-Haul customer service. As well as the time i spent and wasted attempting to open the truck via the U-Haul app by the pass code. (This too was a disaster). Ultimately, I wound up calling U-Haul again and getting a truck from another Location.. The customer service rep was equally useless and was defensive about the situation and had no answer as to why of no one showed up to open the store. Ultimately, I had to drive to another location to get a truck.(Again, the employees voice tune was completely defensive). The best I was offered was a pathetic $50 dollar credit to the cost of my situation and the incompetence of U-Haul. I lost over an hour waiting and driving to the location I was needed to be at. Accordingly, this cost me an extra hours pay for three workers help! Again, I could tell NO ONS at U-Haul customer service cared. I will do EVERYTHING possible in the future NEVER to rent another vehicle from U-Haul again. I know no one will call me to ask about the situation nor the inconvenience of what I was put through. DAMON HI don't know if the gentleman who opened the location and rented me the truck was the franchisee/owner, but he was a class act. Easygoing, polite, patient with my 1,000 questions. I would absolutely go back to this location again, thumbs up.
EDWARD IWhen I went in to return the van I was informed that it was reported stolen all day. Apparently they gave me the wrong Van. This was a bit unsettling. The agent assured me it was a mistake from their part and that they will resolve the issue. Later in the evening I noticed I have had two missed calls from them. I called the number back to see why they were calling, again the agent assured me that I need not worry about anything , they took care of everything

Mary GThere was literally a crack pipe left in the haul when we got it. I have pictures if you need them. We cleaned it out and threw it away, but I think the haul should've been inspected before giving it to another person.

MERDAD BOwner and manager of UHaul is excellent. Omar is amazing. Definitely coming back here and not the Santa Ana location on Harbor. The Santa Ana location gave me a reservation but when I showed up told me that the truck was broken. When was I supposed to be notified. Horrible. But this Anaheim location when they said they have a truck they have it. Thanks Omar. Don't ever go to the Santa Ana harbor location.
Jericho AThe dolly and the blankets were not in the Truck when I picked the truck up with the app. I had to return later to get them. The app worked very poorly. I had to redo some steps 5-6 times before they worked.

Jason LMy reservation for the vehicle was at 8am and the shop did not open till 11am. They allowed me to have the vehicle for longer because of the inconvenience, but I wish it wasn't listed as available at 8am to begin with. It messed up my schedule. Also, I did not sign up for the $14 insurance and I was charged for it anyway. Also, the vehicle was in bad shape, not clean, and I'm pretty sure it needed a service repair because the engine was making a loud noise that seemed dangerous

Jerry HThe back end of the pickup was filled with trash and pillows. Someone has been sleeping in the back end. I had to climb and clean it out before using it which was not good. Otherwise, the pickup was in good working order, but should have been cleaned before hand.

Judy Twas NOT happy about being charged for 1.7 gallons of gas on the vehicle when I drove only eight (8) miles. No vehicle that size gets that poor of a gas mileage. Other than that I was very satisfied with the company.
