I booked for a larger truck but i was given a smaller one. could not carry all my luggages. also i booked for a dummy and other accessories, none was given.JUFELKAR ALI C.
This service location is worst in service. I have been a Uhaul customer in past 4 years. Booked for a cargo van truck and given an unsafe 10' truck. Since the equipment was very bad condition and unsafe to drive my moving cancelled in half way. Narrow escaped from a highway accident due to the equipment condition was very bad. After all the equipment filled with half way fuel tank and given in half tank filled back with fuel receipt. However, the service charged fuel marking 1/4 level. Since the key was sunday drop, no one inspected and Monday got a bill which is totally unacceptable. When called the service lady, she just hang up the phone not giving or hearing any explanations. The tariff charged per mile is 1.11$ instead 0.69$. Totally very worst service for no uses at all. I should book another truck with movers due to this bad equipment which forces to cancel our moving on half way.Jyothi Lakshmi P.

Some of the lights were not working on the van. It was full of garbage and unclean. We did not feel safe driving this vÃ©hicule. I would really like a refund, as this was a very poor experience overall.Tiffany M.
Do not use AMR grocery store as uhal pick up and drop off. Official complaint has been made. Truck was not save. The woman was rude. I went from a loyal uhal customer to never wanting to use uhal again after this experience.Azadeh S.

Rent my truck at 6:30 am on April 17th using the share 24/7 option. Arrived there this morning as confirmed but the keys are inside shop which opened at.. 8h30! Uhaul girl on the phone tell me bring it back at 2 pm for the time you lost; manager tells me at first to bring it back at 11... how is it possible anyway i could rent a truck online at 6h30 but still have to wait until 8h30?? Absolute non sense. Finally got to bring it back at 1pm, still lost 1h. The truck wasnt clean from the last guy, welcome Covid!Jonathan D.

Nothing was specified to us before the contract, we drove only 11 kms nd we are charged for 22kms,,,wtf...???...18$ for insurance were not specified earlier...overall very bad expierience with uhaul, not reccomandable too.ABHISHEK P.
Je vous explique mon expÃ©rience pour vous permettre de vous mettre dans ma situation. Vous allez alors pouvoir infÃ©rer mon niveau de satisfaction. PremiÃ¨rement, aprÃ¨s avoir cherchÃ© la place pendant 10 minutes (il serait intÃ©ressant d'indiquer que c'est dans l'Ã©picerie, merci au passant qui passait par lÃ ) nous devons signer les papiers entourÃ© de boites de cartons souillÃ©es de cafÃ© et de liquide non identifiÃ©â€¦ Nous sommes allÃ©s voir le camion qui Ã©tait rempli d'ail et d'oignons. Le monsieur prÃ©sent Ã donc vidÃ© le tout sous nos yeux. Vous pouvez aussi imaginer l'odeur, et celle de mes choses aprÃ¨s le dÃ©mÃ©nagement. AprÃ¨s avoir tout vidÃ©, il restait plusieurs rÃ©sidus et une vieille guenille mouillÃ©e et salle. J'ai donc dÃ» faire le mÃ©nage du camion avant d'y mettre mes choses. Par la suite, le pare-soleil du cÃ´tÃ© conducteur est brisÃ© et il a tentÃ© de nous le cacher. Cette action a influencÃ© notre confiance envers la compagnie. De plus, il nous a mentionnÃ© que nous devions ramener le camion Ã la mÃªme quantitÃ© de gaz. Lorsqu'il a dÃ©marrÃ© ce dernier, la lumiÃ¨re d'essence allumait dÃ©jÃ . (Nous ne savons pas depuis combien de temps). Nous avons refusÃ© de prendre le camion puisque nous ne voulions pas tombÃ© en panne d'essence. Il nous a dit que la station d'essence Ã©tait Ã 2 blocs. Je n'avais donc pas assez d'essence pour me rendre Ã ma premiÃ¨re destination Ã 7 minutes de votre compagnieâ€¦ Il nous a dit qu'il allait nous donner un remboursement de 20$ si nous allions gazer pour lui Ã©tant donnÃ© qu'il n'avait pas d'autre camion. Je n'avais donc pas le choix de prendre un camion qui sent l'ail et qui manque d'essence puisqu'un dÃ©mÃ©nagement se planifie d'avance et que je ne peux pas remettre ma dateâ€¦ Lorsque je suis allÃ©e remettre le camion Ã 13h00, la personne en charge n'Ã©tait pas prÃ©sente. J'ai dÃ» attendre 10 minutes que la personne revienne. AprÃ¨s 10 minutes, on nous mentionne que la personne est allÃ©e chercher ses enfants et qu'elle sera de retour dans 20 minutes. Personne d'autre est formÃ© pour rÃ©pondre Ã vos clients et je dois attendre 30 minutes pour me faire servirâ€¦ je trouve cela inacceptable. J'ai mentionnÃ© que je ne voulais pas attendre ce nombre de temps et la personne m'a simplement dit que je pouvais laisser le clef et que quelqu'un allait me recontacter ce qui n'a jamais Ã©tÃ© faitMICHEL L.
make it more clear that custommer shall return gaz same level as what they take it. and give customer a chart showing tanks level equivalent to liters (ex: 1/8 of tank = 20 liters, 1/4 = 40 liters...etc)robert K.
I requested the lady at the counter to inspect the truck ,she was hesitant to do so.when she finally did she told me everything was fine and all of the sudden there is an extra charge on my card.i think it is an abuse since we both inspected the truck before me leaving the premises and she gave her ok.Essohanam G.

I had a reservation for 9 and it took the guy 25 min to do the paper work and once I got to my destination I open the back and it reeked of fish and so dusty. I brought the truck back with the same gas I go it and she said it's not right so she charged me extra for it with the worst attitude telling me why did I do that! It was hard to know where to leave the Uhaul because this is a grocery store. It would help to have some indication - if there were no Uhauls in the parking lot, we would not have been able to figure it out.Alison L.
J'ai eu une bonne expÃ©rience en 2014 avec U-haul Cremazie , MontrÃ©al. Mais avec U-haul de Decarie cette annÃ©e, elle Ã©tait mauvaise. Il n'y a pas de suivi et de vÃ©rification de compteurs, avant le dÃ©part, trÃ¨s mal organisÃ©. Ils demandent de preuve (des photos avant et aprÃ¨s), et si tu n'as pas ces preuves ils te chargent plus de kilomÃ¨tres. Aussi j'ai fait 7 heurs avec le camion 10 pi, et ils m'ont chargÃ© 2 * (20+15 $ ) + frais pour distance. Ils ont dit que j'ai dÃ©passÃ© 4 heurs. Lorsque j'ai vÃ©rifiÃ© dans le site web, j'ai trouvÃ© 4 et 7 heurs ont le mÃªme prixZIED K.

I have been charged extra because the person in charge pretended that the level of the gaz was not enough. I put gaz as they asked me to. It seems it is a common problem in this location cause a customer before me was arguing about the same subject and was charged extra too. I took a picture of the milage and the gaz level before I leave the van to return it. I hope this problem will be considered in the futur.CAROLINE A.

Not rip them off! They are scammers. I dropped the van with 100% the exact same amount of petrol as instructed. I double checked and made sure it was correctly over the 1/4 mark. They took photos from a weird angle, and proceeded to charge me another $20 for fuel PLUS a $30 filling fee. TOTAL SCAM!james A.

The lady at AMR fruiterie was very rude and looked like we were not welcome. The store is absolutely disgusting and she even tried to charge us 5 dollars (in the rudest way) because we left the car in the (large) parking. This place was awful. The lady was on the phone and she didn't hang up the phone to request my information. The whole time she was on the phone and she wasn't polite at all. I read the reviews of this location before going there and I already knew that it's not a good location. But I had no other choice in this area. In Uhaul site, it is not mentioned to provide a proof that we have insurance, I called my credit card service and they cover the truck but at that location they won't give me the truck without a proof on paper which is impossible to get at the last minute.Charbel T.
