There were rough road surfaces at pickup site. The trailer handled well on them.

The truck had a tire out of balance or something like that. I didn't notice it till the truck was loaded down. I couldn't go over 50mph without it shaking like crazy! I'm driving down the interstate while my loved ones sat in the vehicle behind me praying the semi's flying by at 80mph didn't plow into them... Additionally, when I picked it up, the guy who gave me the keys said I could drop it off in Whitehall... then I got charged two days extra plus more milage because it wasn't where the contract said I was supposed to drop it off! I contacted U-haul over the chat box and the person on the other end was pathetically useless. We spent over $3,000 with U-haul over the last year... I AM NOT HAPPY WITH U-HAUL and will out of my way to recommend people find another option in the future! Your customer service so far has been TERRIBLE! Calling you guys on the phone hasn't been any better... I regret working with you guys from the get-go.

Originally had a guaranteed reservation in South Haven. I called them to let them know we would be late. I showed up at 4 and they said no one can hook up the trailer when it was sitting outside (guy who hooks up left). I then had to drive another 20 minutes after already driving 3 hours to South Haven to Pullman. The gentleman in Pullman was great. Originally I reserved a 6x12 in Walled Lake and got a text the next day they didn’t have it so I had to rent a 4x8 in commerce drop it off in Jackson then pick up what I thought was another guaranteed reservation (#28546030). When I arrived at South Haven I was also told the reservation was cancelled. I said not by me it was by Dan in South Haven. U Haul service was combined with a convenience store. One could see U Haul trailers off to one side but some UHaul signage might be helpful.

I was doubled charged for the trailer from two different locations for the same trailer, same contract and same dates.

The man that helped us unhitch it was very nice and didn't make us back it into the space.

Staff are polite, but the truck was not cleaned from last client. Each time I have had to go there because was not available in South Haven I experienced the same thing.

I arrived in South haven, MI to pick up my truck, and they had no truck to give me. I was in forced to drive 20 miles away to the Pullman location, to pick up that truck and drive it all the way back to Southhaven to begin my move. The truck I received was dirty and smelled like smoke. I have used U-Haul many times, this is truly the first bad experience I’ve had.

Easy to rent car trailers work well but both times I had lights that didn't work and brake lights and turn signals Some in lighting could be a little better. But still would use uhual again just maintenance on lights is all that I had problems with.

Trailer was clean. Tail and brake lights didnt work on the 6x12 at time of pickup but blinkers and 4ways did. When trialer was plugged into my 2018 Kia sorento, it took out my tail light on the car. All they said was if I was staying local I should be ok... no word what will happen if that trailer shorted out my lighting system
