Robyn MFantastic service! I had to return to the location the next day after dropping the truck off after hours and they were very accommodating and a delight to deal with.
Chad TWe were suppose to pick up our rental at 3:30pm. There was a sign on the door saying they would be back at 3:30pm. Around 3:45 after calling and leaving 2 voicemails and a message, I decided to change my pickup to a mobile pickup through the app. At which point I was able to accept the rental, however was not given a code for the lockbox to get the key. So o had to call U-Haul customer service to help with that. They were also unable to provide a way to get the keys. So they had to upgrade our rental to the next size up because that was the only key they had access to provide. So for my 3:30pm rental pickup, I didn’t end up getting my rental until 4:17pm. And was still asked to return the rental by 7:30pm, because I only paid for a 4 hour rental. And as I sit here writing this review at 11:48pm, I still have yet to hear back from anyone at American Self Storage of Pickerington.

CHARLES BI am upset that I was charged a cleaning fee. Please look into this matter for reservation 75766749 and reimburse me. The truck was filthy inside when I picked it up. I uploaded a picture and stated as such while I was picking up the vehicle. The person before me is the one that should have received a cleaning fee.

BRANDON Pthe lady that helped me was very kind and funny! she assured me i’d have no issue driving the van when i’m used to a tiny low riding car and haven’t driven anything else and she wasn’t wrong! there was a little bit of mud in the back of the van but honestly it wasn’t an issue because she gave me a moving blanket and had previously mopped the van. the inside of the building was also clean and overall the easiest thing to get done all day because of her help. highly recommend!
Kierra Ruhaul charged me for 105 miles where I have only driven 44 miles. The odometer reading when I took off the Van was 5969 miles and the odometer reading when I returned the is 6013 miles. So the total miles I drove the van is 6013 miles - 5969 miles = 44 miles but they charged me for 105 miles which is not correct. This company is a fraud.

Bikash CThe unit had no air conditioner (was not informed) it was a very HOT day. I was told I needed to return the uhaul by 4:30 p.m. I returned it at 3:05. They did not tell me that it would be closed. No one was at the location. The clock on the door said they would return at 2:30 and I was there at 3:05 and still no one was there. I put the keys in the drop box. I was not told I needed to check it in on line. And now the company charged me even more money. $106 for a 2 hour rental. Ridiculous. I will not use them again.
Carrie SI was very happy with American Self Storage of Pickerington. The people I dealt with were very friendly and the van I rented was clean and in great condition. My only negative is that there was a lack of available parking. Since you are renting vehicles, there is a high likelihood that people will leave their personal vehicles in your parking lot while they are using the rental truck. I ended up having to go back home to pick up my wife so she could drive our car back home. This cost me about an additional hour.

David GThe first time I reserved a Uhaul, my brother reserved it and you told us the night before we were to move that the Uhaul was no longer available unless we wanted to drive an additional 100 miles to get to it and you did not pay us anything as compensation for ruining our plans!!!!!! I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone based on that experience. My brother's name is Larry Thursby if you want to look up that reservation that you guys screwed up!!!!!!!
Melanie CI did not particularly like the pick up using my phone. When I initially went to the website, the “Pickup my truck” link was not there. The wait time for assistance was 20+minutes. The wait time for online assistance was about the same. I never got anyone for assistance. Then, after sitting in the lot for almost 30 minutes, I get a text and the link takes me to where I finally find the link to start the pickup process. Once the process started, it went smooth enough. But I wasted a lot of time waiting.
