I would only recommend the location if you are already familiar with the online app. The staff wasn't able to help when there was technical issues returning the truck. It took me almost 30mins to redo the process 5 times. I was worried I was going to be charged another day.Janet W.

This location was great, But I made my reservation for the center on Lindsay St in Norman. But when I got there (I was 45 minutes late) they had rented the motorcycle trailer to someone else . Boy was I pissed. Luckily they located a trailer at the friendly Alameda street location where they sent me. Not happy with the guys at the Lindsay St. location.William L.

Change gas policy. What am I supposed to do drive around to waste gas and your equipment until I reach quarter tank or loose 20 dollars. Gas is to high to waste. Start full and return full no brainer. I know people are lazy but be fair.Lenard W.

I dropped my trailer off on Sunday and put my contract in the night slot but they did not process until Monday so I was charged an extra day. Why do you have locations that will accept drop offs if you are not going to check daily.Paul C.

The gentleman Dennis that rented me the truck couldn't have been more nice and helpful, he was very knowledgeable of the equipment I needed for my move - AMERICAN SELF STORAGE #5 was AWESOME! Will use for sure in the future!Tim M.
The employees at this location were great! But the head/corporate office sucks! I had a truck rented for 2 days and the head/corporate office took it away from this local location just because they wanted to. When a person secures a reservation they expect to have the product the times they reserved it. I was present when the employee contacted "the office" and "the office" attitude about the situation was "too bad-so sad". The local employee told them that I was affected by their decision to give the truck to someone else after he confirmed my reservation..he was not happy either. But did the best he could. You guys need to learn what customer service is! Again, the employee(s) at 2111 E. Alameda were outstanding..."the office" sucks!PAMELA J.

The rental was not clean from the outside. It had dead bugs splatters all over the windshield. The rental bed wasn't clean either. I had to sweep it before loading my stuff. The rental fuel gauge is not working properly, I had to over fell the tank (50$) worth and yet the gauge was showing half tank after I started driving again it started slowly to increase and yet it still doesn't show full tank after I got the receipt.Cameron J.

The attendants were extremely kind & helpful. The location however dis not allow for more than two parking spaces, which I found unrealistic. In addition, the truck that I was provided had not been cleaned out, and smelled of fish. I had to spray with disinfecting deodorizer just to drive the truck.Marisela A.

I scheduled a truck at 1 and show up a few minutes late. And they were closed. I called the place and no one answers, then a lady comes out and asked what I wanted. I then told her I scheduled pick up at 1. And she said it was her lunch. Very rude and acted like I was a bother. After we get thru the process( that I already did online) and she tells me to make sure it's stays swept out. Get I. The truck and it is filthy!!! Disgusting. Ashes and trash in the truck. And the back of the uhaul was even worse. I am in disbelief about how bad the customer service is and how nasty the truck was. And I had to pay more here than any other uhaul. I only came here because my regular uhaul place didn't have my size truck. DO NOT RECOMMEND.Britney T.

Jacked me on the mileage. I overestimated by 25 miles or so, so they just took the estimated miles at 80 miles and charged me that rather than actual. A $30 rental turned out to be $100.Lyn M.
rented on Sat for 24 hrs. Dropped off van and keys in slot on Sun (shop closed/unmanned) Discovered additional charges on card due to shop checking in the van on mon - apparently the uhaul worker no longer worked there. Referred to corporate. Lady there said she was reversing the extra charge. Next day we find another charge - apparently the total was a dollar more than was charged initially. Charging the full amount before returning the initial amount put our account into the negative and I had to borrow money to prevent bank charges for bounced pending transactions that would occur because of the double charge in addition to the extra $96 - essentially, you had almost $350 pulled from the account for a $125 charge and indicated that there was no way to expedite the return of funds. Put us in a bad mood to deal with that during a move. Please find a better way to deal with debit cards.Jennifer C.

Agent told us we could return the truck to corporate owned location as it would be after-hours for him, however, we were told at that location that we could not as it was setup as a "local" move which was a little frustrating. Overall the experience was fine but would have appreciated correct information on the drop-off location.Debbie R.
