I recently used U-Haul for my moving needs and while the truck itself met my expectations, the return process was less convenient than I had hoped for. I initially assumed that I could return the truck to a different location closer to my new home for added convenience. However, it turned out that I was required to return the truck to the same location from which I picked it up. This was particularly inconvenient and unpleasant for me, especially since I had not specifically indicated my preference for the return location upon pickup. This aspect of the service did not align with my expectations and added unnecessary stress to my moving experience.

David NTruck has engine light when we received it, and then when we put gas into it the gas line wasn't correctly maintained and began spilling upon fill up. Now I have an extra $10 charge that I have no clue what it is from nor was it put on the receipt.

william pBest deal in the world, $15 for a motorcycle trailer. Saw a guy drop his bike trying to load it into one of those hitch carriers. I just rolled my Ducti up onto my uhaul, strapped it down, and drove away.

Tara HThis was my third attempt to rent. At the previous location Macs smog the app gave me issues and couldn’t access the 24hr pickup. Called call center and took forever and wasn’t helpful. Then the website was down at this location. People at gas station were nice though. Made me 2 hours late to move the in-laws. I won’t be using U-Haul anymore.

Mohammad YSo I rented it from one place got there and had to call the 800 number to find out they were closed then I had to go to another place and the person there was rude said all my information out loud when there's other customers there told me we weren't renting from there had to tell him to refresh his computer and then said that shouldn't happen I was just an overall bad experience

Michelle MOverall it was a good, no, great experience. It was in a semi-shady part of town but not too bad. I didn't feel threatened. However, it's located at a convenience store. This store only has one person working at a time so when the store has customers it takes a while for them to process the car. For me not a big deal and the guy with the pony tail behind the counter was pretty cool.

Peter PAttendee hooking up trailer didn't secure trailer to the ball hitch and during operation of vehicle the trailer became unhitched and started fish tailing behind the car. Eventually, with slow speed and the trailer coming up and banging against the back of vehicle was able to completely stop the trailer as all that kept it to the back of car were the chains. Looked up video of how to properly secure ball hitch and was able to resume operations.
Eric GTreat them with respect. Have the equipment ready for pick up at time stated in agreement. Don't take other customers ahead of your I haul customer, they're on a time limit!! Don't just throw dolly's in the back of the truck to roll and bang up truck, fasten them down. However, Drop off was easier. Be courteous even IF the renter IS female and older. Thank you.

Denise WGas was at a low 1/4 tank when I picked it up and was an inconvenience to fill gas 1/2 way through my rental. It seemed a convenience to the store that was also a gas station to rent a low fuel truck.

GRANT FHard to guesstimate how much gas to replenish. The gas tank should always be full when starting so you can fill it up the same. I had to fuel-up to same level that I started with and hard to tell when tank is at same level.

Jan aAgent had everything wrong. First he said insurance 13 dollars correct. I said no eight dollars. Then he said total rental 94 dollars. I said no it is 30-40 dollars. He said you are renting for 4 days correct i said no 1 day. I had filled out the complete rental documentation on line so he was just trying to get away with something.
