Never again Uhaul, I reserved at a specific location, you changed locations on me AGAIN, this place was filthy, no internet, took me an extra hour to check out as I had to call customer service, had moving guys on the clock! Empty beer bottles in flower pots at door of UHAUL, up to my ankles in mud to check out a FILTHY truck. Have pics and will use them to convince all social media friends to never use UHAUL. Coffee all over cab, 1/8 gas, dirt in cargo area. Caleb the customer service rep was so pleasant and helped calm me down as I was ready to explode. No, never again Uhaul, it’s Ryder or Penske from here on out. Second time you’ve done me dirty! Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!
LORRAINE DENNINGHOFFReturning the trailer today at American Auto Sales in Mount Vernon Washington was a fiasco. The place was a dump! I arrived at 10 o’clock which is when they supposedly open and no one was there. I text the number we had been texting back-and-forth with over the last couple of days. I walked around the front of the building. Knocked on the door. Tried calling the number on the door. Finally about 10 minutes later he answered the phone and says “yes I’m just back, I’ll be right up front.“ Another 5 to 10 minutes goes by and he finally comes out. He tells me where I have the trailer parked, is not going to work and directs me to another area that is difficult to get into and causes me to nearly hit the trailer against the lamp post in his parking lot. I could see it was close to hitting it and stopped, but he kept telling me to go forward - I refused. But more alarming than that was when he couldn’t physically lift the 12” trailer off of my hitch, he advised me to take the pin out of my hitch and just drive forward so the whole thing would go crashing to the ground. This was not an option for me and a serious safety concern! It could’ve done significant damage to my hitch, ball, my truck and your trailer! After about 10 minutes of him trying to figure out how get to the trailer off my hitch, I decided to get my Toyota 4Runner’s jack out to lift it up high enough to get it on this half assed stand he had. Just as I am about to get it off the hitch, he shows up with a mechanics jack and finishes the lift. Why it took him almost half an hour to figure out how to do that I will never understand. And why he thought pulling the pen and driving forward was a safe option, I will never understand. There are a lot of other good neighborhood U-Haul dealerships in the area. Please revisit this guy’s contract with you. He is a liability to you and anyone who rents from you!!

David AllenScheduled to pickup at 10. Was checking in through app when it said I needed to go inside to get the key. Went to building it was closed. Sign said opens at 10 but no one was there. Hand written note on door with cell phone number, no answer. Contacted customer service through both chat and calls with no help. An hour later the guy shows up with key app says I have completed the pickup but never had me take images and confirm miles and gas level. Called customer service was told to just take pictures and send them when I turn in. Not able to show original pictures at turn in to show mileage or gas at start. Got charged for extra miles for it.
JOSHUA BAKKENThe keys were left in an unlocked lock box, the truck was parked in an incredibly hard spot to get safely out of (upon returning it I left it in a safer location and it is now moved back to the same spot). The back of the truck had leaves and dirt, you could tell it had not been swept. The accessory items I had requested were not in the back of the vehicle either.

Thomas ArmijoThe trailer worked but trailer has an issue. Empty it tows fine. When loaded it shakes and vibrates through my truck hitch. I thought I had a u joint going out. That trailer has either been way overloaded by the looks of ot or it must have a bad wheel bearing. Not sure. As an example for reference. I moved 2 motorcycles. One being under 300 pounds and it vibrated somewhat And the heavier one at around 500 the trailer really vibrated with more load. Be a good idea to check wheel bearings. Something not right as rented a newer one a ways back and performed flawlessly. Hope this helps.

Khaled SaadLast minute switch by uhaul had me go to a different location than the one that I made my reservation for, neither uhaul office had anyone in the office had to go search to find one. The location that I picked mine up had no idea he had to call the owner, took a picture of my id and then there was no user agreement for me to sign just told I was good to go. Was a really bad experience all around.

I dropped it off and they said the owner was not there if I like to wait 1 hour or they would call me after one hour .called before I go and got told to wait until monday🙄.
Manuel CorreaNobody was present in this business we had to call and they came. Took about 45 minutes to check in. When we arrived back to return equipment nobody was there and the open sign had been turned off. We did not have option for mobile drop off. I tried calling customer service and had a 45 minute wait. We were on location waiting trying to figure out what to do for over 30 mins. When we asked to sign the paperwork we were told they didn’t have it but would sign it for us.

ERIC HAMBURGYou guys as a company suck. After doing the “not my area dance” with multiple reps on the phone and calling back three times I was told I could make a reservation to hold a unit if it became available. Called in the AM and was told they had one for me. ( no one had contacted me about it). Was sent to the location in Woodinville, wa inly to be told there was no trailer there and they already had THREE res for the same trailer they didn’t have. That location worked above and beyond to accommodate me eventually finding one 50 miles away in the opposite direction from my travels. What was suppose to be a morning pickup put me back on location at 4pm. Putting everything else behind for an out of state move causing both my wife and I to rearrange clients and costing additional monies.
John NiesThe due time for my van was not made clear to me (8am on Sunday). The information I received said the van was due any time Sunday. I was charged $80 for an extra day's rental since I returned it at 10:30am on Sunday.
Joshua Stromberg-WojcikPlease ask the employees to wear their masks while interacting with customers. Washington is a mask mandated state and I have had to use this facility twice in the last couple of months and dealt with employees not wearing masks both times.

ERIC KOVATCHI had until 6pm on 8/15/20 to return the trailer, I had it returned and unhooked Just before 6pm. I’m talking by a minute maybe. The owner had already left for the day. I tried to check in with the individual I had in the morning but he was no where to be found. He runs a auto shop behind his location. I walked back there to let someone know that I had just dropped off the trailer. I received my receipt afternoon on 8/16/20, where I found out I was charged an extra day. I had only scheduled the trailer for 1 day. My return time states 12:04 on 8/16/20. I was out of town during that time and the trailer was already there. I replied to the email that was on the receipt explaining all of this. I will be visiting this location to discuss this further with the owner. Ridiculously sketchy way of doing business. Would not recommend this location to anyone. Very ghetto (for lack of a better term) set up and location. Place does not look professional by any means.
Brandon DriverTerrible overall experience. Sketchy looking place. Employee was unprofessional and in violation of the state mask law. Never greeted me, I finally had to ask if he worked there. The employee was of no help whatsoever. Never looked up my reservation, I could have taken any trailer I wanted and he would have never known. He provided no help in hooking up the trailer, I had to do it myself. My wife had to suggest that we do a light check on the trailer. We found that the right turn signal was not working. I asked the employee what he was going to do to remedy this, he said "I don't know." I finally took the trailer home and fixed the turn signal myself. The employee never entered into the system that I was in possession of the trailer. I had to resolve this later in the day when asking for a credit for the furniture pads that he did not provide either. The reservation process was also poor. U-haul has no concept of what a RESERVATION is. I made a reservation two weeks in advance to pick up a trailer at the Lake Stevens location. The trailer was not ready at this location and the customer service representative told me I would have to drive more than an hour to pick up a trailer. I will be looking at other options the next time I need to rent.
Jeffery GustI called multiple times to confirm my rental truck was ready and the rep wasn’t helpful. He promised to call me when the truck was ready but I never received a call or update. Had to call him over 10x then he finally answered and said yes the truck is ready. Very dirty office and he didn’t offer a walk-thru on how to operate the vehicle.
Brandon FortmanTruck has a vibration between 60 and 65... I believe the drive shaft is out of balance... it s fine at 70. Like the old tie downs better in truck .
