A key drop would be nice. I would have liked to return the truck in the evening. Also, the truck cockpit was full of food wrappers, empty water bottles and lots of sand on the floor. The service from the staff was excellent!Charles M.

Record correct vehicle odometer readings. You were 100 miles off on my ticket. You wasted 2 and a half hours of my life on hold with Uhauls 1-800 number. Until I finally got someone on the phone. Also the final price was almost $30 more than I was quoted for my trip.Matthew M.

The Mobile App check in had the wrong mileage on it and even though i put the correct information in with photos the system still used the wrong mileage and over charged me $45 dollars. This is the second time in a row Uhaul has messed up and i have had to wait two weeks to get my money back... wont be a third time!Nicholas K.

The people at Amazing Event were indeed amazing! They turned a nightmarish experience into a positive one. We were supposed to return our UHaul trailer to 16877 Whyte Hardee Blvd. in Hardeeville, SC. As we headed out with our empty trailer to return it, we got a text telling us that the lot was full and our return could not be accepted. We called to talk to the owner, but instead of helping us find a new drop off location, he yelled at us, threatened us, and screamed that we should never set foot on his property, all before hanging up on us! The people at Amazing Events only rent trucks, so have no place for trailer returns, yet they allowed us to drop off the trailer and made arrangements with the regional manager for it to be picked up from their location. They went over and above what was necessary to help us out of a bad situation. We truly appreciate the helpful staff of Amazing Events, but would strongly discourage anyone from dealing with the rude and explosive owner of the Whyte Hardee UHaul location.JOHN T.

Due to Moving Help coming late to unload the truck, we paid for extra days. When we attempted to get a credit for the extra fees, we were given the run around between Moving Help and UHaul Truck Rental. What a scam! No one wants to take responsibility. I am very disgusted and would recommend that you find an more dependable company to work with.FRANK C.

The associate who assisted me was friendly and efficient but was unfamiliar with the equipment and how to attach it. Perhaps there should be more training for representatives.Amber S.
Front wiper blades were smaller than factory recommendation size, Rear tires showed uneven wear and low on tread did not realize it until it was shaking down the highway. Motor idle was rough, lots of thing and popping sounds coming from exhaust system under cab after vehicles turned off...All the windows where dirty. U-Haul is a terrible company. They continuously switch your pickup location and it gets farther and farther from your home. And they do it at the last minute and do not provide refunds for this inconvenience. They are horrible. We've spent hours on the phone with them. They switch you from person to person who know absolutely nothing. U-Haul as a company is horrible. This particular location was perfectly fine however.Keven M.

Was frustrated with the system to pick up the vehicle. A lot of the information asked for at time of pickup via the app shouldn't have been necessary and/or could have been done in advance. Also, I did the app for pick up because it was advertised as contactless. Still had to go inside to get the key and pads. Staff was wearing masks, but it does defeat the purpose of why I tried to set it up that way.Michael B.

After a very good Knoxville departure experience, despite a loud and well-worn truck, we returned our 26-footer to the designated South Carolina location, and found they had closed early for virus reasons. A call to the uhaul number led to a 15-minute wait to talk to "Patricia" about how to return the equipment to a closed location. Her *only* offer to help was to text me a LINK TO A VIDEO that would explain how to return equipment using a web browser or the uhaul app. Did I mention that the truck was due, and that we were sitting in an empty parking lot at a closed location?? She eventually transferred me to Josh in the Knoxville regional office, and he gave me a straightforward suggestion for dealing with our situation. It worked out, but took 45 minutes. We're moved, settling in, and glad it's over.David G.

MY ORIGINAL DROP OFF LOCATION (PALMETTO STORAGE) WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE TRUCK. I WENT FROM THERE TO AMAZING EVENTS LOCATION WHICH I LEFT THE TRUCK IN THE LOT AND THE KEYS IN THE UNSECURED MAILBOX ACCORDING TO THEIR AFTER HOUR SERVICE. I HAD TO DRIVE EXTRA MILES IN ORDER TO FIND AMAZING EVENTS WHICH MADE ME GO OVER MY MILAGE LIMIT. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR THAT CHARGE.JOHN S.

Truck not reserved ,poor customer service. No vehicle inspection. Windshield wipers broke in a horrible storm and was very dangerous. Tires low on air. U haul roadside service were nice, those young men saved me.kamela R.
Have the rental in a more convenient location. There are 4 UHaul locations in Beaufort and I had to go all the way to Hardeeville to pick up the truck. The 15' truck had the smallest, most uncomfortable cab for driving I've ever been in. You were subjected to a long distance trip with your legs bent the whole way. There was no room to move your legs at all. It was worse than a golf cart. I had to stop 4x in 200 miles because of severe leg cramps. I'm not that tall but, trust me, there is just no room.Louis B.
This particular vehicle was not equipped with speed control. This feature should be standard on rental trucks. Also, the side view mirrors must be manually adjusted. Electronically adjusted would be much better.Eddie D.
I tried to drop the trailer at 2 other locations, they informed me they were not taking anymore enclosed trailers. I called the area dispatch and she called the regional manager and he told me a place about 10 miles out of the way. He said they would take it. As soon as I pulled in a guy came out and told me he was not taking anymore but luckily I had the managers name and told him he said I could drop it here. The first place I took it to, indicated they had no room and about 60 trailers that the area had not picked up, thus he could not take it. This place I finally got it to had room, but he started to send me away until I mentioned the regional manager.Robert R.

I was told picking up the truck that I would get a discount dropping off any the alternate location. I did not receive a discount and also the staff wasn't helpful with details about the said discount?JORDAN S.
This location worked well but it was not a good rental experience at all. We were shifted from Bluffton to Rincon without a phone call or anything else. Fortunately was able to change to this location. Took multiple phone calls - too much time on hold, disconnected calls, and then info to extend 1 day was not in the record so more Phone calls etc. Was a very stressful experience.Ellen I.
