Was frustrated with the system to pick up the vehicle. A lot of the information asked for at time of pickup via the app shouldn't have been necessary and/or could have been done in advance. Also, I did the app for pick up because it was advertised as contactless. Still had to go inside to get the key and pads. Staff was wearing masks, but it does defeat the purpose of why I tried to set it up that way.

After a very good Knoxville departure experience, despite a loud and well-worn truck, we returned our 26-footer to the designated South Carolina location, and found they had closed early for virus reasons. A call to the uhaul number led to a 15-minute wait to talk to "Patricia" about how to return the equipment to a closed location. Her *only* offer to help was to text me a LINK TO A VIDEO that would explain how to return equipment using a web browser or the uhaul app. Did I mention that the truck was due, and that we were sitting in an empty parking lot at a closed location?? She eventually transferred me to Josh in the Knoxville regional office, and he gave me a straightforward suggestion for dealing with our situation. It worked out, but took 45 minutes. We're moved, settling in, and glad it's over.

MY ORIGINAL DROP OFF LOCATION (PALMETTO STORAGE) WOULD NOT ACCEPT THE TRUCK. I WENT FROM THERE TO AMAZING EVENTS LOCATION WHICH I LEFT THE TRUCK IN THE LOT AND THE KEYS IN THE UNSECURED MAILBOX ACCORDING TO THEIR AFTER HOUR SERVICE. I HAD TO DRIVE EXTRA MILES IN ORDER TO FIND AMAZING EVENTS WHICH MADE ME GO OVER MY MILAGE LIMIT. I WOULD LIKE A REFUND FOR THAT CHARGE.

Truck transmission was not working and truck would not reverse had to return for a smaller truck which wasted my time significantly. It's shocking that uhal would put a truck that is not up to par on the road.

Truck not reserved ,poor customer service. No vehicle inspection. Windshield wipers broke in a horrible storm and was very dangerous. Tires low on air. U haul roadside service were nice, those young men saved me.

Have the rental in a more convenient location. There are 4 UHaul locations in Beaufort and I had to go all the way to Hardeeville to pick up the truck. The 15' truck had the smallest, most uncomfortable cab for driving I've ever been in. You were subjected to a long distance trip with your legs bent the whole way. There was no room to move your legs at all. It was worse than a golf cart. I had to stop 4x in 200 miles because of severe leg cramps. I'm not that tall but, trust me, there is just no room.

This particular vehicle was not equipped with speed control. This feature should be standard on rental trucks. Also, the side view mirrors must be manually adjusted. Electronically adjusted would be much better.

I tried to drop the trailer at 2 other locations, they informed me they were not taking anymore enclosed trailers. I called the area dispatch and she called the regional manager and he told me a place about 10 miles out of the way. He said they would take it. As soon as I pulled in a guy came out and told me he was not taking anymore but luckily I had the managers name and told him he said I could drop it here. The first place I took it to, indicated they had no room and about 60 trailers that the area had not picked up, thus he could not take it. This place I finally got it to had room, but he started to send me away until I mentioned the regional manager.

I was told picking up the truck that I would get a discount dropping off any the alternate location. I did not receive a discount and also the staff wasn't helpful with details about the said discount?

This location worked well but it was not a good rental experience at all. We were shifted from Bluffton to Rincon without a phone call or anything else. Fortunately was able to change to this location. Took multiple phone calls - too much time on hold, disconnected calls, and then info to extend 1 day was not in the record so more Phone calls etc. Was a very stressful experience.

I don't know if it was the weather or the agents at the very first uhaul I stopped at and the drop off site. But they had nasty attitudes. The lady at the uhaul were the auto transport was stolen from their storage. She was great, very nice and pleasant. The guy at the Argent location said he wasn't feeling well. The guy at the drop off location was not so nice. I guess I came in too close to quitting time. Overall what would you do without uhaul? We need them

first they did not verify mileage or fuel of truck did not do a walk around with a check list second they said i drove 70 miles i did probably 20-30 miles. Then on my paper work it said half a tank the truck was almost full tank when I took truck form location a lot of confusion was gonna charge me $139.99 but credited me and charged me $99.99

Clean the windshield, inside and out, and check the tire pressure. I needed to clean my rental ‘s windshield . All of the tires were 8-10 lbs below maximum pressure shown on the tires.

I was charged 3 times on my CC for a 15 ft truck? How did $29 a day!? NOT! More like $300...never again! I had no damages and the tank was full! Bad customer service!

Two items on this location: 1) The vehicle I received was listed as 3/4 full, but when I started it up, it was only 1/2 full. I brought the agent, Stephanie, out to verify, and she initialled my paper contract for the discrepancy, but she DID NOT actually UPDATE the system, so when I dropped the vehicle off, the receiving agent had a big hassle making the correction. The correct thing to do would have been for Stephanie to update the system with the actual fuel level that she had seen with her own eyes. 2) There is a woman in that office - never got her name - that SHOULD NOT be answering phone calls from customer. I got her on the phone three different times in the course of this engagement, and she has HORRIBLE customer service skills! These two items kept me from giving a 5-star rating, because the vehicle was EXCELLENT. By the way, I incurred an extra charge of a couple dollars due to taxes related to Item#1, above. The receiving agent was able to waive the additional fuel charge, but could not remove the taxes...

When I picked up my ubox in South Carolina, there were two bags of furniture blankets inside. I lifted one of the bags as several very large cockroaches ran out. The ubox was parked in a partially wooded area of the gravel parking lot so I think that is where they came from. We showed the person at the uhaul facility and she told us to buy some roach spray, (Misty was very nice about it and got us some new furniture blankets). We had to spray the entire box with roach spray before we loaded the box. After the ubox arrived in Wisconsin 9 days late, the box and the contents still smelled like roach spray and everything had to be wiped and washed.

For starters I would not rent a truck with a leaking roof. It was pouring rain, everything I owned got wet. My $1500 gel mattress was soaked, all my boxes were wet on the bottom and fell through when we removed them from the truck. All my clothes were wet and needed to be dried. All my Pier one wood furniture was wet, my electronics were wet (still don't know if they even still work) While on the second story I noticed the top of the truck was previously damaged. There was some sort of metal looking tape on it. WELL NEWS FLASH, TAPE DOES NOT WORK!! All I was offered in the store when I returned the truck was an apology, not even a refund or discount. Well your sorry doesn't pay for my ruined items. I will be going to corporate with this.

The place I picked up the truck was great. However the whole UHaul experience sucked. First uhaul changed my location. I had movers at my home at 150 dollars an hour. I went to the location that Uhaul gave me and they had no trucks that fit my order so I had to drive around for an hour to find a truck. I ended up back to the original place that I reserved and Uhaul changed to get a truck. I will rent from penske next time.
