I reserved a truck to pick up in Meadow Vista and was redirected to Alta Sierra the night before my pickup. The location in Grass Valley/Alta Sierra was 30 minutes away from my home which was very inconvenient on moving day. The employee at pickup was not trained or knowledgeable on checking out the truck there for I had to call customer service and do the transaction over the phone while I waited in the gas station. In order to improve for the next customer, it would be great if the pickup location wasn't changed the day before pickup. I made a reservation about a month in advance and the reservation was pointless as the truck was not ready as reserved and the dolly I reserved was not included.

The Alta Sierra Station was awesome. They took good care of us as a small community should. The Truck Share situation was ridiculous and did not work at all. I am tech friendly and their system sucked!

Solomon BBecause of this location I will NEVER rent haul again!! I reserved on line showed up to pick up truck and the guy behind the counter had No idea what to do, so he got someone on the phone and he was able to talk is through it but when I tried returning it OMG!! Now we can't get the guy on the phone and cashier dude doesn't know what to do so I had to get online and go threw a bunch of bullshit to return the truck. It took me almost 45 min!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Fuck Uhaul next time I will use Home Depot
Mary MThe girl at the gas station had no idea how to complete a uhaul transaction. The guy she called completed paperwork over the phone. It was pretty slow. There was no walk around, so we took pictures of previous scratches. The check engine light came on just outside of Reno. The truck had not been swept and the blankets were not well folded. ( We refolded all of them, even though we only used a couple.) The Alta Sierra location was not the location we'd selected and added extra mileage and time to our trip.
