We scheduled early pick up and followed the online steps to access the truck. There was no lock on the back, so it was just a matter of rolling up the back door to retrieve the key. The requested equipment was not in the truck, which was also still dirty from the last use. We were stuck on hold with customer service for ONE HOUR, by which time the location finally opened. The store employee was uncaring and did not believe we had requested equipment. The customer service rep who had finally taken our call had to convince him we had in fact ordered a utility dolly and pads. Then he tried to give us an appliance dolly, and acted like we were the ones who didn’t know the difference. It was a nightmare that set us back an hour while the moving help (hires through the UHaul rental process) arrived at their scheduled time and had to wait for us. I will never do early pick up again or agree to a location that is not a UHaul store (which was requested this time a week in advance, but was changed by UHaul two days before the move).

When I brought it back, I filled the truck with gas. They told me I was 2 gallons short and made me take the truck down the street to put 2.3 gallons of gas in. Totally ridiculous.

The market owner or employee was among the rudest, most disrespectful people I’ve ever met. A terrible customer service experience! Go somewhere else....ANYWHERE else!!!

The man behind the counter when I went to pick up the truck was very rude and he wanted me to pay again even though I prepaid.. After some discussion gave me the truck and all went well after that.

I think your business is a great concept, and I think you'll be around for a long run. But at the same time I think also there should be a way to have the windows/ mirrors washed on your trucks inside and out. It's a safety thing and the truck I had the windows were filthy inside the outside and so is the outside of the truck. It was in good running Tip-Top shape as I expected. You guys have come a long way. I understand you might not have a wash facility at a lot of locations. But you might have a lot boy just do windows and mirrors for your customers safety. Thank you so much

It took 45 minutes to get my rental and then I was charged way too much for one gallon of gas, I don't see why it is 8 dollars for a gallon of gas. Very disappointing. U haul is not very customer friendly

A customer service number that you can actually reach someone at a timely manner. Being on hold for half an hour doesn’t make this “experience” satisfactory by an means. Then when you get an actual person on the phone, they sound as if they just woke up or are bothered by you actually holding for 30 minuets to speak to them to resolve your matter. Other than that, going through the app and not having to deal with human interactions because of the above statement makes it some what easier to rent a truck and return it without any issues.

Owner of business was extremely kind, professional, and helpful.

Reserved truck online, store owner quickly looked up my reservation and released the truck to me upon arrival. Returned truck to same location later that evening and Frank was quick and friendly. The truck was newer and in great shape. Prices were very reasonable and service was excellent. Would recommend.
