Please service your truck! I had a check engine light, an abs light, service stability and traction control lights and a message about the gas cap. When I asked the lady up front she said it had been shwcks out and was ok. I was only using the truck to pick up cases of Girl Scout cookies for my troop and wasn't using it long nor did I have any other options to get them and had to be there by a certain time. So I drove it. It was nerve racking to drive a big truck I wasn't used to with service messages flashing and a bunch of lights on the dash so please fix this!Carole W.

The location is great. It's the process that's terrible. I reserved a truck on 24/7 but no keys when I got there. They moved the reservation to another truck but the UHaul page said I wasn't at the right location so I had to wait 44 minutes until the shop opened, which made me really late.Melody D.

I cannot tell you how greatly satisfied we are with this U-Haul location. I think the lady's name is Carolyn that works there. She is the friendliest lady and so easy to work with. We have a storage unit there and have rented vehicles from Carolyn many times in the past. We never have any issues and it's always a pleasant experience.John T.

Our experience with the reservation was absolutely horrible. We asked for a 26' Truck to be picked up in Cartersville, GA on Friday, September 16th and to have labor supplied on Saturday, September 17th. I got a call from U-Haul stating that the 26' truck would not be available to pick up in Cartersville but we could pick up one in Acworth, GA only 15 minutes south of Cartersville so we agreed to do that. I received another call from the U-Haul agent in Acworth on Friday to verify we still needed the truck and she gave us instructions on how to remotely pick up the truck after hours in Acworth. I then received an email from the moving company supplying the labor saying they could not keep the labor commitment and I would need to change the reservation and find another supplier. I tried to do it online but could not find a way to change the labor portion of our existing reservation. I called U-Haul and they found another company to help us on Saturday. Apparently in the middle of doing that, the U-Haul agent changed our pick up location from Acworth, GA to Odessa, FL near Tampa. When we arrived in Acworth at 1:00 AM Saturday we checked our pick up information and that's when we noticed the pickup was changed to Odessa, FL and we could not pickup our truck even though we were in the parking lot looking at our truck. We called U-Haul and they told us they were sorry but couldn't help us in Acworth but we could pick up a 20' truck in Cartersville, GA at 9:00 AM Saturday morning. We really wanted a 26' truck but there were none available so we agreed to take the 20' truck. What a total nightmare we experienced with U-Haul who in the past had been very helpful and with few issues. Not sure we will count on them in the future. KirkKirk M.

We were promised to pick up locally but had to go 40 miles one way to pick up a truck. The truck doors did not shut, driver door had a massive leak resulting in me not being able to drive during the rain (I had to pull over) and when we opened up the back of the truck in the cab the "moms attic" was leaking too, resulting in all of my boxes getting soaked and ruined. My experience here was TERRIBLE the older lady that works at the front desk was VERY rude from the time I called on the phone to the time I walked in the door to rent a uhaul her customer service was not very welcoming at all. As far as the uhaul it kept shaking really bad as if it was going to cut off on us at any moment there was a note in the truck that said just to Ignore the check engine light being on when it fact I feel like they shouldn't have rented it Out cause it drives terrible ! Upon arrival to location the store sign said closed with return time of 9am when the store website said it was open to the public. Huge inconvenience when the battery on your cell phone is low and you are already running late. So I had no choice but to rent the uhaul online. When renting it ask me what location I would be returning the equipment to, which lead me to believe that I could make a one way trip with the truck. Even more of an inconvenience. On the return day, I went to the uhaul down the street from my home in dallas and they informed me that I had to return the uhaul back to cartersville location. Which is 45 minutes away. I was almost late returning it because of that and didnt have time to stop to top the tank back off with gas. After dropping off the uhaul, I get a phone call from the employee at the uhaul facility 2 hours later stating I left the tank 1/4- 1/8ths, more on the 1/8ths sideline my opinion. lower in fuel than when I picked it up and she wanted me to come back and go full it up with gas. I live almost an hour away so no I wasn't going back 45 mins away to fill it up. I ask her to charge me for that but I disnt think it would've been $20 worth of fuel. After all gas is only $1.81 right now. Max it would've cost is $6-10. The quote I received was for $58 and some change or so. My final bill was $102. She gave me no explanation of why such a pricey fee for the gas. I understand I have to pay milage at $.79 but gee. Price gouge on the gas much? I highly doubt that I will return to another uhaul facility. Poor service. And fyi, the truck was dirty and reeked of cigarette smoke too. I'm very displeased with uhaul at this time.Ann M.

I got a quote on line for 29.95 for a 17 foot but they bumped me to a 20 foot and directed me to this location. The lady their said she didn't have me in her computer? I didn't think to write anything down, as Uhaul directed me to her location! I wasn't even looking for a 20 foot truck. She said without a number to look for my quote she'd have to start over. I explained I new she didn't have a 17 foot truck and it had given me a 20'foot truck and she said I was right. I said for $29.95 the same price. Apparently she needed to charged me the extra because she said I had never rented before from Uhaul which is untrue. I just rented in July and pulled it up before I came to her. Should I now be weary of big brands and all people over age 70? I am 51 and appalled I even put more gas on than her 5/8th requested and don't see a credit for that! I won't be renting from her establishment again. I would have called her myself my mind was set yesterday with her answers she gave when I would ask a simple question. Very disappointed in the Uhaul Brand. The miles were 28 miles. Back and fourth from my home witch is farther than her place of business and I am disappointed she would say it was more.Pamela L.
