Inspect the equipment for complete operation prior to renting. The right ramp on the trailer was broken and was not safe to use. Called Road Side Assistance and the sent someone to look at it, she said to just wedge it in there and it might stay. Not good, had to go get a replacement rental and that took 4 more hours to complete due to the paperwork mess up. Not a good time.

When returning the truck and following the instructions on the provided web link for around 35-40 minutes I repeatedly had to restart the process of taking a picture of the odometer due to error messages telling me about "not enough memory" my phone had over 80 gigabytes free. I had to use someone else's phone to get it to work but in the end it pushed me over my deadline for return.

I could not get my reserved truck! The mobile app did not work and no one was onsite! I won't be using U-Haul ever again. I rented a Home Depot truck and was very happy with it!

I made a reservation for a location near me on San Jose Blvd. No one called or texted that this would not be the pick up location. I have used this store numerous times with excellent results. This time was a horrible experience. My ride had to be home and when I was told the truck was elsewhere I stated I expected some help getting there. Both people working that day were rude and offered no assistance. I told the female that she owed me some help. Her response…”I don't owe you anything. I work here to feed my child”. The male could care less that I, an elderly woman, had no way to get to the correct location. Had to have my son miss an appointment that was scheduled a month out to drive me. Went to another wrong location…my fault as I assumed and didn't have an address. Great customer service…they wrote out the correct address. Picked up from a wonderful woman finally. So disappointed and shocked at the Mandarin location. Not the business it used to be…

Overcharged for an emergency. I called letting them know my 6 year old was admitted to cardiac icu because of a medical emergency and I couldn't possibly get it returned. What horrible customer service! $300 for a simple move a few miles away.

The folks were nice and accommodating. The issue was a system issue that created a delay in processing. It took about 90 minutes from start to finish before we could get on the road.

I was incorrectly charged a 2GL refuel expense but I showed the rental owner a picture that I took showing the check out fuel gauge vs. check in. (Having also provided a gas receipt where I put two gallons in the vehicle that I only used 26 miles) The checkout paperwork gauge was only provided electronically and I could not read where it was a 1/4 of a tank incorrect until I got home and was able to print it out. Bottom line, I was charged $12 for excess fuel expense and the check out invoice was not provided immediately upon end of use but later where I could not dispute the bill.

Person was not there and a sign on the door said they'd be back soon with a phone number. After waiting a bit, I called and was told to just drop the key in the drop box. Not a big deal but would have been nice to say that on the sign too.

This location did not have anyone there during posted hours. I dropped off where Uhaul texted me and asked me to drop off and then when I did, the app wouldn't allow me to return the truck online. I had to waste my time calling customer service, they said the location was closed for the week and couldn't "return" my truck until someone was there to check it in. Overall terrible experience that cost me way too much time. Why send e to a location that is closed for a week??? Bad location, bad job by Uhaul.

I had a reservation to pick up at the San Jose Blvd location, which I a confirmation from UHAUL via email. However, when I showed up, I was told that they did not have any of the trailers I had reserved despite me visually seeing them on their lot. When I asked about those on the lot, I was told they were reserved. I pointed out that I also had a reservation and was there/ready to pick up, but the manager and employees refused to issue me the trailer despite having a reservation. As a result, I was forced to drive another 15 miles away to the Philips Highway location.

Your phone customer service sucks ASS. We were lied to about receiving a military discount. I called and spoke to a representative and requested to speak to a supervisor. I asked the supervisor (Sarah) to hold for a second and she hung up after 3 seconds. (Guess I should have said can you wait for 5 seconds). I called back and requested to speak to another supervisor (Charlene or something) she lied to me and said they would pull our reservation call and call me back, guess what, SHE NEVER CALLED BACK!!! Would I recommend U-haul, heck no!!!! I said yes to this location because it wasn't their fault I was LIED to, hung up on, LIED to again. Had I known I would have went through all of this I would have taken my business elsewhere. This experience was a NEGATIVE 10.

While dropping off the truck at the location after hours and my friend was waiting in his car at the parking lot to pick me up. One of the guys came out suddenly and literally threatened my friend to immediately move the car as there was some private meeting. Its a business location and you can't threaten a customer (who is waiting for valid reason) like that!

As you can see. My drop location was wrong. I booked a one way to georgia and the drop off shows Jacksonville. One of your workers called me to give me an update drop off at 2175 piedmont road ne Atlanta GA 30334, but they said they don't accept that kind trucks. They referred me to another location 2855 Clairmont rd 30329, the front desk lady rudely told me they won't accept it, at that point I was furious why uhaul don't speak with themselves but allow the customer to be in the midst of their disconnection and lack of communication. I almost missed my flight back to Florida. I ended up misplacing my drivers license while hurrying to meet up. This should be addressed and the lady at 2855 Clairemont should be trained on how to attend to client

The original drop-off sent me to another drop-off on Sunbeam Rd in Jacksonville, Fl 6 miles away, Then that drop-off on San Jose Rd refused to take the truck as well, and said to call someone else to receive. He didn't even refer, call, or even try to help me. AWFUL customer service, from the rental to the drop-off

I was chargeD for 300 miles driven for less than a 5 hour time frame when I only drove 26.4 miles. I never realized how important it is to take photo records of things like mileage so that Uhaul representatives don't take advantage of people. I didn't realize what kind of a shady company uhaul is.

The building was closed when I dropped off truck 8-12-20202 and nobody was there. Sign on door said they would be back on Sunday. I called the phone numbers on the door but there was no answer. I left voice mail. I left the rental truck parked next to other U-Haul trucks on the site and left the keys in the key drop-off box. I was later billed for 10 extra days which makes no sense. I am disputing those fraudulent charges.
