We forgot to tell them that the truck was making a funny noise like a belt was slipping on it when we returned it. ?? May need looked at.

Pick up site was not conveniently located, it was 40 miles from my starting point outside of my town that has 3 uhaul facilities within it.

It isn't the location as much as the inconvenience of not being able to pick the uhaul up at one of the stores near I64. And I wasn't told the store would be closed or that I would need a code for a lock. So I panicked when I drove up and the store was closed. And I was thankful I had wrote the number down. Also I was told uhaul would add miles because of the inconvenience. But when I called back to add the miles the person I spoke with said no. Then I was charged over $80 for extra mileage. That is very poor customer service to tell someone one thing then change it and charge them that much money. And that little spill at the beginning of the phone call about we record this so we can keep our "promises" is a lie. I think you should keep your promises and the $80 should be refunded!

The 30 Black Creek Rd Clay City location was nice and the staff was very friendly. There was a problem with the computers the day I was in there and it took awhile to fumble through things, but a good experience overall. However, my original rental reservation at 121 MASTERSON LN in MOUNT STERLING was not pleasant. I received 2 confirmation times, 11am via voicemail and 10am via email, and unfortunately I based my reservation time on the voicemail and did not verify the time prior to arrival. I arrived at the location at approximately 10:57am and was informed that the rental had “just left” with another renter. The associate informed me that he “usually holds a reservation for 30mins past reservation time. After speaking with customer service on the issue, the call resulting in my erroneous voicemail confirmation time was submitted for review, however I have yet to receive a follow up.

No one there had to put key in drop box,had to drive an extra 48 miles to drop truck,plus had to pay someoned to pick me up after trick drop

I thought I was renting the truck for 24 hrs. Picked it up at 8am and had to return it at 2pm, only drove about 36 miles charges total about $88. Plus gas fill up. I don’t think the problem is Allen’s Hardware, it’s Uhaul.

This location needs a larger variety of more vehicles and parts for its customers.

trailer was filthy. I had to sweep it out but there was oil on the floor that ended up soiling our couch. No excuse to pick up a trailer, spend $96 to end up with dirty furniture. Will look elsewhere next time

They were extremely friendly and apologetic for Uhaul's inefficiency. They said they had the 10' truck for three days. How it couldn't make it to Lawton is beyond me. How can you tell me on the internet that I had a reservation and then not be able to actually fill it. And then I'm the one that has to go out of my way to get to a different location 70 miles away to get the truck. Unacceptable.
