When I made the reservation it was 6 miles from my home When I did the pick up 220 miles round trip to pick up trailer!! Lady on phone didn’t like my language!! Ha ha she didn’t have to do the drive to pick up trailer No one checked lights at pick up Ur they did at return! All worked but wtf? Overall They didn’t wa treturn atdrop off because I didn’t have a reservation to drop off!but when they saw a trailer they wanted it wasnt a problem Bad joke on me But needed a trailer and they supply me one!! Giant pain in theass

The reservation process through U-Haul was really frustrating. I was told I would get a call two days before I needed the truck to let me know if there was a truck. No call. When I tried customer service by phone I was told I had to wait another day to hear and then got cutoff. When I called back I got someone who actually connected me with scheduling and told me that I in fact had a truck for my pickup date. Why is this so difficult?

I droped the trailer of at 4:30 august 29 th ,to an employee of u haul .in Buana vista colo ,we were told all was good if any issues he would let us know .then on friday august 30 th i was billed an additional 270$ and the lied on the return date ,posted 11 am the 30 th ,these people are a rip off dont do business with them

Facility was not open as promised. U-Haul customer service is horrible, somewhere between incompetent and fraudulent. Only after I picked up the trailer, was I told the return location was not available and I had to drive 1 hour each way to go elsewhere. After negotiating a day that works for me, I find that the online return doesn’t work. Then I’m told that if I left the trailer, I might be changed an extra day!! How can you not know?? But this is all the fault of U-Haul, not either location.

It was very challenging to get the UHaul app working to be able to sign off on the vehicle. I was dropping off after hours so there was no one to assist me with the process and the key drop box indicates not to leave keys unless you have successfully log out online or have spoken with a sales associate. I was able to do neither so I was at the lot until 1:30AM for an hour and a half trouble shooting. It would be nice to be able to just drop the keys if you are having trouble with the app like you used to be able to do.

No improvement needed on this one! The equipment was ready, the process was quick, the price was reasonable, the moving of the vehicle went without a hitch, and the return was quick and simple, even though the vendor was closed by the time we got back. Will use them again!

I got 2 hours notice that I would need to pick up the haul 40 min away. There is no accountability for the people who have ihaul locations. The original place I wanted to go was closed. How does I haul not know these things.

I ordered and prepaid for a dolly to move my stuff and never got one. It was not in the truck when we picked it up and there were no instructions about where else to pick up the dolly even though I already paid for one and since I did everything online I’m not even sure where to go to get my money back.

Hired moving help from website and THEY NO SHOWED!! We had to unpack the truck into storage by ourselves. We are both over 60 years old. Put us in a very dangerous and precarious position. You need to vet these companies better.

Absolutely a horrible experience. I ordered my rental on Monday the 5th of November. I received two confirmations by email from Uhaul during the week. Then five (5) hours prior to pick-up, I get a call from the Denver Federal and 23rd Uhaul location that they didn’t have the truck I ordered. They offered a smaller vehicle with a trailer but I explained that would not work for the location I was moving to due to roads conditions. They told me there were no 26’ trucks available in Denver and sorry. Staff Absolutely made no attempt to help me and the situation. They finally said there was another truck in Evergreen Colorado but they could not get the truck for me or confirm it was available. I asked to talk to the manager and was then told there was a truck available on South Sante Fe Drive in South Denver, 30 minutes further south from my requested location. They gave me $50 off my rental. So I receive an email from Uhaul with the location change and called the new location manager to confirm. I talked with the manager Zander who confirmed my rental details and time. All appeared to be good in spite of having a further drive to the pickup location. When I arrived at the Denver Santa Fe location, I was told there was no vehicle available for me and I had to drive 20 minutes further south to another location. I talked with Zander and was told “traffic” made the change and it was out of his hands. There was 26’ truck parked right in front but I was told that it was taken! Zander gave me $50 off my rental. I finally was able to pick up a truck at the South Broadway location after two hours of bullshit from Uhaul and then I had an hour drive home. It cost hours of daylight that I could have used moving, delayed our departure the next morning and almost cost us the entire live (including all of the labor I had procured to help with the move). There was absolutely no help from the first location. The second was somewhat better. The first made no effort to assist in finding a truck nor in getting a truck to the location that was convenient for me. At the very least, Uhaul could have helped me by picking up the vehicle and taking it to the location that was convenient for me. You guys gave me $100 to avoid any type of convenience when a $15 an hour employee could have spent an hour or two to move the truck, saving me 3-4 hours and a really pissed off customer. I will be more than happy to share my story with others and will not recommend your services James Weatherly
