Still waiting for my $50 credit. Was supposed to get that due to N State Street location not having key available for us when we originally picked up. Very rude customer service representative offered $50 for my inconvenience which I accepted. I expect that ASAP. Horrible experience up north. I got a call about 2 days before I was supposed to pick up the 20' truck at the Belsay road station and was told that I needed to go to Dort Hwy to get it because Belsay Rd no longer had a 20' truck. I was supposed to pick up my rental truck at 10:00 am. At 9:30 on the day I am to pick up my rental, I get a call stating that I can't come to the Dort Hwy store because they have a homicide across the street and the road is closed to them. They send me back to the Belsay rd store where I get a 26' for the same price.Kurt J.

I have used this facility for about 8 years, first as outside storage for our boat, then to store household goods in one of the 10x20 garage units. It is conveniently located close to I-69, only minutes from I-475, I-75, and US-23. The truck was leaking my mattress got all wet and mobile app was horrible would not let me return truck had to wait on hold with customer service for 58 minutes. After moving all day horrible servicePatricia B.

The truck it's self was dirty on the outside. Inside the box of the truck was a little dirty, but not bad. Brakes were a little on the rough side. But it could have been because it was a different vehicle then what I am use to driving on the daily.. but I would still check them out to be sure before it is rented to someone else, just to be safe. I had to call customer service several times for issues with my reservation and out of the 3 people I talked to , only 2 were polite and helpful. The other 1 was very rude and not helpful at all. I suggest having him take a couple courses in how to talk to a customer.Casey B.

I don't appreciate getting changed more on top of $140. Like an extra $70. I put gas in it. Even returned it back to the original drop off that was suppose to save me $60. Also put $25 in the tank they then charge me for more gas. The gage was where it was supposs to be. They marked it down lower. Very very poor customer service.Eva C.
When renting out a truck and reserving 2 weeks in advance and getting a phone call the day before saying its not available at that location, but we Had to go to Imaly City to get the truck, which was farther away. Then once we got to Imaly City they were closed. So then had to call and find out what was the deal. Then we were sent to Burton which was another 30 minutes away. All in all we wasted over 3 hours of our time trying to get a truck which we had reserved for North Branch location, and that truck was there 2 days before our pick up date because we were checking out the hitch on it to see what we needed to hook trailer behind it. Very disappointed in the run around we received!Daniel N.

U Haul changed my pick up location 2 days before my pick up was scheduled after I had already confirmed the first location. That's alright, I still got the U-Haul. So the day of, I pick up the U-Haul at the new location and I'm in the process of loading all my things on to it and I get a voicemail that says I have been assigned to a new drop off location and the address will be sent to me via text. Alright fine. It ain't that much farther. So at the end of the day I go to drop off at this new drop off location and it is locked via gate with nowhere to leave the truck. I call U-Haul and the lady was very apologetic and tried to get to the bottom of it. I ended up having to take it back to my original drop off location! Then to add insult to injury, when I dropped it off, it said I would be charged $2 for an extra 6 miles!!! Really? Change my pick up AND drop off locations multiple times then be petty enough to charge me $2! That 6 miles came from going from between the two drop off locations! The $2 wasn't worth challenging it at the time because I had been trying to return said truck for over an hour already waiting for the new (old) drop off location. It just doesn't feel like the left hand knows what the right hand is doing and it made my family have to wait over an hour for a simple drop off for my return.Andrew K.

Rented on the 24/7 online site. Don't rent online the customer service representative was extremely rude and unhelpful. Renting online was supposed to be faster but it wasn't. Sat outside the storage unit place for 30 minutes trying to get the rental steps you have to do when you're at the location to go through wasn't working so I called the number and the lady was rude and just said sorry you have to wait. Wouldn't try to do anything to accommodate me and help me move it faster basically just told me sorry you have to wait.Brian D.

That gas mileage gauge is only in the green saving range when the truck idles, is coasting or if your foot isn't on the pedal.jody M.

The hitch should have been installed tighter. I tightened it when I got home. My on line uhaul pickup message showed 8:00 for pickup, but that location doesn't open till 9:00. The pick up time should take into account when the store opens. I did get a phone call from the pick up location so it wasn't a problem at all. I'm not criticizing the rental location, I criticizing the on line notification.GEORGE E.

the place we picked up was awesome. I DO NOT appreciate renting a 12' trailer with NO wheel on the hitch. This is TOO heavy to pick up. The lady at the rental site had to help hitch it up. We had to use a car jack to get it off the hitch. POOR set up!!!!Rodney J.

I arrived 15 minutes before the pick up time and was asked to come back later. The clerk did not review the truck with me for prior damage or go over operating procedures. I had to ask which truck it was. There were four customer parking spots, I parked in slot two, I was "directed" to move my car to slot three or four. The truck had very little gas in it when I picked it up. When I asked about that she said there were gas stations in either direction.Brian W.

They are very very rude at this location. I was told that even though I checked in online they needed to see our drivers Licenses, which is fine, but the woman said its because I could be a dishonest person. Not just because they need to verify. I am a hosp .Admin for a vet. Hosp I would never let an employee talk to a customer the way they do at this location. Then I called today becaus ethe total on my bank statement was for the entire amt of 120.68 instead of the $40. And again it was my banks fault and the girl got all nasty because I was questioning it and again very very rude! Never will rent from this location again!CHARLES W W.
