The truck I rented was not available, neither was the next size up. Instead of a 17' I ended up with a 26' and they charged me for the bigger size even though that is not what I reserved. When I made the reservation, they said I could pick up on Sunday and only pay for Monday. However, again they charged me for Sunday and Monday. I will not be going back to this location. Very disappointed.

Tried to return truck in late afternoon using UHaul app. Could not advance beyond the service screen. Could not return using the online option. Should not be charged the return fee.

Wasn't informed that we would have to do online checkout. Would've dropped keys in box without taking photos if it wasn't for another customer who advised. Other customer did exactly that, improper return.

The equipment left on the deals lot that can't perfome the task required should not be put on hold. The dorp off location had no one in the office around 10 am when the truck and trailer were dropped off. The times on the door showed they should have been open 8 to 12. One smaller truck 14' had it's passenger door left open and the rain was coming in so I closed it.

Easy to schedule. Check in was efficient. Nice that you can take pictures of items such as the mileage and fuel amounts on your phone. Would rent again. I do wish this location also had a pick up truck as we didn't need the full 10' moving truck, but that was the smallest they had.

nothing. Joe is wonderful. He does his job 110% always. Will always recommend the store. Always ask for joe. He will move mountains to help people. Thats awesome to say about an employee. kudos to him. The store is a great place to help you with such a stressful thing such as moving. They make it easy and least amount of stress possible. Go Granville Station location!!

I believe that this truck had a low tire when I picked it up. Shortly after picking it up, I noticed a pull to the left. The following morning the left front tire was nearly flat. Being a mechanic, I inspected the tire for anything that could have punctured the tire. Eventually I found that the valve core was leaking, I had new valve cores, so I replaced it. Did not have any more problems with the tire. After 400 miles of a 600 mile trip, I found out that the dolly that I was hauling my pickup truck with, had no taillights, this was at about 1am. I continued anyway and got to my destination. I never did find out if the problem was with the dolly or the truck. I informed the dealer when I returned the equipment. This was only a small part of the problems I had, there were issues involving the dolly specifically and my time and fuel getting both items together.

I have rented from other U-Haul in MKE and this was the most pleasant, speedy and easy experience ever. The young man who checked me in was patient with this old lady with no smart phone skills. He helped me get it all done and never seemed frustrated with me. I wholeheartedly recommend this location!!!!

My daughter specifically called this location to ask whether or not the 10 foot truck we reserved had room for 3 passengers. The employee was at first unsure. She asked him to confirm and was told yes. No, that is wrong. We had to change our entire plans and bring a second car along for the move to Madison. This last minute scrambling was not a good start to the day. I think a discount on what we paid is deserved.

They said I could not drop it off in Madison- that I had to drive it back to their store. Not sure if that is UHaul Policy or their own store policy, but it was inconvenient and expensive, adding on 61 mi..

Make it very clear when explaining to customers that they need to drop off keys in the "drop box" and possibly have a bigger sign indicating where it is. Had to pay for a locksmith since I unexpectedly arrived after closing hour due to the traffic jam and had locked the key inside for security reasons.

you need to have alternate methods of issuing receipts. Not everyone has a smart phone or an e-mail address.

Location was ok, Uhaul, not so much. Was supposed to pick truck up 5 miles from my house at 7am. 2 days before my move I was told I had to pick it up 30 miles from my house at 9am. I had it reserved well in advance.

We noticed that the back door sticks sometimes. Maybe this is normal? Great in person customer service when we picked up. 5 Stars for Rebekhoh. Online return just isn’t as nice as in person but we managed to figure that out. Thank you for having a truck available for us on a Sunday! :-)

TERRIBLE customer service. The gentleman at the counter on Saturday 2/16 said the absolute minimum amount of words to checkout the truck to me. He didn’t acknowledge me when I walked in. We waited for 10 min and when I came to the counter he barely said anything and didn’t apologize for the wait. It also shouldn’t have taken him that long to complete the transaction. He was moving like a sloth, worst than the DMV.

The individual that checked me in was a jerk with an attitude. I have rented several trucks over the past 5 years & have always used Penske, there prices were always the best, this move U-Haul was the best so I decided to use you. The individual who waited on me was crabby, unpleasant & when I asked questions regarding the truck he was snippy & short with me. He was angry and rude, I will let everyone I know NEVER to use the Pewaukee Uhaul location. I am in a service industry position myself and if I was an idiot like this guy I wouldn’t have a job. To have him use the Uhaul name & brand is a disgrace to your company !

I tried to return my rental for 30 minutes. The website and app both were not working for me and would never submit my final return. It charged me the price per mile fee 4 times! Had to sit out in the cold and just fuss with it. Horrible return experience

I requested to not have insurance for the truck online when I made the reservation. When I picked up the truck, the credit card machine automatically selected adding insurance to the total cost. I manually unselected that option. When I dropped the truck off and did the electronic turn in process I saw that I had been charged for insurance even after specifying twice that I did not want it.

I recommend that you intentionally explain safe move before you charge someone. Most credit cards cover insurance so this is an unnecessary charge. Uhaul did reimburse this when i complained.

Only problem was that the furniture covers weren't put in the truck, and I didn't notice until then. However Rebecca the lady who helped me, drove them out to my house personally. This was the best U-Haul experience I had - it was a breeze compared to some other times I have rented. Usually it takes forever.

I didn't like the new U-Haul.com check in return. It was hard to even find how to begin the process. When told to take pictures, instructions didn't say click on OK. Took a while to find that. After completing everything, I got a message stating "error on our end, start over". Tried unsuccessfully to chat with a representative. I gave up and just left. Later received an email with final billing statement. I guess it worked after all.

The truck size we had requested was not available. I did not receive a call regarding this until 16 hours before we were scheduled to pick it up. It was extremely stressful to have a smaller truck than what was needed. I will likely not use Uhaul again.

when I originally set up the pick up it was at another location closer to where I needed to use the truck, i was told that things were all set, but a day later I called just to verify and was told that no trucks would be available, that was very frustrating...finally had to get a truck that was 30 miles away from where I needed it. the 2 locations I ended up using were very helpful.
