Gabrielle LewConvenient. However no one working even on a Sunday afternoon. I had trouble figuring out where to park the returned trailer. And had to call another family member to come help lift it off the truck since there was no personnel to help with this. Then worried the blankets I left in the trailer would get stolen. Hope not as they were all there.

I’m expecting to talk to the 4th person from U-Haul to find out why this charge took place. Extremely disappointed. Too many people to tell same story. Please HELP!!!

Michael VincentI had a 9am rental and the location wasn’t open until 9:15. Other locations in the metro area are open at 7, so in probably should have chosen one of those due to my time constraints. Once they arrived it was a fantastic experience, across the board.

Then after I had picked up the trailer and fully loaded it I received a call from Uhaul that I informed me that I could no longer drop it off in Truckee. Instead I would have to drop off on Sparks. I added 1.5 hours to my day. Also I was told I would be getting a credit on my rental and a customer service manager would contact me. No credit. No call. Horrific experience. Why book my rental (via phone) and then change later?

ROBERT STYLESWe had rented a 10’ truck with a dolly. The truck was fine but needed to be swept inside, and there was NO dolly. We didn’t go back for it but I will be asking to not be charged for the dolly we never received nor used. Overall the experience was good. Moving is never fun but extending the reservation was easy, expensive but easy. I think the extending process could be more simplified online with not soo many words but it was fairly self explanatory.

Ranier RosalesWas supposed to pick up the trailer at an Incline Village location, but found out only when I got there at the pickup time that that the trailer was at the Sparks location. Took another hour and half to get there. I should be compensated for the extra gas! Maybe inform someone if there’s a change?
Wallis PfautzMy original reservation was canceled without my knowledge at the Silverado location. It said I can communicate through my reservation confirmation page and that the branch would receive my text. When I got there it was canceled and I never received notification before I got there. Then there were no trucks in the size I needed available. I had to go to a farther locaction which cost me more in gas and time. I will be renting another truck in a month or 2. Would be nice to get a promo code or discount for my next rental. Also, the lady said that the text probably went to customer service even though online it said my communication will go directly to the branch. Either way, I should have been notified as soon as it was canceled or a courtesy call prior to the cancellation. Thank you.

Anthony NielsenThe extra mile charge and the reservation is ridiculous . This is the third truck I have rented in a 30 day period. Why tell customer they have a reservation if nothing is guaranteed until 48 hrs before pickup? All of reps on phone were great and helpful but your system needs some improvement. All rentals were from same town to location, this time I was charged for 10 miles over ???? You need cust loyalty program or something not to nickel and dime people.

Valerie HubbardThe staff was very courteous and helpful, and the pick up and drop off were quick. The truck was older and a little dirty, but worked fine. The U-Haul app, on the other hand, is a horrible experience. After uploading drivers license and other information more than a week prior, the app wanted new pics of my drivers license but refused to accept them. Very frustrating.

Sara GallegoThe worst experience of all. Firstly, the reservation included an insurance fee of $8. Everything usually goes smoothly. However, at the counter, they informed me that the insurance fee was $40. I declined. I rented a trailer and returned the next day. The employee detached the trailer and assured me everything was fine. But two days later, I received a letter stating that the trailer was still in rental. I responded, stating that I had returned it a long time ago. After three days, I received a bill stating that I returned the trailer a week later and they charged me the $40 insurance fee. It is a very poor place.

RANDAL RAYWhen in need for a U-Haul this is the location to go to! I have been at other locations and the Customer Service was horrendous! Nick and his Team at 405 S. Rock Blvd went above and beyond being professional. I encountered a glitch with my Bank Card and had to be on the phone with my Bank for a long time until it got resolved. Nick was so courteous and totally accommodating during that tedious process! Thank you again for all your patience Nick.
