Horrible part of Lansing, tiny storefront hidden from the road, had to drive around an almost completely vacant strip mall to find location on the backside of a building, store closed, had to go thru the website and complete a To-Do list to drop off. The service I received there is no room for improvement . The young lady that helped me was super nice best experience I've ever had in any business her performance was a 10 plus. She even stayed later after closing to be able to help me. That kind of service is what will bring me back .and I will tell my family and friends that will be the best place to go super nice. I was told that the truck needed to be returned because it was being rented out again. I get that. However, there was no one at the Office during their Office Hours and the truck hasn't left the parking lot since I dropped it off. I had over filled, significantly, the gas because I had other things that needed to be done, but returned it because I was told from an employee that it was leaving the lot that day. So, I have unfinished moving tasks because they lied to me and I will have to rent another U-Haul to finish moving the remainder of my things.Cameron K.

vehicle was there but not the utility dolly ordered. location hours were 11am on Saturday but no one was there up until 11:20 or so when we finally left. rating this poor as i was supposed to pick the vehicle up in Kalamazoo and at the last minute was told there was no vehicle and i had to drive an hour out of the way to get something . Throw in the missing equipment and it started out a mess. in addition, employee on the phone told me i did not need to bring a passport as id to get vehicle but then app did require it (or another form of documentation).David W.
The biggest problem we had was that the clerk could not find our drop off location. As a result she entered something else and when we went to drop it off using our app, it was telling us we were at the wrong location. I was able to call customer service but that was a 30 minute wait time to rectify that situation.Thomas D.

Uhual has screwed me over for the LAST time. They over charge and their prices are NOTHING like listened. I booked my uhual at cedar location, they moved it to the Holmes location in Lansing. Was stuck on the phone for 45 mins THAT TOOK UP MY RESERVATION TIME SLOT because the â€œcontactlessâ€ pick up is BULLSHIT. Never spoke with a representative. Even after requesting two call backs, attempted to message through the website and still no response from a human as of Yet . when i picked the truck up it was under a half of tank and now they are trying to charge me another 100 dollars just for fuel when i drove a total of 15 miles in the car in which THEY TOLD ME BECAUSE THE ODOMETER VERIFIED IT. So it makes no sense that 15 miles cost that much money, on top of the fact that i did put gas back in the truck and left it exactly where it was at pick up. I took a picture of the gas when i first got in the truck because this isn't the first time this has happened to me with this company. I'm highly upset with the pact of customer service and timeliness of this company and the charges.Amari M.

This is the WORSE experience I've EVER had w/uhaul my 1st time using this location W.HOLMES Rd. **DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION** My Debit Card was charged DOUBLE for a rental. **WARNING** Don't shop in the HOOD !!! There's NEVER a good turnout & I KNEW BETTER than to use this location.!!! I will dispute it with my bank!carmen B.

We were extremely disappointed to see we were charged for a 2nd day when the unit we rented wasn't even off the lot for 24 hours. The "clock" did say 24 hours and 16 minutes but that didn't reflect the hook-up and un-hook time spent on the lot! Even if that was the case, and 100% it didn't it wasn't, to charge for an entire 2nd day for 16 minutes??? Where is the logic in that? The customer service was great. The employees were excellent! The location did not score well. You have to drive away from the site around an almost abandoned shopping center with a HORRIBLE driveway to pick up and drop off your rentals. For that reason alone I wouldn't recommend this site. Move all the equipment up by the office for pick up and drop off and that would have been better.Stephanie D.

Crew did not know basic operation of the trailer-had difficulty hooking it up to my truck and then did it incorrectly (leaving the emergency chain for the brake connected to the trailer and not to the vehicle). When I dropped the trailer off they commented about that.JEFFERY PAUL R.
