audria cOur experience was not a good one at all. We decided to rent from U-Haul because of the quality past experiences at a very reasonable rate. Not only was the U-Haul we received unkept, sticky seats and smelled musty. We were charged 1.29 a mile, when we rented it on a Thursday. We had it 3 days and it was almost $180. Then we needed to get it again, as we were being locked out of our home and needed to vacate immediately, we had it two days and called to ask by when it needs to be returned so we weren't charged for another day, they said 7, we were a few minutes late and they charged us another day. We anticipated 40 miles and only went 42, so we weren't over driving it, we were/are going through a very stressful situation and really couldn't afford to waste money. The last thing, was we got a hand cart/dolly and was charged $30 , when I was quoted $10... He never specified it was $10 a day. Anyways, it was a horrible experience, I felt we were over charged for the low mileage and 5 day use for the truck. All together we rented a 10 foot truck for 5 days and did a total of 75 miles, we paid $360. I'm so flabbergasted.

VIVIAN RNice people, but I had to hook up my trailer. They said they are. It allowed to hook it up. Also, I originally booked the trailer rental at a location in Desert Hot Springs, only to arrive 30 minutes early and they already closed. So it screwed up my moving plans.
David HA previous renter didn’t drop off the truck I reserved in time and they went out of their way to make sure I got another truck and contacted me as soon as it was available. It couldn’t have been done in a more smooth manner. Thank you! Don’t know anything that could have been done better!
