When I showed up, there was no one there to help me. The owner was off site. I called the 800 number and talked to several people who tried to help. Finally, one 800 rep was helping me find another location, when an employee arrived and called the owner. Through some discussion, and the helpful UHaul and local employee, I eventually was able to rent my truck and trailer. Will NOT use that location again.
Tim W.The location I originally reserved my truck didn't have it. After driving an hour and getting a Lyft there I was frustrated. After an hour on the phone I was sent to this location for which I had to get yet another lyft ride to and turns out it was just as equally frustrating. There was one returning and had no where to park and 2 of trying to get trucks and no one at the location knew anything but that keys were in boxes. After another 30 mins on hold I never got a response but muddled my way through the website. The scan of the backside of the license alone took 10mins. So frustrating. Lost 2 hours of my move time.

Omar T.It was difficult to know where to park. The front of the place is full of rental vehicles, and the the back is not easily visible or accessible to someone unfamiliar with the area. It took us about 7-8 minutes of circling to figure it out. Signage would help as well as some type of note when the vehicle is rented.

Anne A.I picked this truck up using the mobile app early in the morning. After loading the truck and getting on the road to Birmingham, I noticed the A/C did not work. This made for a miserable ride in the heat for over 3 hours (thanks to traffic). Upon drop off, I was told the pick up location was suppose to check to make sure this was working properly. They obviously did not.
Billy G.I requested furniture pads and a dolly and neither were provided for my off-hours pickup. This wouldn't be such a problem, but I noted it when I returned the truck and the website said someone would be in touch. I never received any communication, and my card was charged for the full amount, including the items I never received

Maria S.I changed the reservation to include a furniture dolly about 2 days before getting the truck, but no furniture dolly was available. Also to get the reserved blankets and utility dolly, we needed to go into the backs of other trucks there.

As a business woman myself, it's so helpful and less stressful when you're working with someone that is working the business with the same energy especially during these times now. Jeremy A.The location is in a bad area of Atlanta. I dropped the trailer off after hours. I was approached by two men posing as employees of Uhaul. They unhooked the trailer, every thing fine until they demanded money at the end. Concerned for the safety of myself and my son I gave them $20 which is all that I had on me. Worst experience ever....
DARRIN J.Tawana was so helpful and kind. She had to check me in because the app would not work. She was great at customer service! Parking space was tight at this location but vehicles were in great shape! There is a gas station very nearby if your truck needs fuel.

tawanna B.Make sure when you make a reservation at a certain location they fulfill the order. I had to go to an alternate location and get a late start. Also try moving without a trolley. no one had them and it was a nightmare moving.

Representative hidden in an office with no signage. -Mileage count was bungled so I had to contact customer service for a refund after my initial emails to the Area Field Manager were unanswered/ignored. -Customer service made a calculation error on the refund amount so customer service had to be contacted twice to correct the initial error.
CHRISTOPHER H.Equipment that was ordered wasn't on truck, and because the order was a 24/7 customer online check in, there was nobody to help with finding equipment. Only half of the dozen ordered moving blankets were included with the truck and half of those were wet. It doesn't give much confidence in the system if there's nobody checking on equipment to make sure that orders are ready for the next customer.

Grace J.This uhaul location was assigned to us after we booked elsewhere. It arrived to find a run down tire shop in a rough area of town. Barely any signs. Had I been by myself I would have left immediately. Only positive was that the worker was kind and accommodating. But the office she took us into was practically falling down. Very unsafe and poor working conditions.
Daniel A.The uhaul was rusty and it was really hard to open and close the shutter door. The rental place did not have a utility dolly which is so basic. They first just offered to deduct it from my payment which isnt what I cared about. I cared about being able to move all the boxes I have for which I need a utility dolly which is why I ordered it in the first place. The lady then told me to go to another place 4 buildings down and get a utility dolly from there. My husband and I went and we were met by an extremely rude guy who for no reason started being rude to us. Finally after an hour of unpleasantness we got the dolly we wanted. Overall it was an awful and stressful experience on the day of our move.

TERRY K.When we arrived to the listed address we were told to go to another lot. When we arrived at the lot we were cursed at because they wanted to close. We were told we had to park our own trailer even though it was a messy lot. I tried parking it and was laughed at by two employees that were wearing normal clothing. After 20 minutes of them laughing snd coaching me on how to complete the trailer parking, they asked if they could get in my car to complete. They got in and tried for 30 minutes and weren't able to do it. I kept asking if we could just hand truck it to the position they wanted snd they kept saying no. Finally they agreed and we placed it back. Terrible lot, very mean employees and bad customer service from this location. It's a dirt lot with pot holes.
Margaret L.I specifically went at a time where an employee would be present to help me obtain the truck. There was no employee present. Someone in the area knew her and called her. I tried to speak with her on the phone but I overheard her say "no I don't want to talk to anyone." I tried to obtain the other items I rented but they were not present and no one was able to help me find these, making my move way more difficult than it needed to be. There are several more details that went horribly and I could not believe the experience that I had. This was absolutely horrible and made the stress of moving 10x worse.
Mina G.Truck was very dirty and many undocumented scuffs that I probably would have got charged for had I not been so thorough. Side sliding door missing interior handle and was inoperable. Low tire pressure in both rear tires that causing tire pressure monitoring system to stay on.

I'm also impressed with the online/digital interface for reservations, checking in, and receiving the receipt. Very easy to use.
Brian F.I don't know if it had to do with the location or Uhaul as a service, but I had signed up for an 8 am pick up with the 24/7 pick up outside of store hours. I thought I could go before the place opened at 10. Uhaul would not let me sign in for my pick up after driving to the location, saying i couldn't pick up until the store opened at 11. Not only was Uhaul incorrect (it opens at 10), but it threw a huge wrench in my moving day. I had To turn around and come back 2-3 hours later. The people at the location were excellent, I would recommend them to anybody. That said, the 24/7 pick up situation at this location caused an extremely frustrating experience.

ERICKA H.He gave away our truck to someone standing two places in line ahead of us after we told him that we were there and had tried for over an hour to call to let him know that we would be cutting it close to our reservation time. We then had to wait almost 2 hours to get a truck that was two sizes smaller without any of the moving equipment. This nearly caused me to lose my apartment because the moving crew couldn't possibly pack the truck quickly enough to get me to my next location in time. The entire experience was a disaster and I will never directly rent a truck from U-Haul ever again.
