Bonnie S.Truck has exhaust and/or transmission issue. Consistent noise level in cab was between 100 to 104dB, which is dangerous at best. Suggest it be servicered soon. The counter staff at pick-up location were friendly and helpful.

Ran outside as we were leaving for a hold on my friend which was not valid. It was someone else with the same license number. Complete waste of time. Not helpful or informative. Also as I had some complications with my move, I was supposed to drop off in the evening and couldn't so I called as soon as they opened. Was greeted with "oh I was just calling you" unlikely they were going out of their way to do anything. I explain and we make arrangements. He calls me back shortly after to inform me the truck I have is under reservation in like 30 minuets. Just a terrible experience I'm general to be honed

Other than that the person did call me ahead to let me know when the gate would be locked and that there was security on for my car so that was nice.

Jon D.This place was disgusting. I've rented a lot of uhauls over the years and this was the worst experience. The guy behind the counter had so much tobacco in his mouth that you couldn't see his teeth and he couldn't breath through his mouth. He was drooling down his shirt and onto the desk and the paperwork I had to sign! The truck I rented was also disgusting inside and smelled! The steering wheel and center arm rest were sticky and had what looked like tobacco spit in the cup holders. And, the guy didn't tell me they were closed on Monday and that no one would be around to open the gate so I couldn't even return the truck when I was suppose too and got charged an extra day!! Why uhaul lets this man rent their trucks is beyond me. I will never be back there again.

Allen D.The equipment was mostly cleaned, but the cab of the truck wasn't very well wiped down and the liner in the bed of the pickup wasn't flush with the metal and it appeared there was debris trapped underneath. We just laid down a tarp in case the rain flushed it out and everything was great.

I could have sworn they had bags of manure in the building, but come to find out, the stench was the people Working there ! there were cigarette butts littered all over the counter, old food, spot cups with chew spit. I'm not sure what the circumstances were for the man behind the counter, but it was appalling none the less. He had sweat, and chew stains on his shirt, and looked as if he had not showered in a month.. as my husband and I give him our infor, the man falls asleep, I politely repeated myself and he woke back up. And then he fell asleep again and again.. I would never advise anyone to use this location, especially during a pandemic. I was highly disgusting, and would like my money back !
syndahl M.I am not a person who likes to complain about the location that I dropped it off was not clean the building was full of cigarette smoke I could not stay inside I have asthma and it's set it off sorry for complaining but I think something needs to change at that location as far as being clean and the non-smoking area but otherwise I have no complaint thank you so much

Michael S.I was charged three times for the single use service and was able to get no help with the issue other than being told I should contact my bank. This is very concerning considering I almost didn't have enough to cover the cost. I also was not aware of the charges until after returning the equipment and seeing my bank statement.

The male that rented me the truck was rude, it was hard to hear him through the plexi glass window and when it was clear he needed to speak up, he yelled and acted put out of the inconvenience of repeating himself. Not to mention he had a large amount of disgusting chew and spittle hanging from his mouth. I will never go to that location again.

We had to drive back to our destination and then we were charged additional fees instead of saving money. I'll never rent from U-haul again. The entire experience wA terrible.

Jane E.The day I was at Santiam U-Haul the rental options were very limited. My selection was between two vehicles, a small truck and a large truck. I chose the small truck. I would have preferred a van or small enclosed trailer, but they were not available. I would suggest that you call ahead to find out if they have what you want. Chris, the store attendant was courteous, knowledgeable and efficient with the computer order and pleasant to talk to. The total rental process took less than 10 minutes. The small truck I rented had 48,000 miles on it but looked new inside and out. It rode great and was not intimidating to drive around town or in fairly heavy I-5 traffic.

Reserved the trailer 30 days in advance, called 3 days before to confirm and on day of pick up was told the trailer was not available and he could not get anything we were out of luck. Called the albany location and he helped us immediately

Luis C.Internet shows 24/7 dropoff but I was unable to do so. There was a chain locked at the driveway. Ended up driving 30 extra miles back home when unsure where to go and coordinating ride share. It was frustrating! I returned the next day on lunch break.

When we finally connected he informed me that I never called and he had his phone on him at all times. After being very annoyed, I just decided to drop it and let him be right on the matter. lol. When my girlfriend went out to pick up the truck she could not find anyone at the U-Haul site for about 10 minutes. When she went back to the officers had returned. He must have not realized she was there because she could here the sound of a porno coming from the device he was on. Not sure if it was a phone or not. She felt extremely uncomfortable at the site and said the nan was very creepy.
